    I use to do this when I did wear braids. I hated having to get it redid... I'd keep mine for a yr doing this. My hair is mid back now from a bob cut. Low maintenance styles grow my hair so fast!

      This is so amazing. I’m going to wear mine as long as I can. My knotless braids have only been up three weeks, but my hair grows out quick in braids. Just did my first method like this yesterday. I’m about two weeks I’ll do it again. ❤❤❤❤😅

Everyone has always just chunked my hair growth to it just being genes but my cousin STRUGGLED for yrs & finally her hair got mid-back earlier this yr due to her doing braids like that. But she didn't listen when I told her lay-off the heat & she just had to cut it all back off this month!

    Basically do a retwist on your knotless braids. Got it! I like that you didn’t add product. That’s really important. Oil is all you need.

      How was the take down process?? I'm about to get small knotless but I plan on leaving them in for 2-2 1/2 months but I'm scared it will tangle my hair🤦🏽‍♀️😭

      @@c.noelle1662 remember which way way you twisted and don’t wet your hair. When you take it down use your fingers to pull your hair apart from the buildup 💕

    Love this ty. I help a friend do her hair and never could figure out a good way to help her refresh it between appointments or me doing it. We tried just gel and smoothing it down and that wasn't cutting it, but I think this will work for her because twists do great in her hair. Ty ty ty!

    This is interesting. My hair naturally twist when growth comes in while my hair is in (extension) braids. Unfortunately, when it does this it causes tension. I have to take braids down when it reaches this stage because my hair will break.

      I personally never experienced locing. I also wash my scalp every week so it loosens up every week as well

      I wear my hair in a half up style. Once you use this method. You can’t wear your hair down and loose

    Will this work for mixed hair. All 3 of my kids have different textures but my son and oldest daughter are the ones I put the braids in. My sons braids last a day and then it’s frizzy or like it’s been in for a week. I use shea products.

      I prefer the oil I’m using. Mousse may cause the hair to stick and matt

      Hmm never tried it before. But it will only work if you plan to wear your hair in a bun, ponytail or half up half down style. Large braids would easily unravel from the twists

      You need to style your hair afterwards so it doesn’t untwist. Example. I do a half up half down style.
