Worth the wait!
Learned a lot. Watching these videos gave me the confidence to rebuild mine for it to blow up 🤣 went back and well, gonna try it again. Think I got it this time. Raptor 660.
No You Rock Thanks For Motivation And Amazing Content!!! You have Helped Sooo Much!!!
I'll say it again Mike best atv content on RUclips. 🎩
Mike ur a badass with these machines man, it’s awesome! I bought a 02 660 in March and it needs attention. Finance’s got tough fight after so now I’m starring at it. It needs about 1,000 in parts. So ur builds give me inspiration in the mean time. Keep up the good work Mike👍 Do have a eBay page?
Mike did you ever think about becoming a Automotive motorcycle technician teacher teaching a class on your knowledge and ability and just passing on everything
His biggest audience/class is right where he’s at. Good thoughts tho
I don’t think he’s got the patience to deal with that! Lol however he’s basically teaching a huge class here on RUclips! I’m so stoked for him man, this year is his. His channel and views are finally blowing up and he deserves to finally start making some $$ for his passion and hard work
What do you think he's doing ?
Dude, you're right on the mark with this comment!
teaching in a class doesnt make much sense anymore, why teach to a small group of people for very little money, when you can impart your knowledge to millions and be compensated correctly, his knowledge will remain on youtube longer than any memory of a class, and the barrier to watch and learn is a lot less, he will also inspire more people into atv's, being a mechanic, or even just making youtube videos.
Agree with u 100%. They trying to destroy anything that is fun or law abiding citizens enjoy. I say this after every vid. That my favorite. But really like the attention to detail. Colors are sick. Seriously saw other comments saying same. You should be a teacher. Be cool to have a bring ur quad weekend aftermarket upgrade class. Thx for great content and vid.
Your content is head over heels better than anyone else doing the same. Thanks for takin the time to do stuff right. Always learning on your channel Mile!
BRO?! YOU'RE DRILLING THAT COVER WHEN YOU PACKED THE ENGINE MOSTLY? JEEZZ BROO , HOW COME NO BODY SEE'S THIS? BEST MEKANIK EVER !!
like always high end quality stuff from Sabo! i really love it that you are not afraid of making really long videos, other go for 20 minutes and sometimes these videos than feel rushed in any way. your videos is like your work its all about details and passion and that is nice to watch. wish you the best and im excited for the first run!
Thank you for the love and for the feedback on the longer videos - for whatever reason, people do seem to love them 🤘
love the amount of humor that this guy has while building these 4 wheelers.. its always fun to watch
DUDE, you hit the spot with those machines being crushed. Absolutely pisses me off too
Wish more people talked about this a lot of them are vintage at this point
@@StraightothePointNews Wtf trashing good machines?!?!?!
Same
As a person that loves qauds and bikes and working on them and tools I have to say.. your set up is super sweet and YOUR KNOWLEDGE.. MAN.. makes all those tools so much sweeter... seeing them used the right way and explained so detailed is like perfect. I don't have the money or means to have what you have. But I work hard pay my bills and save a Lil to get another bike.. 💯 have some tools and a garage. Just have to get a project... coming from Danville. IL thank you Mike
Another trick you can try for the liner is welding down the length of the liner bore in multiple spots. The weld shrinks the liner and makes removal much easier. It's somewhat commonplace when rebuilding industrial engines that use dry liners. Love the content man, I enjoy seeing you resurrect quads anyone else wouldn't take the time to even consider.
That Raptor has never seen so much love and attention to detail!💪💪👍 The build is coming out amazing. The color combo is perfect for it.
I’m a dirtbike kind of guy but golly do I enjoy watching your build videos love them!
Someone gotta make a stand against crushing these bikes, especially banshees!!! This shit is outta control!!! Killin it already bro!!! Motor looks stellar
100% Den! Thank you as always bro!
I like how you are cleanly organized and you tell details I agree with you no need to destroy awesome quads that can be used by other people.
I resurfaced a viking 700 cylinder head that kept blowing head gaskets. Used a 1/4" plate glass with 400 grit sandpaper. Worked really good, no more head gasket failures.
Thanks
Demster1, I can't believe I missed this; thank you so much for the super thanks!!
Love your builds!! Nothing better than saving an amazing quad from the past!! Keep up your work and I'll keep watching!! 👍
I appreciate the love and support Charles 🤘
Absolutely!! You do a good job of keeping me focused and not bored watching your content. Your editing is on point!! 👍
O hell ya brother I been watching and waiting these waits feel like forever us riders don't get to many channels that fill the need
I appreciate you waiting man! I am trying to get as much content as I can get up for you guys 🤘
I have the same heli coil set. Have used it many times over the last 4-5 years. It's so radass how organized you are. I work out of town so much I have to buy machines that don't need that much attention. Everything you build is inspiring.
You have the best quad videos Micheal
Thank you!
You have a good eye for attention to detail, you do really good work!
First time i see somebody doing such a perfect and clean job 👍
The Sabo edition raptor. 1 of 1. Thing looks absolutely bad ass!
Thank you moto!
The finale... Top quad... Excited for some sweet future content!
Yes, that's coming soon too man!
Awesome to see this thing come back to life!
Mike man once again setting the standard. That bronze on black jack man. We’ll be seeing that on factory bikes soon
That's would be awesome if the factories followed suite man!
Hey Mike! Wow mate, it looks like heaven to have all the parts cleaned, painted & prepped ready to go, laid out on your bench like that! The colour schemes look fantastic, both engine & bodywork. The partly assembled engine looks absolutely beautiful! As I have said before - "It's bloke's bling!".
One thing though - I never actually saw you install the counter shaft oil seal you talked about. Did you forget? I hope not, but if so, here's your reminder ok?
I love the video Mike even though I have never owned an atv or motorcycle. Watching what you do makes me want to get into this sport/hobby/obsession, but I will just have to continue to be a keen & jealous spectator. Cheers.
Neville, thank you for the kind words and for the reminder on the seal. The fact that you've never had a machine of your own and still watch my videos is a big compliment; Thank you!
I’ve check his channel religiously waiting for this video. Amazing content as always!
I love the precision and the OCD level you have when doing these Rebuilds. Just shows taking your time always makes for perfection. Amazing job 👏
I've recently subscribed to your channel and I can't get enough! I binged watched the entire Voodoo Banshee playlist in one sitting! I've also watched the Quadzilla, Trail and Play Banshee, and Grape Ape builds in the few days since subscribing. Taking a POS and turning it into something for everyone to be jealous of like you do is somehow... mesmerizing. But I have to say, during this build my OCD causes me a tremendous amount of anxiety every time is see the color difference between the green on the seat and the nerf bar nets! LOL Can't wait to see this one finished!!
Love it. I have an 03 that was badly mistreated. I have hours upon hours working through it. It's a shame they are disappearing. Great work man
Thank you and that's awesome you've got your own basket case raptor to save 🤘
Another FRIGGEN amazing video! You knock it out of the park every time.
Appreciate the full transparency on everything
From the build to the scammers lol
Ya bro I def been waiting a minute for this one
It’s been worth it tho
Can’t wait for the finale!
I appreciate you waiting man! Finale coming asap!
Great vid Mike…very detail oriented, which I think a lot of ppl don’t have the patience for. I like that you don’t skip over important assembly steps. I’ve done top end but have never done bottom. Your vid is very informative that I may give it a go on a future project. Great work. Love your passion for quads 👍🏻
Looking awesome can not wait to see the finished product
Thank you Adam!
you are the king of surfacing!
Hope you had a good time on your trip. Thanks for awesome content dude!
It was a great one man and thank you for watching my videos!
i want a full engine breakdown, i love those videos!
Hands down best builds on RUclips! You define making quads kool again
Thank you for that Carl!
I finally got around to watching the video and as always it's well worth the wait. The Raptor will be awesome once it's all complete. :)
This quad is so good can't wait really till next assembly, assembly. Ep 5 asa 🙌🏿Great watch mate 👍🏿Good job mate.
Just waiting for another Sabo upload! Enjoy these videos. Such educational and enjoyable
Mike as always top notch work bro one one the best john from Scotland
Dude I think you’re the best at customizing atv’s and dirt bikes idc what nobody say you’re cold with the bikes hands down you got my support fasho I honestly don’t watch anybody else on RUclips but you and listen to music you really take your time with every project you do that’s what I like about your work 💯
Man I have to give it to you, your builds are top notch and you brought a childhood passion for sport quads back to me!! I remember before cell phones I had dirtwheels magazines thanks for the awesome content sir
Dude I’m so glad you’re doing a Raptor! I’m about to get mine ready to race for when I’m done healing an injury 🙌🏻 looks good man.
Speedy recovery dude!
Hey love the videos man I just got my wisdom teeth out today and was excited to see you posted so that kinda made my day
Bro you just made my day to know that my video could make yours - speedy recovery man!
@@MichaelSabo hey I appreciate your response I’m feeling much better today.
Awesome dude, perfect timing with ur video..im just relaxing on my porch watching you build sick shit like always..mad skills Mike
It's gonna be sick!!! Nice work on the sleeve
Thank you Ben!
Hey man your videos and video quality is awesome it is like I am watching a tv special keep it up looking forward to your next one.
Dude, love these builds. Cool seeing the cylinder being pressed out.
Thank you for watching them man!
Best God dam dude on the internet people.. good good dude right here videos are of the most superb quality.. just unbelievable amount of time and work right here..
Dude you are awesome, funny sense of humour always make watchable!
Dude! This build is the sickest. Love the colour scheme. As a rebuilt 660 owner, I can appreciate it your build that much more. I would love to see that thing in person.
Best time of the day when sabo uploads a build series video🤟🏻
🤘🤘
Hey you're way more experienced than I am to be honest. But I wanted to say that when you put the shift pawls together you can ziptie it all together and Install it about halfway in. Then cut the zip tie. I'm sorry if you already knew this. But useful for someone either way.
Gonna look fabulous
Mike, first off your channel is first class. I am definitely going to rescue a sport quad when I get back states side. That being said, you made a comment that really hit home with me in this video. Which Sport Quad do you personally think has the best aftermarket support?
My interest generally lean towards the Banshee and Honda 250R. That being said I have zero experience with the new four stroke 450 crowd. Definitely not opposed to going the four stroke route, but my experience has been with the 2 strokes I mentioned earlier.
Thank you again for providing a great and motivational channel.
You do such a good job with these videos, idk why you don’t have more followers
My OCD Loves your attention to detail! Oh and your frustration
Always a pleasure even if it was a wait, it’s looking so sick!!!! I could only hope that one day somehow I could win one of your machines. I doubt I could afford it. Love the vids man! Keep ‘em coning!
Thank you John! There's always a chance for a give away win; these are definitely some pricey projects though; I hope one day you get yours 👊
Been waiting for this one! Already know it’s gonna be great 🤟🏼
Thank you Jacob!
Mikes new favorite word "TANG" 🏁😎
Awesome video as usual. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Thumbs up 😉
Good job bro she is going to look bad ass can't wait for the finished product
Thank you Dave 🤘
Hey man I just want to tell you how much I love you and your videos. Rock on bro 🤘🤘
Color scheme looking great
Thank you B Hoss!
gonna be the best looking raptor around!
That engine looks Sick !
Thank you James!
Ive waited so long for this!!!!
I appreciate you waiting bro!
Incredible work and patience! Your videos just seem to get better. Question, you mentioned in one of your videos about getting a outbuilding to have more space. Has your plans changed? Just imagine all the equipment and room you can have, not to mention freeing up your home appliances.
Hey Michael, I can't wait to see your next videos. You must be so busy with all the filming, editing, and living life. Just incredible.
Always a good day when mike uploads
Thank you for the support bro!
Thumbs up, Mike! Another entertaining video. Can't wait for the next one.
Thank you man!
Been stalking the insta waiting for this!!
Thank you for holding out bro!
Hey man great job with the videos and the builds can’t wait to see the end product of your yfz keep up the good work man
Thank you for the support man!
This is starting to look really good, that bronze colour is so good! 🔥
Thank you man, wait till you see it with the top end on!
This build has been my favorite color scheme so far, can't wait to see it all together 🔥🏍 Thank you for sharing your mechanical experience bro - learning how to do-it-yourself means you can pick up one of these older quads and fix them up. Bikes being crushed is a lazy if not vindictive move when they could be auction sold or stripped for parts. WE NEED A BETTER USED MARKET.
So wicked great job. Cant wait for the end.
Thank you Jake!
@@MichaelSabo your welcome man the way you go through everything is just awesome. Thats the way it should be done. No cutting corners getting it done right. 💯🤙
Hell yeah dude it's coming out killer. It's crazy how many similar things you did that I'm doing like the black and burnt bronze cerakote. I'm doing the same theme just the colors in different spots. Can't wait to see it when you finish.
Sounds like you've got great taste Jose! Good luck on your build too 🤘
Excellent video! It's a STI tap, witch stands for "Steel Thread Insert!"
Thank you for the tip man! 🤘
Been a long journey but it looks awesome so far!
Man graphics are so sick
thanks bro love the time you put into these! ur the man
Crushing all those qauds pisses me off too . And as always, your content is top notch🤙
Love your work so knowledgeable and your channel is awesome keep up the great work champion 🏆
Love the videos man! My DRZ has been sitting while I was overseas and I started tearing it down and tryin to get it back ripping.
Thank you man! Good luck with your DRZ
If you're willing to fully commit to a heli-coil to replace threads you can try tangless coils. Those will never back out but you only have one chance to get them in right after setting the biting portion. I put hundreds of them in aluminum so I wouldn't worry about that part though.
Bro I love this video, really the best building video. You say a lot of tips and stuff like that. ❤👏
Dude I love these videos I have learned soo much watching each one I learn something new on each stream.. keep up the good work bro...
Awesome to hear Eric! Thank you for watching 🤘
thst engine looks tuff .good job bro
I would love to see you do a 4x4 utility atv restoration 👌
I actually have that on my board for future builds - possibly in 2023
Quality videos man, good narration, good instructions, and good job showing every step even if you made a mistake. Awesome shit, genuine and honest vid.
Bro I live by Clymer manuals. Totally rebuilt the forks on my RM using one. Have one for every machine I own.
I think they're great man!
Longtime viewer first time commenting keep up the good work!
Love the content Mike! Keep it coming!
Thank you Evan!
My raptor 770cc with a plus 3mm intake valves and plus 2mm exhaust valves 105.5mm cylinder and pistona plus 5mm stroker crankshaft, EFI controller. 23x7 up front and 22 inch tall tires out Back. I also went as tall in the sprocket up front and smaller out back. Stage 3 cam, 11:1 compression piston so I can still use 91-93 octane. I will add a shot of amsoil octane booster to play it safe. At 75mph in 4th gear I can pull it up then shift into 5th and it's just stupid. A few other things are done as well 😅😂 great video btw....
Damn she’s looking beautiful 😍 I’m a raptor guy myself and watching your build is making me push with getting mine all built keep up the great work and push threw 😁
When I had to put a heli-coil in my swing arm I ended up having to use 11 coils cuz it kept skipping threads. When I saw you thread that in with ease i got a little jealous ngl
Hahaha maybe I got lucky man
@@MichaelSabo nah I'm pretty sure the set that I got were just bad quality cuz they were so cheap
once again another banger... good shit mike
Thank you Bro!
4days Late Watching This But Can't Wait To See The Full Build.
