Back in 2016, everyone really liked this ending. T’Challa gets his own kingdom, Peter gets his own teaser for his reboot movie and Bucky gets to be put away until we need him again. 2/3 happy endings indeed.
T'Challa was the epitome of cool in this movie. I count myself lucky to have not known about BLack Panther at all when watching this - he was already a cool enough character without that persona, and somehow he just kept getting cooler as the movie went on!
This clip shows how much more mature T'challa is compared to Tony. He understand Bucky is just as much a victim as the people he killed and he loved his father, he was out for revenge, but then he found the truth and he was able to make a judgment call. That being said, if I was in their shoes I would love to take the kings approach, but I would probably take the entitled egocentric manchild approach.
The thing is, Zemo are the one who bombing the place but framing Bucky for it. Tony's case on the other hand his family was killed by Bucky when he was the winter soldier, so Bucky technical still the one who murdered the Stark family.

I still don't really get why the black panther was fighting against captain America and then decided to help the person that he was trying to kill or capture
Initially T’Challa thought Bucky was the one who blew up the UN and killed King T’Chaka so he spent most of the time after that trying to capture and kill Bucky while also fighting Cap and his group. However in the back part of the third act after arriving at the Hydra Siberian facility he spies on the trio confronting Helmut Zemo and realized that Zemo was the true killer of his father, and thus abandoned his plans to kill Bucky and instead apprehend Zemo. From there T’Challa apologizes to Barnes and offers him asylum in Wakanda.
I remember when I heard “Let them try” at the theater.... I almost lost my mind... RIP Chadwick, thank you for inspiring us
