Mike ur a badass with these machines man, it’s awesome! I bought a 02 660 in March and it needs attention. Finance’s got tough fight after so now I’m starring at it. It needs about 1,000 in parts. So ur builds give me inspiration in the mean time. Keep up the good work Mike👍 Do have a eBay page?

I don’t think he’s got the patience to deal with that! Lol however he’s basically teaching a huge class here on RUclips! I’m so stoked for him man, this year is his. His channel and views are finally blowing up and he deserves to finally start making some $$ for his passion and hard work

teaching in a class doesnt make much sense anymore, why teach to a small group of people for very little money, when you can impart your knowledge to millions and be compensated correctly, his knowledge will remain on youtube longer than any memory of a class, and the barrier to watch and learn is a lot less, he will also inspire more people into atv's, being a mechanic, or even just making youtube videos.

But I work hard pay my bills and save a Lil to get another bike.. 💯 have some tools and a garage. Just have to get a project... coming from Danville. IL thank you Mike

Another trick you can try for the liner is welding down the length of the liner bore in multiple spots. The weld shrinks the liner and makes removal much easier. It's somewhat commonplace when rebuilding industrial engines that use dry liners. Love the content man, I enjoy seeing you resurrect quads anyone else wouldn't take the time to even consider.

Hey Mike! Wow mate, it looks like heaven to have all the parts cleaned, painted & prepped ready to go, laid out on your bench like that! The colour schemes look fantastic, both engine & bodywork. The partly assembled engine looks absolutely beautiful! As I have said before - "It's bloke's bling!".
One thing though - I never actually saw you install the counter shaft oil seal you talked about. Did you forget? I hope not, but if so, here's your reminder ok?
I love the video Mike even though I have never owned an atv or motorcycle. Watching what you do makes me want to get into this sport/hobby/obsession, but I will just have to continue to be a keen & jealous spectator. Cheers.

I've also watched the Quadzilla, Trail and Play Banshee, and Grape Ape builds in the few days since subscribing. Taking a POS and turning it into something for everyone to be jealous of like you do is somehow... mesmerizing. But I have to say, during this build my OCD causes me a tremendous amount of anxiety every time is see the color difference between the green on the seat and the nerf bar nets! Having a background in law enforcement, the ones that are stolen and later recovered are returned to the owners prior to being crushed. That is if the owner provided the VIN number to police at the time of the theft report. When a stolen vehicle is recovered (given the VIN number is still intact) an officer will run the VIN number through NCIC which will inform the officer that the vehicle was stolen. At that point it is returned to the rightful owner.

My raptor 770cc with a plus 3mm intake valves and plus 2mm exhaust valves 105.5mm cylinder and pistona plus 5mm stroker crankshaft, EFI controller. 23x7 up front and 22 inch tall tires out Back. I also went as tall in the sprocket up front and smaller out back. Stage 3 cam, 11:1 compression piston so I can still use 91-93 octane. I will add a shot of amsoil octane booster to play it safe. At 75mph in 4th gear I can pull it up then shift into 5th and it's just stupid. A few other things are done as well 😅😂 great video btw....

  • @SG-Cichlids
    @SG-Cichlids 2 года назад

I had the two bolts on the intake cam gear on a rzr engine back out once. Wether it was because of the heavier springs put in or dirty threads who knows but you can imagine what happened to a newly fully built engine. Lucky I heard the ticking and shut it down and only bent the intake valves slightly. Replaced the valves and seats to be safe. Been running over 200hp at the wheel ever since with no problem. Anyhow what I'm saying I guess is extra lock tight.

Incredible work and patience! Your videos just seem to get better. Question, you mentioned in one of your videos about getting a outbuilding to have more space. Has your plans changed? Just imagine all the equipment and room you can have, not to mention freeing up your home appliances.

Hey Michael, I can't wait to see your next videos. You must be so busy with all the filming, editing, and living life. Just incredible.

If you're willing to fully commit to a heli-coil to replace threads you can try tangless coils. Those will never back out but you only have one chance to get them in right after setting the biting portion. I put hundreds of them in aluminum so I wouldn't worry about that part though.

Hey you're way more experienced than I am to be honest. But I wanted to say that when you put the shift pawls together you can ziptie it all together and Install it about halfway in. Then cut the zip tie. I'm sorry if you already knew this. But useful for someone either way.

Mike, first off your channel is first class. I am definitely going to rescue a sport quad when I get back states side. That being said, you made a comment that really hit home with me in this video. Which Sport Quad do you personally think has the best aftermarket support?
My interest generally lean towards the Banshee and Honda 250R. That being said I have zero experience with the new four stroke 450 crowd. Definitely not opposed to going the four stroke route, but my experience has been with the 2 strokes I mentioned earlier.
Thank you again for providing a great and motivational channel.

Yes with helicoil you have to use red locktit and the repair is stronger then the factory threads it can be used in any aluminum thread repair. It is made for aluminum thread repair. Some manufacturers use them from new.
