I had a very educational time with Mitchel Yardley @MitchelYardley
Miata is often used on car jokes, but we all know their capabilities. Mitchel is a true Mazda enthusiast with experience in variety of NA/NB/NC Miata Chassis. He joined today to tell us about his car journey and share his knowledge in achieving (amazing) 1:56 lap time at buttonwillow. I foresee Michel breaking his PB (Personal Best) in near future with few more upgrade parts that were fitted recently. I hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I have!

I did the same thing basically. Started off with a 06 Silverado 2 door. Sold it. Was looking for a fun car that’s decent on gas due to the gas prices. Test drove a nc Miata and fell in love with the platform. Not even a month later I got my own. Not looking back. But definitely want another Silverado one day.
Haha, Silverado to Miata must be more common transformation! Is it also tracked?

NC is the best gen... With a 2.5 they are just fantastic 👌
I found the ND to feel too wimsy and digital in comparison, and the NA/NB are too old + chassis' don't feel rigid enough.

Youll get much better pedal feel on your brakes by using RBF600. The 660 trades off pedal feel for the extra heat ceiling...600 is plenty good enough.
