Glad it worked out but that carb is for the vertical shaft motors not the horizontal. That's why the bowl drain was different. Also the pre-filter likely isn't needed since it's not a lawn mower. During reassembly, you installed the choke lever upside-down and the throttle rod goes through the center of the throttle spring. Last but most important, #1 rule of pressure washer is you don't leave the pressure washer running when you're not using it. You'll overheat the pump if you leave it running without spraying water for 1-2 minutes.
My honda pw is 18 yrs old just bought 3 of those carbs and fuel pump had to remove spring around black plastic lever it was hindering the choke used it today runs like new
I have the same pressure washer. I bought it at Costco back around 1995. I overhauled my carburetor with parts from one I bought on Amazon rather than replace the original all together. I was afraid the after market part was not as good as the original . I’m on my 3 rd pump.
Almost 30 y/o so it doesn’t owe me anything. Sounds like yours has done well by you since you got it at auction for $10-$20. I can’t remember how much mine was new.

Thanks. I’ve had my pressure washer that is exactly like the one he’s repairing since brand new. I think I bought it in 1995.
Just followed this video and had no problem whatsoever replacing the carburetor. Many thanks for posting this.
