Can you tell me about your Eibach coil over conversion? Where did you get it? I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with air ride and am having all kinds of problems.
I have 2.6" Bilstein Coilovers on my fronts and lifted Bilstein dual rate rear springs w/Bilstein rear shocks. Truck rides so buttery smooth and takes hard hits like a champ. Road feedback is superior to stock suspension. No float, and no nosedive. 2019' RAM 1500 Laramie fully loaded. Best truck or vehicle I've ever owned; hands down.
Oh man.. I was just thinking about your truck the other day. Been looking at the Eibach Air Delete kit this week and have it in my cart. Kept debating on changing now or later. A big part of me was like “well if Justin has had his Ram this long and this many miles… I could probably just get the most out of what I got.” Glad you are testing this out. Will make it a lot easier of a choice when I do switch.
That’s funny. Seems like a lot of folks are on the fence. I will say the factory set up CAN handle a lot of abuse. But it definitely won’t last forever.
Awesome, I have been enjoying your journey with your 19 RAM. Mine us currently at 67,000. I've been adding things to it as it ages, lol. Give me justification when something goes out/breaks. Keep them coming sir!!!
Nice to see you again Justin. Watched this video before work this morning. Definitely the best way to go. Really want to see the video of replacing the suspension. Curious as to how it all turned out and ease of installation, front and rear. Take care my friend.
I'm not a Ram Fanboi. Being said that girl has served you well and it's time to start planning for a replacement. Her downtime due to maintenance and repair will only increase.
That's not true a new truck will cost way more than any repair. Mileage is just a number if you maintain it. My rams have way more miles than this. Original powertrain just change Fluids and replaced water pump and exhaust manifolds.
@@OriginalYTBR if you read my post, I didn't say anything about cost of new vehicle. I said this point forward the repairs, maintenance, and time down for repairs will only increase. Mileage isn't just a number of components such as arms, ball joints, axles, all the electrical systems, modules, and even the seats wear out from use. One only needs to be stranded once in an unfortunate circumstance to determine a high mileage vehicle isn't worth keeping for daily use.
Sometimes in the winter my air suspension will not raise as well. Probably going to buy this kit for next winter and hope I can find a shop to do the work, not confident enough to do it myself.
Man, I appreciate all these videos. I just recently purchased a 2021 1500 limited ecodiesel with 30k miles on it this week. I was able to get an extended bumper to bumper warranty so hoping all goes well.
You can still get a lift with the air suspension. 250,000 miles, u got your money's worth out of it. Normally you replace shocks at 50,000 but now we know how far air suspension can go. I DONT drive my 22 ram alot but looks like maybe by 8th or 9th yr i would need to replace all air suspension shocks and we all know that can be expensive. My 09 ram still running like new and still looks new at 230,000 miles for a 15yr old truck. Been having it since new
Truck central, I’ve been waiting on this. I’ve had problems with my air ride for 20k+ miles, and always wanted an alternative but couldn’t find it. Luckily my air ride is working 100% again, although it cost me around ironically “1500” dollars.
I just want to tell you, sir I always like your videos man you do a lot for us with these kind of videos so we can know what’s gonna happen to our trucks. Thank you. Keep them coming.Lol
Justin, you're the man sir. The old girl is giving up the ghost. But she's still sexy. Damn near 250k, she's been amazing. Great content, continued success.
Right here with you same issue on my 2017 ram it usually says air suspension immediate repair but I’m probably going to go with that air suspension delete
I have a 2013 ram with 90k original miles. I bought it 4 months ago with only 87k miles. It’s a Laramie longhorn with coil spring suspension. I’m honestly very happy that it does not have the air bags. They ride amazing but when they go out they’re painful.
I live in Korean and 2019 Ram 1500 rebel owner.... My 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel’s air suspension is also experiencing the same issue. The compressor keeps running. It seems there is no solution
Hi there, I need help. I just bought a used 2019 ram hemi with 57k miles on it. Now i have no idea about trucks at all. Only that they are big. Now did i made the right choice purchasing this truck?
I have the same issue when I’m driving out parking lot at around 7-10 miles the car kinda throw itself very hard forward and when I slow down same thing but ram dealership couldn’t figure it out
Air ride suspension will always be a cost. Don't own a Ram 1500 but have a Avalanche LTZ. Air ride is nice if you seldomly tow, mainly drive it as a family go-getter or road trip vehicle. To daily it hard and as a work truck, it's not going to last. Saving yourself a lot of money going back to conventional.
That happened to my 2019 ram pick up truck limited and it was Lincoln water in the front and I wasn’t even off roadie lol and I forgot I only had 30,000 miles on that vehicle truck
I would never get air suspension again on a 3500.. not because of any issues or failures but the standard suspension is way more comfortable, loaded and unloaded
i really don't understand why its such a miracle this dodge is still working, Ford Crown victorias, lincoln town cars from years ago are still better built, lasting alot longer than this Dodge. it's really not impressive till it hits 350,000 miles, then you might have a new subscriber. its a 2019 i mean comon be real its not that impressive at all.

Waiting for transmission oil test
Yep I'm waiting. 😂
Still waiting for transmission oil test 😅
Just had the same issue. 2 leaky bags and seized compressor. I just did the Eibach coil over conversion. Its outstanding

Sorry about your circumstances. This makes me glad that I opted to get the old fashioned springs/billstein shocks on my 19 RAM.
Well, at 249k miles those billstein shocks will be needing a replacement as well…he also drives on rocky roads alot.
@@neverendingmeditation6320it’s a whole lot easier replacing shocks than it is all that air stuff.

Thanks Jim! Install wasn’t too bad actually. That video will be coming out shortly.
Just out of curiosity how is your AC hack holding up? Any issues or concerns?

It’s not too bad of a process. But if you have a good shop, it’s probably not too expensive to have them do it.

yeah it's a dodge, you def need a extended warranty

I feel your pain, my 2014 1500 Longhorn went through 2 air pumps within the 1st 55,000 miles. 1 under warranty, and 1 on me.
I just want to tell you, sir I always like your videos man you do a lot for us with these kind of videos so we can know what’s gonna happen to our trucks. Thank you. Keep them coming.Lol
19 RAM owner too. Very appreciative of your vids. Great stuff.
As long as the engine is still going I’d replace the airbags

Thinking about getting the longhorn trim, can get all the fancy options of the limited, but without the air suspension
What tires are you running there? They look slick.

I know which choice Project Farm would choose... Fix it ;)
Right here with you same issue on my 2017 ram it usually says air suspension immediate repair but I’m probably going to go with that air suspension delete
Called it on last short!! Coil springs.
Yep you sure did. Lol
bout time you uploaded another video my guy
Been busy filming! Bunch of videos coming. 😅
I would put the non air suspension in

Hi there,
I need help. I just bought a used 2019 ram hemi with 57k miles on it. Now i have no idea about trucks at all. Only that they are big. Now did i made the right choice purchasing this truck?
Does your truck do that slight bump from 2nd to 1st gear when coming to a stop? As well as slight bump from taking off from a complete stop?
I have a 16 and mine does that
Driveshaft. Mine does it and they replaced the driveshaft and 4K miles later it’s back!
I have the same issue when I’m driving out parking lot at around 7-10 miles the car kinda throw itself very hard forward and when I slow down same thing but ram dealership couldn’t figure it out
what tires are you running?
How does she feel compared to the air ride?
Honestly, it’s pretty comparable. It definitely doesn’t feel “noticeable worse” like I had been expecting.
How would I know if my air suspended isn't working? I have warning lights on. I just dont hear it when i turn off truck.
Air ride suspension will always be a cost. Don't own a Ram 1500 but have a Avalanche LTZ. Air ride is nice if you seldomly tow, mainly drive it as a family go-getter or road trip vehicle. Didn't you check a Wrecker Justin?
Im going through this now
Haha just delete it bro keep your rig. It rides damn good without it and relieves you of all the stress that comes with that damn air suspension
That happened to my 2019 ram pick up truck limited and it was Lincoln water in the front and I wasn’t even off roadie lol and I forgot I only had 30,000 miles on that vehicle truck
Thats exactly why i didn't go for air ride.
Why why why do people buy this the more features the more to break come on man
I would never get air suspension again on a 3500.. not because of any issues or failures but the standard suspension is way more comfortable, loaded and unloaded
