that second last part about happiness and learning is so so true. knowing about how learning works has actually changed my whole outlook on life, just knowing how the mind works and takes in information and how we can program our mind to control how we take in information will definitely definitely make you a WHOLE new person

Before, i just felt afraid and insecure of the idea of studying abroad because I know my methods of learning is really inefficient. After learning about these techniques from Justin, I just want to test my limits. It got me from being fearful to excited. Knowing how learning works really is a beautiful thing.

I'm only halfway through the video and I have to say that this is so amazing to watch and learn. You explain things so very clearly.
Edit: I finished the video and I just had an epiphany about how I learn. I've always said that I learn better "hands on" and by doing things on the job. And I am realizing now that it is because doing things puts me in a position of forced higher thinking, and makes me have to think about the connections between what I'm doing to help me do my job well. Knowing now that that is why "hands on" education works for me feels like I've finally solved one of the biggest mysteries of my brain. Thanks Justin!

In this RUclips transcript, Justin discusses his motivation for studying abroad and the concept of learning. He emphasizes the need to challenge oneself and explore different career options before committing to a specific path. Justin also explains the difference between higher order thinking skills and higher order learning, highlighting the importance of critical thinking and making connections between ideas. He introduces the concept of the Snowball Effect, which suggests that the more knowledge one gains, the easier it becomes to learn new things. Justin emphasizes the significance of grouping information together and prioritizing it to enhance the learning process. He recommends using a tablet with a pen stylus and an infinite canvas app for note-taking, as it allows for flexibility and easy rearrangement of ideas. Justin believes that learning to learn effectively can lead to a sense of control, confidence, and happiness in the learning process. He also expresses his vision of revolutionizing the traditional method of studying, making it more enjoyable, efficient, and impactful for students.

He has a course that will actually help you understand how to practically apply what he mentions on youtube. 60% of the value of it, is the individual catering you receive from it. This is when you'll truly learn how to apply what he teaches in your own situation. This is when you'll start to see it less as a vague set of concepts, but more as a concrete, practical system.
If you don't like the course, you can refund as long as you do it within 1 month.

irrelevant to this video but i was wondering, it's easy to improve if you can evaluate yourself, so how exactly should one go about doing that? I doubt having a 'feel' would be enough since that could be very deceptive.
I have a lot of things I want to try but I don't know how to test what works and what doesn't for me since I can't just read something with one technique, note my time of how long it takes me to relate it to other things, and then forget it and read it again.
