I HAVE THIS same carburetor on an older Honda 6.5 HP lawn mower engine. YOU, sir, are the best in explaining the gasket deformity problems, cable/throttle linkage, reassembly sequence. (got this mower for free from a past owner... many botched repair changes in reassembly ! ) I have watched 10 RUclips videos by true idiot amateurs. YOURS is ... good, steady, clear camera, good explanation, good ENGLISH amigo !! I am an excellent car mechanic, but couldn't handle the one cylinder Honda carb problems until I watched this!! Contact me for your questions on 16th century Spanish history? ha ha ha..... Trevor.

Very professional in a laid back, down home kinda way. Informative, hands on, presentation that people of any aptitude level can comprehend and follow. No mismatched music or unnecessary conversation thats irrelevant to the subject matter. Will be back to watch more as long as you keep it alive. Thank you .

I like using headless bolts for disassembly because everything stays in the correct order. Without them, when you remove the bolts, things can go everywhere before you got a chance to see what the correct order was.

I love that you thoroughly explained everything. I'm a firm believer that when trying to fix stuff it really helps if you understand how it works.

Thanks for the vid - 2 yrs later your still helping folks. Bought cheap carb for yard man mower being donated to a needy family -- couldn’t figure out the gasket sequence.

Thanks Jeremy this is excellent. Got my GCV135 up and running yesterday with a replacement carb and now it idles perfectly. Absolutely what I needed.

Very nice job. I use two chop sticks or small wooden dowels to put all of the parts on and then when I put it up to the block, I pull one at a time and install the bolts. Great video, Thanks

Really appreciate this info on the video. I bought a used push mower with one of these carburetors and it wasn't running great. After watching your video I realized my carb components weren't even assembled properly. I ordered a new carb and gaskets and now it purrs. Thank you!

In the past I have been one of those who put in studs to place the gaskets in sequence … then remove the studs and replace with the bolts. This time I tried it your way. I agree with you it’s the best way to go and really isn’t that difficult. Thx for the video

Thank you so much for making this video! I have that exact same pressure washer and I had let it sit for a long time so last year I cleaned the carb because it wouldn’t start. After I put it back together it was pouring gas out of the breather opening or somewhere around there. Sure enough when I took it apart I found that those vent ports were blocked. It runs like a scalded dog now though! Thanks again!

Thanks Jeremy. Well I am one of those guys that uses bolts to line up the carb gasket pile. Too each his own. But you do a lot more of these than me. I might do about 1 a week. I have learned so much from you thanks man. BTW nice tach. Mine is a laser. I liked the video

It's nice to see someone that knows what he's doing working on a carb...just yanked a carb off to clean it and the lack of a gasket or 2 blew my mind. Good note on the atmospheric vent...my spacer was pretty clogged with debris. The float valve was also oddly not attached to the float. Not sure who had it cracked open last but....wow!

Thanks. I have the same power washer and it's been apart for a few months. Getting parts needed. Parts diagram does not pin point how you showed it. Thanks again for the video.

Another great video with lots of good tips. The only bad thing is that it was not my pressure washer. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this video. The unmarked package full of different color and material gaskets was a head scratcher for me! You’re video made it easy. If only I knew my fuel hose was going to crack and crumble along the way. Working on a project to restore an inherited SDS 216 mower (I’m not sure if ever there was a filthier carb than it)

I just did this to a lawn mower I found that the air filter box the shroud on the back side if you cut that off it exposes the carb, and is much easier to see everything and be able to make adjustments to the RPM screw possible now.jim
