    I find it funny how as soon as a black man catches up to or surpasses Rocky Marciano's BS 49 & 0 record, yes I called it BS because he fought his own brother and he lost fighting under a different name) that all of a sudden they start saying stuff like what Max is saying (Julio Cesar Chavez was 87-0 but they weren't saying this when Marciano had the record even though technically he didn't.
    You never heard of anyone challenging Marciano's mythical record (and yes it is definitely a MYTH) and now they're so quick to come out of the closet and challenge Mayweather's record.
    Yet Chavez Senior beat 77 BUMS (nobody knows any of his opponents in those 77 or so bouts (maybe even more) without going to BoxRec or Google to figure who it is he beat and what those fighters he beat went on to do in the sport of boxing.
    We can see who Floyd beat, more than half of them were Champions and quite a few of them are still in the sport or done well (being Champs) and many of them will end up in the Hall of Fame.
    Tell me how many fighters out of those 87 or so that Chavez Sr fought will be in the Hall of Fame without going to Google or BoxRec???
    Max is an HBO (Hate Bruthas Only) guy so of course he is here to diminish the accomplishments of Mayweather in any way he can, he's just doing his job as their Slave but even he knows that Floyd surpassing Marciano's garbage record is head and shoulders above anyone in the sport, why else would they make such a big deal about it when it was Marciano if it wasn't but now that Floyd has passed it they're looking for any excuse to keep their object of White Superiority over this sport.

      mayweather added 1 win by fighting mcgregor , a boxing nobody and a debutante .
      .
      mayweather fought berto instead of a stronger fighter like amir khan, shawn porter, or timothy bradley just for the sake of an easier win to tie up rocky marciano's record, also for easier money, and more champions defeated.
      .
      mayweather fought a clearly less experienced alvarez (NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY CANELO WAS STILL BUDDING UP) because once canelo gets stronger he will be too tough for him, so beating him before he reach his prime is a smart tactical more to diminish a possible tough fight in the future as he now has an alibi that he already defeated him .
      .
      and you are saying that floyd's 50-0 career is better than marciano's when he himself has obviously cherrypicked his way to 23 champions defeated and 50-0-0?!.
      .
      WORST, YOU HAVE TO PULL UP THE "HE IS HATED CUZ HE'S BLACK" TRUMP CARD ON A BOXING DISCUSSION! THAT IS CALLED REVERSE RACISM! YOU ALLEGED PEOPLE TO BE RACIST MAKING YOU YOURSELF RACIST! THE MOMENT YOU BRING UP SKIN COLOR IN A DISCUSSION THAT IS NOT POLITICAL IS RACIST! YOU CROSSED THE LINE BUDDY!
      .
      YOU ARE BEING RACIST TO ROCKY MARCIANO, TO MAX KELLERMAN, AND TO ANY NON-BLACK PEOPLE WHO BELIEVES THAT FLOYD IS NOT THE TBE . BLACK LIVES MATTER MY ASS!

    • @AWesker99
      @AWesker99 3 года назад

      @@jrcuartz1829 You can't cherrypick 23 champions. It's always some kind of excuse to diminish Mayweather's legacy but you clowns don't apply it to Marciano. Why? Because you don't know shit about him or his resume. He fought mostly bums and he definitely cherry picked older champions. Ezzard Charles, Jersey Joe Wolcott and Joe Louis were old as f*ck when he fought them. Floyd has beaten more elite hall of fame boxers than champs that Marciano beat. He's nowhere close to Mayweather's legacy. Floyd would still have the best resume of all time even with a few losses. The 50-0 is just a cherry on top 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    • @jrcuartz1829
      @jrcuartz1829 3 года назад +1

      @@AWesker99 ok first of all that 50-0-0 is cherrypicked.
      1.) Cherrypicked a past prime pacquiao
      2.) Cherrypicked a pre prime canelo
      3.) Cherrypicked B fighter berto for 49th win
      4.) Cherrypicked boxing debutante mcgregor for 50th win.
      5.) Now cherrypicking another boxing nobody paul for 51st win to tie up another win-loss record of 51-0.
      Champions sure. You cant cherrypick. You cant even say cherrypicked a weak fighter so still giving props to B champ berto. But to surpass a long held record by winning against an entry level boxer at this point of his career is just shameful. Why not fight crawford or spence? A rematch with the uninjured pacquiao or vastly improved canelo? Why not fight the most dangerous oppositions you could ever face even at advanced age, past prime?
      Records are records. Ok sure he got the W on paper even if he lost to castillo and pacquiao. Sure. Paper wins. Sure 22 champions defeated. The current boxing GOAT has 21. But you can nvr deny the fact that he cherrypicked his legacy in the end . He did. You cant deny that. You are a flomosexual if you do. 50th win against mcgregor??? His soon 51st against paul? Shameful.

    Floyd cannot be compared to Ray Robinson, Ali, Leonard etc..as Floyd didn't fight everybody and anyone, he fights guys who are over the hill, closer to his age, or guys like Canelo who had no business being in the ring with Floyd as his resume was very poor ( Rhodes, Hatton, Lopez etc..) coming into the bout and the Trout fight was very controversial. Pacman reminds Ali of himself as he fought everyone and anyone which is not surprising Ali is picking Pacquiao to win.

    • @JJohnson313
      @JJohnson313 9 лет назад +1

      Nabz mo Do you know who was fighting when Ray Robinson was fighting? Do you know that all the fights he has was against the best out? I dont. Im not old enough to know. I suspect you dont know either and have just been told he was the best fighter. Ive seen tape. I cant say he was the best cause thats not my era. I have no clue who he was fighting in the fights i saw and if someone else was "calling him out" at the time.

    • @nabzmo7931
      @nabzmo7931 9 лет назад

      J Johnson Are you comparing Mayweather to Ray Robinson? HAHAHHAAH, Floyd has cherry picked fighters to suit his style, you ever think Floyd will pick a slick boxer that won't come forward? Floyd likes that relentless pressure which Floyd likes because he's a counter puncher. The two Maidana fights said everything I needed to know, the guy is a cherry picker and a fraud. I know Floyd will pick off Pacman and cruse to a victory, Pacman doesn't have the boxing skills or the smarts to deal with Floyd.

    • @JJohnson313
      @JJohnson313 9 лет назад +1

      Nabz mo What I am saying is that I was not around for Ray Robinson's career and I don't think you were either. I was pointing out your initial post sounded as if you were there and it was first hand knowledge. All in all you were told he was the best and that's why you hold that opinion. My observation was simply that there are a lot of fight fans that hold beliefs that are not their own and can only be supported by what someone told them and not what they saw. Never saw live fights of Ray Robinson so I cant objectively come to an opinion. I think most people, such as yourself, should adopt that same philosophy and speak about what you know and not what you heard or was told.

    The most egregious example of a top-flight boxer ducking a worthy challenger happened more than six decades ago, when the one and only Sugar Ray Robinson somehow managed to avoid fighting a contender named Charley Burley.
    Robinson wasn't alone in wanting no part of Burley. Marcel Cerdan and Jake LaMotta, middleweights like Robinson, as well as Billy Conn, the Pittsburgh light heavyweight who came within six minutes of dethroning Joe Louis, also found ways to cross to the other side of the street when they saw Burley coming.
    And it was no surprise. No less an authority than Eddie Futch, who trained four of the five men who beat Muhammad Ali, called Burley "the greatest fighter I have ever seen.
    - Wallace Matthews, ESPNNewYork
    Funny how people keep speaking on eras they werent around to watch. You guys have no idea who your beloved fighters "ducked" while you are saying they are the best.

      Owen fox - Conscious, Healthy, Happy Living I wonder who are these fighters you are talking about when you say Pacquiao fought everybody. There's literally no fighter that should be compared to Floyd because Floyd started fighting world class fighters at age of nineteen and you telling me about Pacquiao a guy that started fighting top fighters around his 30+ fight. Pacquiao fought great fighters when they should have retired already. Who are these fighters you guys are talking about Morales and barrera? come on. Pacquiao actually have not beat a top class fighter at their comfortable weight, only Clottey that he beat and there are rumours about that fight i don't know whether they are true or not but i'm giving Pacquiao credit for that win. look he just had a 2 close fights with bradley. Now there are real figthers out there he can prove himself, why not take Khan, Kell Brook, Thurman etc, why is he deciding to go to 140 to fight lower fighters even at 140? ha? one thing you have to know real boxing experts and true boxing fans know the deal, even though they might talk ish about Floyd, ask yourself why Floyd is being compared to great fighters not Pacquiao then along those lines you will find the answers.

    the funniest thing about the so called Floyd ducked that guy or that guy is that (e.g) when he fought JMM, they were saying why doesn't he fight Mosley? then he fought and beat Mosley and they say Mosley was way past his prime(Mosley with two KOs just before Floyd's fight). Before he fought Judah, they were saying why doesn't he fight Baldomir? then he fought him, now is he should have fought Magarito. Floyd actually never ducked Magarito, Floyd wanted Cotto in 2006 but Arum couldn't give him that fight because Cotto was a better draw than Floyd at the time and instead offered him Magarito but Floyd wanted a guarantee that he was gonna get Cotto after Magarito but Arum refused that, that's why Floyd actually moved to GBP. BTW, Floyd's critics say Floyd like to fight flat footed guys who just come at him and Magarito is that kinda guy, so why would Floyd duck him anyway?

He called out all these guys and koyztsu didn't really want to fight Floyd, Mosley and Cotto didn't want to fight Floyd until after Floyd became a cash cow, Manny turned down 2 fights and Margarito got knocked out. Why would you fight someone who got knocked out? What do you gain for that? But he gives credit to Pacquiao fighting guys after Mayweather at lighter weights.

    Max Kellerman is knowledgeable in boxing, but I would argue that there was no winner in the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight because rules were broken before that fight took place...the fight should be rendered null and void. Independent of that, pacquiao won by just using the slow motion version of the fight (even just viewing it at o.5 times the regular speed)...eyes can be wrong many times especially when a punch is so fast!

    To really count the true numbers of winning, you have to ake the loss and minus the winnings. That would be the total count of winning. If a boxer had won 50 times and lost 0 cannot compare to someone who had won 60 time with 5 loss because it is the same as winning 55 times with 0 loss.

    Ray Robinson was a 147Ibs pounder and went up and fought the Light Heavyweight lineal Champion, which fighter does that these days?..None, Ray Robinson had a heart of a lion and what is known as the LEGENDARY CHAMPION. Ali, Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Louis etc.. are leagues above Mayweather. Floyd cherry picked Canelo, Guerrero and the two Maidana fights were a joke and proves that he's a cherry picker.
