  • Welcome to the reality of startup life. Yeah, days around here don't start with a slow sunrise and birds chirping. The hustle never ends: it's chaos from the moment we wake up, with new fires to put out every day.

What a great video. The fact that 2 years ago there was no SWI in Florida to what it is today is incredible. Mark it was a pleasure to meet you at Fence tech last month. Keep on keeping on my friend- Kevin from Landmark Creations

Great video Mark, shows real life as a business owner, I feel your pain........I had 35 people under me in a previous career in Oil & Gas and it was hellish....I am much happier now being a one man band, but I still get the itch to scale my small fence business. Watching your videos just reminds me not to do it 😂 Wishing you guys all the very best and keep the videos coming - fantastic content mate !

Staying small carries its own risk.....when you stop work the income is gone.

A real video no cool aid. Most folks don't have a clue what goes on behind the scene to get stuff done. Sometimes we need coffee with prozac in it when stuff hits the fan . Sorry you lost 20 bucks make him buy you lunch. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride & enjoy your Saturday hopeful no rain 🤞!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heck I almost went to Tulsa welding school back when I first graduated. After working in the welding industry and going to school you learn classroom taught people graduate wether they can weld or not. They can be the worst welder but completed all the shop time.

It’s a joke of a school. What they do should be criminal.

This video is so legit and authentic. No one understands the behind the scenes of contractor, or heck, any business in general. I’m a landscape contractor in the Los Angeles area and man, I’m at this stage right now. Scaling to about 14 employees now and it’s a rollercoaster of emotions.

Great job Mark, Tanya and team, you guys have grown the location in Florida so much it’s incredible. I can totally feel you the stress can be a lot but you handle it well with everything you have going on. Always putting out the 🔥
Lesson learned Never hire from Tulsa welding school if looking for skill 😂

I couldn't believe the turn them out without skills to weld mig!

There is so many schools and training courses that just steals people’s money without giving useful skills and keep getting away with it. But best way to combat that like you are doing is informing everyone 👍

3:11 here in Wyoming half a tank of fuel is basically empty. why not fuel on the way back to the shop? fresh start everyday.

I'd rather they filled up closer to empty to avoid wasted trip to the station.

Did you experience the same kind of stress in WY, or are there many more moving pets and pieces this go round? I’m a contractor in FL with past work in TX…I think this state comes with different kinds of stress built in. Opportunities all around but stress galore! People…

Soooo different. The skilled labor market is a large part of that. I think that is a rural vs urban market thing though.
