- In this video we make a Sharpshooting Sniper build on Survival Difficulty. Played on the most recent version of Fallout 4 with all DLC installed. No mods were installed during the playthrough and the build was played entirely on Survival Difficulty.

The Last Minute Gauss Rifle -Best used for long range one shot potental
Old Reliable - Silenced best used when not detected
The Problem Solver - Best used once detected
If you are having trouble with water purifiers.
Make sure all your aid is moved into a separate container.
Water should spawn in the workbench around every 30 mins you spend away from Sanctuary so normally 1 or 2 missions and the water should spawn.
Also make sure all fillable items are removed from the junk tab, this includes nuka cola bottles, milk bottles, beer bottle etc. Sometimes this can effect water spawning.

For the people without DLC, you can go to vault 81 (in between diamond City and beantown brewery), you can find a vendor inside that sells a sniper called “overseers guardian” , similar to the old reliable, it has the same enchantment (fires an additional shot) and can be modified to be a sniper (it comes as somewhat automatic) and does plenty amount of damage. Hopes this helps those with no DLC! :>

If you’re looking for an early game suppressor, Trudy will always stock a suppressed pipe bolt action pistol at the start of the game. With sneak perks and upgrades it’s a decent weapon until you get your gun nut high enough to put suppressors on other guns or find them laying around.
Imagine this kind of content was posted on 2011, you will be god sir, keep it up, even though I'm not playing Skyrim anymore I still enjoy watching this builds. 👍
I hope you were talking about Skyrim since Fallout 4 did not exist for us until November 2015 so this content would have been useless in 2011.
This is great I've been wanting to playthrough Fallout 4 again and this gives me the perfect excuse since I never do these types of builds. Awesome job as always

This went so far from what I expected but was simply the greatest rifleman build I've ever seen.
its literally the only build in the game, pick rifle and sneak attack perk and use a scope so original LOL

I'd like to point out you can get a Hardened Sniper Rifle at level 1 from a Gunner checkpoint near Gorski Cabin :3 There's 2 Gunners on a fallen overpass - one will have the sniper rifle, the other will have a random weapon. There's also a turret and there's a patrol of 2 Gunners that walks between the checkpoint and the little base the Gunners have further up the overpass so watch out for them if you're wanting to grab the sweet sniper

You can pick off the Gunner from a far, save from any molotov
Not to mention you get access to an early laser sniper rifle there aswell
Now if you are ballsy enough go straight to Salem, kill the 3 mirelurk, get the Reba II by killing the crazy guy, at level 7 i got the Calibrated Powerful Receiver, the Polymer Body, the second best stock
F that sniper, was doing so good on my survival permadeath run and that guy one shotted me. Stared at the screen for a good minute.
To honor "Whayar Jugey", my black character, please always decapitate that sniper.
Finally a fallout 4 build! i loved watching these ever since fudgemuppet made them. glad to see someone else taking the reigns!
Just gonna point out that taking the reins is a 19th century phrase which is equivalent to saying "Taking the wheel (when driving)." Reins. You know, the leather leader-straps you hold when you're in the saddle or on the bench seat of a wagon.

If you never cleared the mole rat den under the Red Rocket, the green trunk near the water tower will always respawn back its item, usually a bottlecaps and modded armour or weapon, but don't fast travel from there or it will stop respawning. For survival player, the glowing fungus in front of the cave entrance also respawn when you left the area.
I’ve started playing fallout recently so it really helps to know where to get certain equipment or weapons.

Fallout 4 has some pretty weak options for explosives, so I'd love to see a viable Explosives build!

Head straight to Goodneighbor, meet Deacon in the Third Rail bar and agree to work for the Cabots; in their basement is a Fatman and mininuke the respawn any time you reload the cell, meaning you can dupe either as fast as you can fast-travel to Sanctuary and back. Sell your multiple Fatman copies, get/make some Grape Mentats and use Charisma gear to purchase Big Boy from Arturo and rain death down on everyone.
The explosives perk lets you do double damage for shooting up your own grenades and mines, so I've found a grenade build where you throw one in high and shoot it in VATS is very fun.

Why not just get 10 charisma, throw imaginary grenades, make explosion noises with your mouth, and run away from confused raiders on an invisible motorcycle? It worked for that one guy at least twice.

Where ymfah has the challenge runs and meme builds that look painful but are made to look entertaining, this guy does the simple and makes it grand in its execution. Just a build anyone can do, but you put the extra finesse in it.
This is supposed to be endearing, but my use of the english lexicon is sometimes askew.

9:50 - I'd just like to point out instead of waddling back you can get a companion (e.g. Dogmeat) to pick up the items. When dogmeat is full, drop items on ground or store in a dead body / container and tell dogmeat to pick it up. It will still pick up the items even though it is over the weight limit. That way you can teleport to base to store items easier instead of waddling back a long way.

Was about to start another Fallout 4 character, after getting bored of my level 90 melee ultra OP build. Frankly, now that I'm level 90, it is almost a jack of all trades build at that point.
Was going to do a sniper/chemist build, with a strong focus on early settlement building. I normally play nomadic initially, and then slowly get settlements going later on. I'm curious if this video gives me any good ideas about that.

Nice idea to use purified water as currency i usually use 38 ammo for that after picking up few wasteland merchant magazines and some charisma points
Loved your skyrim builds videos, they showed me that there was a lot more to the game that I haven't found despite having 1500 hours into the game, I can't wait to enjoy more of you build videos.

Just a tip. If you head to tenlines bluff and then head towards the skylines crash there's an unmarket gunner outpost on top of an over pass. There's a gunner hanging out on the first floor of the base just outside their scrap wall that has a guaranteed hardened hunting rifle spawn with long barrel and full stock. On the second floor of that base (you take an elevator up) there's also a guaranteed charging laser sniper rifle.
Love that the ymfah style of fallout videos is getting more popular. i feel like if the editing had been more crisp and the contents of the video were more structured it'd land perfectly. give it a year or two and this channel could pop off.
I think my favorite FO4 build was the Commando, playing like an 80's Action Hero. Heavy focus on automatic weapons, running and gunning, and chucking grenades. SPECIAL layout: S - 3, P - 4, E - 3, C - 3, I - 6, A - 6, L - 3. You can put the You're SPECIAL book into anything you want, although I might recommend endurance just because the playstyle will have you in harms way a lot. Also unlike rifleman, the commando perk works with pistols as long as they're modded to be automatic, so you can take advantage of the perk as soon as you reach Sanctuary out of the Vault by modding your starting 10mm.

You can find a guaranteed sniper rifle (hardened, I think) at the Red Rocket on the north end of Lexington, on the rooftop (of course). It's the Red Rocket in Lexington north of College Square & south of Mystic Pines, not the Red Rocket nearest the Slocum's Joe & Super Duper Mart. Not sure if that is considered Cambridge or Lexington, but confusion is what you get when you cross a street and say you're in a new town.
If you don't want to trek to Far Harbor early in the game, there is always Overseer's Guardian at Vault 88. A two-shot combat rifle can make a decent sniper rifle & you can upgrade it to .308 ammo instead of relying on 7.62 rounds from Nuka World or .45-70s from Far Harbor.
Awesome video... First time playing fallout 4 and followed this on survival mode.. Helped me out so much.. Now i am surviving in the wasteland and exploring as an OP sniper. Thanks for showing the chems usage and places to get ammo. Love your skyrim videos too!

It is always cool to see a build, even if the video is 2 years old already. Having tried various builds, I can say the the most fun are explosive (legendary effect) minigun or gatling laser + power armor or melee + power armor. I am currently about to finish a game in the latter and it is so overpowered that you can walk and face a behemoth as if it were a common raider. I have been using Atom's Judgement from Far Harbor which with all power ups and perks does something like 250 melee, 50 electrical and 250 radiation, I do not have the stats right now, but you can kill a deathclaw with one swing. This sniper build it is cool but I find that since you have power armor from early on, stealth builds are really not necessary.
