I feel like winning this race was extra hype because the race didn't go on for too long and everyone was still raring to go. In the past when you were 1st, if the race took too long or was after an unreasonable amount of pulls the excitement was shadowed by the relief of finally being done.
This tier not being buggy or giga overtuned made it super fun to watch. Magmorax being undertuned was a bit sad, but otherwise insanely good raid. You guys flat out played better than Echo this tier, and by a decent margin. Was great fun for the last couple of hours when it was so close.
I think the reason this one felt better is because of the way voting ended, idk who would have won but it felt like you guys got shafted. And sepulcher was just horrible, like the length of it I mean. Also I think there's a much higher level of sophistication now than there was in the past which makes your win feel better. But I have to ask, did you guys make sure to let Gingi know you beat Method? He seemed to be rooting for you, I think he'd wanna know.

Literally the best race dude, I literally switched my sleep schedule from EU to NA to follow the Liquid Fam from first pull right down to that final Kamehame Ha Fuck Yes moment 😜🤣 big up you and the squad 1000% deserved and glad you are all right back on top where you belong 😜
It's fair to say that if Liquid had not shut their streams off, the chances of Echo getting the kill first would have been much much higher, since before that Echo didn't have P3 knowledge or strats. Them shutting off stream denied them free information, and was def the correct call from Liquid.
You do realize that all this comes down to timezone right? Without it Echo would have gotten to the boss first and could have done the exact same thing Liquid did.
I think one of the main reasons this tier felt great compared to the others is the lack of problems balance/bug wise. It felt perfectly fair and like no one got screwed over, the better team just won

And a week later and it hasn't even shipped yet 🎉 GG on world first, but whoever handles your merch sucks ass.
good job on the win!! its crazy what you can accomplish when everybody gets up instead of hitting snooze. i learned from torretto that winning is winning but cant really call it a race if everyone isnt at the starting line when it starts ya know. honestly till theres a straight up head to head go nobody can really say Liquid is the best team. just looking at it from a purely statistical pov. since the majority of echo's roster is former method you have to include the raid wins and the dungeon wins with the ones earned since the echo reform. so all in all till they beat em heads up the only way they can be better is go on a storybook run and dominate for multiple tiers or even expansions to over take echo's team.
I tend to only tune in for the last few bosses after reset, and either I didn't follow this well enough, or this was killed on day 6? Kind of a downer to see a RWF be killed within the first week, especially since they still haven't made it a synchronized global release..
This race didn't have bosses with extreme bs that was designed to simply delay the end of the race and then get nerfed mid race so of course it felt better
