I'm beyond stoked to hear you're going through the other Xeno games. I'm doing the exact same thing, since this left me craving more and more Xeno lmao. Hopefully I beat it soon so I don't have to stop myself from watching it Also, my personal Xenoblade rankings would be 3 > 2 > 1, just because 3 has what I believe to be the best package of a game, but I love Rex and the combat of 2 so much that it edges out 1 just barely, but I think every Xenoblade game is a 9/10, with 3 being a 10/10 after the DLC cause.... God damn. This game is just beautiful.
If you put the reunification over the scene of Noah waking up after the end of Aionios Noah hears the song at the exact moment that the world reconnects. Confirming that Noah and Mio's promise and love brought it back together. Their feelings, the worlds, forever interlinked.

Peak. Fiction. What else can I say? This whole DLC was just a love letter and a PERFECT sendoff for this cast of characters. The part where we see Pneuma's core crystal inside Matthews glove: HOLY. MOLY. I SCREAMED!! THEY KNEW we wanted to see Pyra/Mythra and hey! we got it! This story is now tied for my absolute favorite story with Xenoblade 2. I was so happy to play as Rex, Go against a giant being, and have a kickass OST one more time. While I am sad this is the end of this arc of the series I AM VERY excited to see what Takahashi and the team do next. This series has brought me so much joy but most of all it brought me so many wonderful friends and communities including us! Here's to the future!
hey there! rex is the GOAT! and yes, i love the plot in this dlc so much! it's such an interesting way to conclude the trilogy with a prequel! i also can't wait what takahashi is cooking for his next project!
The day when N lost the light in his eyes. He didn't want to kill Ghondor. You can even see that Ghondor pulled the sword even further. N also never killed everyone in the city. Many of them were already with Alpha. But N tried to convince himself that it had to happen... and M only saw the outcome, but never what really happened. N is such a tragic character. I feel sorry for him and can't hate him. You're right about Zettar... but I also couldn't stand Amalthus. The final chapter... the reference to Xenoblade X made me actually cry out loud. Also kudos to Mathew's VA. This guy gave me goosebumps with his speech.
I'm so happy you were able to complete this trilogy. Klaus' saga was an emotional roller-coaster! I really appreciate this franchise, and it was quite lovely to relive the story watching your videos. Thank you so much for providing these moments to us all, Skye!! 💜
i grew up with these games and the effect they had on me have been profound. i largely attribute so much to this franchise for changing my life and helping me through some of the roughest moments of my life. i am so glad that so many others feel this way. tysm for giving xenoblade a chance. While I do have to shamefully admit I don't know much at all from xenosaga or xenogears (I'll happily watch your playthroughs of them if you're doing videos on them) But oh my GOODNESS the Klaus saga.. was just phenomenal.. I cant imagine how I almost missed out on this series, and how I barely even picked up one of the games when by far these games are at the top of my list for my favorites.. each game has such deep messages to pass on, to teach people, its so disconnected from the world we know, but all feels relatable in one way or another. No other game series has ever made me feel the way the Klaus Saga made me feel. To say these games changed my life is an understatement, these games were just everything I never even knew I wanted. I just cant ever forget how much this trilogy has touched my heart, regardless if future ganes hold up or not, I'm just so incredibly thankful to have cone across this series.. Through the sketchy tutorials and some yikes gameplay.. this series is still forevermore one of the most cherished memories Ill ever have. Rex, Klaus, Nia, Pyra/Mythra, Morag, Noah, Mio, Lanz, Ethel, Taion, Melia, Riki, Shulk, Dickson.. and ofc Riku.. just the best casts of characters ever.. I love the Xenoblade series so much. And thank you for letting us share in your experience with the trilogy. 💜💜

Matthew's statue said he unlocked the full power of Ouroboros, and THEN gathered people to the newly founded City, and THEN went on an adventure he didn't come back from. So he did keep his promise. He went out and found some friends, just as he said. And once the City was rebuilt, he did as A suggested and went off on a journey to wander the world, where he apparently met someone he fell in love and had a family with, whose descendants eventually found their way back to the City.
Yeah, Z was not a great villain, but the “concept” of Z was ominous as Noah said, if you think about it Xenoblade 3 has been my favorite but dam, 2 and Torna hits very hard in my heart too! I can’t choose one! Thanks for sharing this game with us!
Yeah i had a hard time accepting Z too since he just seemed to come out of nowhere and all we got was "he's the will of the world", but after a while i think i finally figured out what and who he really was. At the end of XB1 shulk created the new world with the wish "the future should be decided by each and every person in the world, so what we wish for is a world with no gods". Now look what happens after that, a few years later alrest comes crashing into the planet, everyone on the world sees it and starts screaming to make it stop, then Z appears out of nowhere and freezes the crash in time. Z is literally the embodiment of shulk's wish as everyone in the world made the same wish to stop the crash If you think about him with that kind of context, then he makes alot more sense

There's then a fan theory that Reyn, Sharla, Dunban, Riki, Kino, and Nene are also within (which would make all _seven_ of Shulk's and Melia's allies). Oh, and Takahashi also confirmed that Riki is indeed Riku's dadapon. - It's not just M's eventual death that weighs heaviest on N, but also the fact that he had accidentally cut down his own son in his attempt to stop Alpha... - Project Exodus, Philadelphia-class motherships, Dmitri Yuriev, even Vector Industries - everything is finally connected. Although, if the Salvators/Saviorites and the Ganglion were both ravaging Earth, then Klaus's experiment may have been one of the better ways to ensure the planet would live. - Alpha's final form is even reminiscent of Deus...! - "Fists of the End"? Seriously, N, even becoming Moebius hasn't fixed your name-giving skills. Ahem, regardless...it took a union of Ontos's memory space, Logos's power in N, and Pneuma's Ouroboros Knuckles to birth the first Interlink. - I don't think we've seen anyone who could possibly be Mythra's kid - no one with golden hair or golden eyes. Guess they're being saved for Xenoblade's future. - Did you think A was the secret seventh Founder? Nope! It was Riku all along! He just can't get away from the number 7. (Not sure if you figured it out, but Panacea is heavily implied to be the daughter of Sharla and Reyn, and Linka the daughter of Pandoria and Zeke.) - Huh, that's a peculiar blue glimmer drifting down to the new Earth...Iunno, any blue-colored maidens you can think of? (...I'm talking about KOS-MOS, at the end of Episode III.) Well done, Klaus. Despite all the horrors and hardships, your experiment eventually yielded a grand new world.
Told you on your XC3 ending video I'd watch this when I was done! Just a day later lol so good. And I agree with your rankings. I think 3 would be higher if it wasn't so confusing. Like I get it, but too much implying and too much hidden behind side content. XC2 just for some reason sticks with me. I loved them all, I loved 1's story, but for some reason 2 really sticks out to me regardless of it's flaws and I don't even know why.

What now you say? Hehehe now you go back, revisit the cutscene that plays the radio, and listen to the radio instead of the conversation. Then once you've listened to that. The time has come for you to play Xenoblade X. Then once you beat X, go back to 2 and get the 3 special Blades in the special world. And for the 3rd Special Blade do her 5th field survey and then your mind will be really blown.
I was desperate to see Pyra and Mythra again..... It was too much when I saw them ijn the montage. XC2 is also my favorite by far, I feel so attached to the cast still.
Same, I feel like Xenoblade 3 is the most complicated and confusing one. Assuming that it was like the conclusion for the trilogy, especially Future Redeemed, I really hope they would've explained all things, not as vague as this. And yes, not saying it's bad, but it's hard to digest for people like me. From another perspective it can lead to open theory discussions for the fans so it's good too I guess...
No we know that Na'el found Ontos, Ghondor found Pneuma and N found Logos. While Pneuma was in Matthew's fists and later in Noah's sword, Logos was inside of N's version of Lucky Seven.
@@skyeifer Yes, he did. Rex said "If only those two were here." Those two are Pneuma and Logos and not Pyra and Mythra. Look at 53:33. Rex talks about "them" and then the camera goes to N's sword (Logos) and to Matthew's fist (Pneuma).
Man, such a great series. Loved seeing that Noah had Pneuma's core crystal and N had Logos' the whole time, and while they say the series isn't over it's the end of the Klaus saga so we won't see these characters again outside of fanservice... and I'm sad about that. But I loved the series. I dunno what my favourite is, but I think XC3 is the best game, altogether - replaying 2 I enjoy the story and characters well enough but a lot of the sidequests are mid compared to 3's. I'm glad you enjoyed the series - and looking forward to more KH :p
Aint no way, its a lil detail but at the begining you fought a mini boss names "dragon god alcar" its litteraly the same dragon we fought in xc1 in prison island before facing dickson and zanza (hes name was dragon king alcar) im in shock
I always figured that "Lucky Seven" was a meta name: Xenogears, the Three Xenosaga games, and then the third Xenoblade game makes seven (since Takahashi didn't direct Xenoblade X)

I realised something. There is one particular...........uhm.........thing, all 3 main characters (Shulk, Rex and Noah) have in common (besides wielding swords). Care to guess which? XDD
@@skyeifer theyre all dead o.o. Or perhaps itd be more axcurate to say, all three of them died at least once, before or at the start of the adventure xD.
X is such a different beast compared to the trilogy. No spoilers in that but I will say it is VASTLY different. And most importantly, after you play that game and finish its main story, watch the end of future redeemed again.
Something I love is the subtle storytelling in the character’s appearances. Alpha has almost all the hallmarks of being Alvis. Male presentation, voice, clothing and everything. But Alpha’s hair falls straight and orderly. Alvis’ hair is a little unruly, similar to A. Another one I love is the fact that Matthew is almost the spitting image of Rex, outside of inheriting Noah/N’s blue eyes and rocking the hairstyle and fighting style of Fei Fong Wong
@@skyeiferat 16:05, while talking about lucky 7, you listed the 7 xc1 party members. I want to clarify that it's totally fine mispronouncing some names, it happens, but it's always an 'ouch' moment 😂
XC2 is my fav too but I love them all. I just love the cast so much. The villains were awesome too. While 1 and 3 has some bangers, XC2 has the most consistent and overall best soundtrack imo. Really surprised you didn't like XC2 combat. It's my fav by far and most rewarding. Building up the elements, choosing a path for desired effect and chain attacking for a full burst. Fantastic. XC3 is 2nd and XC1 is by far the worst for me. Anyway great reaction ... I can't wait to see what's next. Really hope they eventually tie-in Xenoblade Chroicles X or at least finish the story.

Weirdly enough, while XC2 is my least favourite I will happily concede that it has the best villains by a country mile. On the other hand 1 is probably my favourite and it has easily the worst villain in the series with Egil, weird how that works out. Like, the game tries so hard to make you go "he was so noble all along!" and like: the many, many, MANY war crimes, though

Told you on your XC3 ending video I'd watch this when I was done! Just a day later lol so good. And I agree with your rankings. I think 3 would be higher if it wasn't so confusing. Like I get it, but too much implying and too much hidden behind side content. XC2 just for some reason sticks with me. I loved them all, I loved 1's story, but for some reason 2 really sticks out to me regardless of it's flaws and I don't even know why.

@@ontoshere i'd highly recommend playing xenogears first! and i honestly prefer the story in the older xeno games so far!

What now you say? Hehehe now you go back, revisit the cutscene that plays the radio, and listen to the radio instead of the conversation. Then once you've listened to that. The time has come for you to play Xenoblade X. Then once you beat X, go back to 2 and get the 3 special Blades in the special world. And for the 3rd Special Blade do her 5th field survey and then your mind will be really blown.

Same, I feel like Xenoblade 3 is the most complicated and confusing one. Assuming that it was like the conclusion for the trilogy, especially Future Redeemed, I really hope they would've explained all things, not as vague as this. And yes, not saying it's bad, but it's hard to digest for people like me. From another perspective it can lead to open theory discussions for the fans so it's good too I guess...

No we know that Na'el found Ontos, Ghondor found Pneuma and N found Logos. While Pneuma was in Matthew's fists and later in Noah's sword, Logos was inside of N's version of Lucky Seven.

@@skyeifer Yes, he did. Rex said "If only those two were here." Those two are Pneuma and Logos and not Pyra and Mythra.
Look at 53:33. Rex talks about "them" and then the camera goes to N's sword (Logos) and to Matthew's fist (Pneuma).

Man, such a great series. Loved seeing that Noah had Pneuma's core crystal and N had Logos' the whole time, and while they say the series isn't over it's the end of the Klaus saga so we won't see these characters again outside of fanservice... and I'm sad about that.
But I loved the series. I dunno what my favourite is, but I think XC3 is the best game, altogether - replaying 2 I enjoy the story and characters well enough but a lot of the sidequests are mid compared to 3's.

Aint no way, its a lil detail but at the begining you fought a mini boss names "dragon god alcar" its litteraly the same dragon we fought in xc1 in prison island before facing dickson and zanza (hes name was dragon king alcar) im in shock

I always figured that "Lucky Seven" was a meta name: Xenogears, the Three Xenosaga games, and then the third Xenoblade game makes seven (since Takahashi didn't direct Xenoblade X)

my personal opinion is xc1 > xc3 > xc2, but I love all three of them a lot.
Gameplaywise it's reversed, (Torna >) xc2 > (Future redeemed >) xc3 > xc1

X is such a different beast compared to the trilogy. No spoilers in that but I will say it is VASTLY different. And most importantly, after you play that game and finish its main story, watch the end of future redeemed again.

Something I love is the subtle storytelling in the character’s appearances. Alpha has almost all the hallmarks of being Alvis. Male presentation, voice, clothing and everything. But Alpha’s hair falls straight and orderly. Alvis’ hair is a little unruly, similar to A.
Another one I love is the fact that Matthew is almost the spitting image of Rex, outside of inheriting Noah/N’s blue eyes and rocking the hairstyle and fighting style of Fei Fong Wong

XC2 is my fav too but I love them all. I just love the cast so much. The villains were awesome too. While 1 and 3 has some bangers, XC2 has the most consistent and overall best soundtrack imo.
Really surprised you didn't like XC2 combat. It's my fav by far and most rewarding. Building up the elements, choosing a path for desired effect and chain attacking for a full burst. Fantastic. XC3 is 2nd and XC1 is by far the worst for me.
Anyway great reaction ... I can't wait to see what's next. Really hope they eventually tie-in Xenoblade Chroicles X or at least finish the story.

Weirdly enough, while XC2 is my least favourite I will happily concede that it has the best villains by a country mile. On the other hand 1 is probably my favourite and it has easily the worst villain in the series with Egil, weird how that works out. Like, the game tries so hard to make you go "he was so noble all along!" and like: the many, many, MANY war crimes, though
