hello everyone! kingdom hearts videos are back, finally! sorry that it took so long! a gentle reminder that i don't stream and make videos full time, this is just my own personal hobby so i wouldn't be able to get anything done when life gets busy. and condensing a long playthrough into one video takes forever :( but i appreciate all of your patience hehe. so, the question now, what's your favorite ost in kingdom hearts?? mine would probably be ventus and xion's theme! ❤
The Thirteenth Struggle, the battle theme for most Organization XIII encounters, is probably one of my favourites, as well as Dive Into the Heart, the first song that plays in Kingdom Heart's tutorial. There is one I like the best, but it'd be kind of a spoiler. It plays in a secret fight from this game actually!
Excited to watch this! Marluxia's boss theme, Lord of the Castle, is incredible and probably my favorite. Also Xemnas's boss theme Disappeared is super underappreciated imo!
@skyeifer Well, my favorite KH OSTs are (without spoiling future tracks in the next games): - Sora’s Theme. - Roxas’s Theme. - Ventus’s Theme. - The Other Promise. - Vector to the Heavens (Xion’s Theme). - Darkness of the Unknown. - Force del Male. - Dive Into the Heart (or Destati). - Fragments of Sorrow. - Hollow Bastion. - The 13th Struggle. - Vin & Vigor. - Lord of the Castle. - Naminé’s Theme. - Rage Awakened. - Night of Fate. - Hand in Hand (the OG KH1 version).
since you asked why riku didnt say anything about terra, he does remember him and this moment, but he is just keeping it a secret as terra said. in kh1 we see a flashback that happens after this moment where riku reveals to sora already he wants to leave the islands with him.
@@skyeifer yup. On the other hand, Sora (and Kairi) are the ones who don't remember anything of this time period, as we saw and will see later, since they are too young at 4yo (and Kairi also was traumatized and stuff). The only memories Sora remembers is said Kh1 flashback, where he passes out when Monstro eats the gummiship and dreams this memory back up. Riku was 5 on the other hand. BBS so is set 10 years before kh1, and radiant garden was said to fall 9 years before kh1
one of the saddest stories in the KH series and some of the toughest final boss fights as well 😤 Terra is supposed to be played first and I was stuck on Xehanort for so long lol
I didn't know people didn't like KH:BBS command-based combat. It's actually my favourite from the saga, I really liked experimenting with the crafting system and getting cool powerful commands and passive skills. And the different combo gauges and finishers as well, the shotlocks are also very unique, I just loved the variety and customization you can do unlike in previous games where it's the same combos all the time
Gameplay wise, I'd say Chain of Memories is an easy pick xD. I liked messing with the cards when I was a kid, but at some point it became stale and just spammed the same combinations over and over. There's also the Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, which comes after KH3. It's a rhythm game. And while I like rhythm games usually, I found this one kinda boring
I'm a big fan of BBS and Terra specifically so this was a really fun video to watch :) The trio's bond with Cinderella is also one of my favorite things about this game, so I'm happy you picked up on how cute Terra's interactions with her are /ps, When you get to Aqua's route, she has a ton of cool spells you can meld so I'd recommend looking up recipes if you're interested. As the mage of the trio and the only protagonist who is a fully fledged keyblade master, she gets to flex her magic a little LOL
oh yeah terra and cinderella's interactions were so cute hahaha my heart was fluttering! as for aqua, i'm usually not a magic person but playing as her was soooo fun!!!
What Xehanort (along with Maleficent and Braig) does with Terra is actually quite insidious, building him up and breaking him in at just the right times. The first break happens with Maleficent tricking Terra into thinking that he was the one who stole Aurora's heart, making him feel guilty enough for negativity - and in turn, darkness - to sink in. The second break, Braig holding Xehanort hostage and pushing Terra to the brink - after which, Xehanort reassured Terra while making him adapt to the level of darkness that he channeled. The last attempted break was when Terra was spurred to confront Eraqus. Sure enough, he had to channel more darkness just to match Eraqus. However, Xehanort didn't expect Terra to stop when Eraqus was worn down - in fact, the two were just reconciling. So, Xehanort changed gears and decided to torment Terra more directly - kill Eraqus in front of him, ravage his home world, and threaten the lives of his friends if he doesn't confront him. All this to overload Terra with enough darkness to trap his heart and steal his body...! - Well, Terra _technically_ helped Maleficent reach Aurora. As a fairy, it's natural for her to return a favor owed. So...yeah, Terra's stuck with this D-Link, whether he likes it or not. - That queen is sometimes known as Queen Grimhilde. Subtle, I know. - Well, "vanitas" is a word from Latin, another Romance language. So, maybe that's why? - What's most interesting about Xehanort is that the majority of what he says is actually honest. He makes surprisingly good points about light and darkness needing to be balanced - he merely keeps secret what lengths he'd go to to achieve this balance. - Yeah, this Zack seems to be a part of the Olympus Coliseum world - he even has the same ear style as the Hercules characters. On a similar note, did you know Nomura had to decide whether Birth by Sleep or Dissidia Duodecim would have Laguna Loire? - Okay, yes, Hook did trick Terra. However, Terra learned the truth before any real damage could be done, AND he tricked Hook back (with less effort) to rescue Tinker Bell. So in the end, who's the real idiot there? - And thus begins the complicated algebra of Terra's and Xehanort's hearts, bodies, and souls. - The heroes' armors were supposed to have their capes, like in KH2's secret movies, but they obscured a lot in gameplay. So Final Mix just has Lingering Will's cape just FOOMPH out of nowhere before it kneels.
i think bbs will forever be my favortie kingdom hearts game. i've played through all the routes about a year ago and i felt like a little kid exploring all the worlds from each character's perspective. not to mention it gave me a better understanding of what the actual heck is happening in the other games to begin with. But by far I think the gameplay of building the command deck was super fun. :D
I love your videos, you are so cute and I like to see how you react the games, roxas is my favorite character, he is so cute and adorable, which I see ventus My brain started stays so confused

From all KH probably Roxas' Song from II under tower in dream! From this game the Vanitas Song of fight later phase! - Wnbwi!

yeah they sound very similar!!

AAAAA now that makes sense! everyone didn't answer me in the chat because they didn't want to spoil 😂
