Is the Ibanez Echo Shifter Good for Metal
If you're interested in this delay pedal and you've made it to my channel, then you must want to know if it the Echo Shifter is Good for Metal. Short answer: yes! Long answer: ummmm yes totally! Ha ha. This pedal gives you analog or digital sounds with the flick of a switch. You can go from crystal clean echos to those warped tape saturated sounds of analog. It's essentially a hybrid delay pedal, packing in analog flavor in with digital staples. It comes packed in with tap tempo, a modulation switch, a depth knob for coloring, mix for volume, a feedback knob, an oscillation switch for infinite feedback, and lastly a delay time lever to help you create crazy experimental sounds. Again, is the Ibanez Echo Shifter good for Metal? Hell yes!!!! It has everything you would ever need for metal.

Is all the buzzing and humming from the pedal ? Are you using decent cables ? Noise Gate that MF'er. I knew I would like this pedal. What part of the U.S.A.are you in Dustin ? . first time drive by.. Nice. yeah, I like the pedal for sure. \m/

The Buzzing and the humming are coming from the amp. This video was made before I started using a gate in the FX loop as well as using a hum destroyer in the front of my amp. I live in AZ at the moment. I'm glad you're pumped about this pedal! Have a great day.

This pedal is not a hybrid. It's a completely analog circuit, including the modulation. The only digital aspect of it is the clock for incorporating tap tempo. But that has nothing to do with the tone. Even the new ES-3 Echo Shifter is not technically a hybrid as it contains two separate circuits; one digital and one analog.

It's still working for me and it's been about a decade since I bought it. This is the first I've heard of these pedals breaking.

I have some delay/ping-pong/echo effects in V-Amp Pro but this one you showed is weird. Still, Don't quote me on that. I know shit about effects beside 80s tallica tone set to 50% that I truly love and use a similar preset

I totally remember the v-amps ping pong delay it was pretty cool. As for the echoshifter, different strokes for different folks. I like the slight coloring this pedal gives.
