    I recommend removing the water, heating it, putting the leaves in conditioner in the container first, then adding the hot/warm water to help the product dissolve better. The warm water will also help to open the cuticles of your low porosity hair.

    • @aliyahturner2169
      @aliyahturner2169 2 года назад +4

      I would also recommend tying your hair in a bun and using a plastic bag like a shower cap. Same effect you were talking about with your scarf while removing/absorbing little to no water and product.

Anyway I had never used the brand of hair used so after 3 days my scalp was very itchy my goodness horrible. So I investigated and found out that I may be having an allergic reaction to the hair. Did not know about about pre-wash it with vinegar. Anyway after doin a full wash there was a lot of frizz ( my own hairs) anyway I came here to see how to fix it, since my style is less than 1 week old. This video was a blessing. Thank u.

    I use these wipes called TressClean. It's wipes embedded with lots of nutrients (biotin, aloe, seamoss, vitamins, essential oils, ACV, different hair oils, etc. I use it the same way she used the cotton pad with water to remove buildup. You can also use the wips to rehydrate your hair instead of (or in addition to) leave in conditioner.

    One thing they don’t tell you is that your hair will start locking and it’s harder when taking them down 🤨 However, her hair looks beautiful 😊

    I had my first ones for a month and a half. Now I have my second set a lil bigger almost a month. Key.. you must tie them up EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! Don’t lay down on your head unless TIED UP!!!!!!, and they will last trust me

    I so love your videos. I'm not natural but I use some of your styles and techniques on my relaxed hair. I'm about to get box braids and this is on point for maintenance

    Glad I stumbled on this video. Been thinking of how to keep the braids on me till end of the month since it's just 3 weeks and I want to run it for 6 weeks. Thanks 👍
