Yep. And any lawyer worth a penny will tell you that talking to the police aside from giving your name, age, address, ID, your lawyer's business card, etc. can only get you in more trouble. There are countless innocent people who have talked themselves into criminal charges. Often they're found not guilty in court. But still if you've just defended yourself against a would be murderer, you're already in enough trouble in the eyes of the police. And you don't wanna make your expensive criminal trial even more expensive than it has to be by making the police believe you've done a bunch of other illegal things. For example: "I've never done anything wrong! I'm innocent! I may have pirated some movies, but I'm no murderer!" See what you just did there? You admitted to engaging in piracy.

This prosecutor is so condescending! He has nothing or very little, and he knows it. Grabbing for anything! Wasn't the victim throwing cocktails, or something like that? That is a weapon. He was armed.

@@MHernandez012171 This should've been an open and shut case from the beginning. From what I remember from viewing the footage, The mob of rioters were pursuing Rittenhouse, and he was actively trying to evade them.when they caught up to him, Rosenbaum swung and hit him in the head with the skateboard and he went down at that point. When Grosskreuts charged him with his pistol and attempted to grab the rifle along with the other rioter, Rittenhouse opened fire killing Rosenbaum, the other rioter, and severely wounding Grosskreuts. If anyone should be on trial, it should be Grosskreuts, for possible property damage, and attempted theft and murder. This prosecutor is a joke, he should be disbarred from law and fined for his gross misconduct of political gain, and his past cases should be reviewed. I said this in another comment section, that this case should be a wake up call to the far left in that the law shouldn't be used as a political tool to gain a preferred result of a trial.
