I never leave those labels on the NVMe SSD, it's going to transfer heat away a lot better without that label between the heatsink and the chips my dude! Make sure the thermal pad is contacting the chips directly for maximum cooling and heat transform to the aluminum heat sink

I'm surprised to see you guys reccomend not only 16gb of ram for a 1440p $1000 system, but a 7600 non xt?? this build makes no sense for a $1000 system... this is like $700 worth of performance at best, and will need to be upgraded immediately. here is what I would build instead. you get a very capable 5600x, wifi b550 mobo, better cooler, 32 GB of ram, an actually good power supply, and the proper amount of budget allocated to the GPU, a 7700xt. This is an amazing $1000 1440p build that I would highly reccomend over the one depicted in the video. Am5 is just not cheap enough yet for anything under about $1200 to be worthwhile. Would love one see a more relatable build where you buy parts of FB marketplace and overclock the gpu like us average people’s. Maybe a little gpu custom paint and case mods too. Where have the classic YT Channels gone 😢
Question: How could the heatsink for the M.2 work with that label in the way, and if the chips don't make good direct contact with the thermal pad?? You're not the first RUclips builder I've seen do this and to me that should be common sense. FOLKS YOUR M.2 heatsink won't work if the label is left on the M.2 and those chips aren't making good direct contact with the heartsink's thermal pad. This is no different Jackson then leaving that sticker on the CPU cooler, it renders that heatsink you installed the m.2 under ineffective, and shortens the life of the M.2 due to it getting to hot anyways.
genuine question, I have a ryzen 5 3500 and 1650 super but i am upgrading and having a hard time figuring out to what yet. I thought about it and saw some bench marks on the 4070 and ryzen 5 5600x (was also thinking about the 5800X3D) they were pretty good, but i also saw a combo for ryzen 7 7700x with a motherboard and wifi for around 500 but I don't have the ddr5 ram. If I were to get the combo I am going to pair it with the 6800. Should I stick with the old AM4 platform or go to the new AM5 platform.
I want to upgrade my pc the current specs are gtx 970 ryzen 5 2600 32gb ram 550w power supply what should I upgrade to for a budget around £700 also my motherboard is a gigabyte 450m which is am4
I never know why everyone just doesnt spread the thermal paste fully to be sure. Takes a tiny bit longer but best to make sure its covers the whole ihs
I done did it this way my whole darn life, change is hard I guesses. But on a real note we take coolers off all the time for testing purposes and as long as you get enough in the middle it'll spread out pretty even on its own.
@@ToastyBros yea but not 100% sure it's not on 100% of the ihs.. just takes a moment to do it right. I enjoyed your video and think you explained everything else really well.
Actually as long as the die is covered then you're fine, there's no need to actually cover the whole thing except to make someone feel better. IDK where the whole "doing it right" comes from because a lot of computer technicians do the same thing/way.
@justinbogard6700 well some tests people have done where a pea or line and doesn't get all the corners and it is cooler and it will perform a little better and just cover the whole damn thing. No excuse.
@@xpodx look dude when you get a company where you build computers and sell them for a living, do whatever the hell you want. For your information you only have to cover the die and if you don't know why or what a die is you shouldn't be building a computer until you understand what you're doing. The 12th gen cpu's have a cooling problem because they bend, that's why they make aftermarket brackets to keep it from happening and over heating. I'm pretty sure they're doing pretty good building computers. It would be different if you said, hey I was told..... and you do it differently and why is that instead of saying your way is right. No matter what you do in life there's always more than one way to do something, which doesn't make either party right or wrong. If that's what works best for you then cool but if that's what works best for him then it's all good too.
I’m wanting to upgrade my pc to a better cpu. I have a asus b650- plus WiFi wanting to go from a ryzen 7700x to a ryzen 9 7950X3d is the motherboard good enough for the cpu? Or should I upgrade the motherboard first
8gb of vram is honestly pretty disappointing for an 1000 dollar build. if anyone is planning on building this id recommend to use an rx 6700 xt for only about $70 more. this will give you a significant boost in performance and 4gb more vram.
i looked at the linus psu tierlist and the smart series psu is in F AVOID tier idk what to do its in my budget so i want to get it but i dont want my pc to be too loud or not work properly
Why would you ever put a $250 GPU in $1,000 gaming PC. You should at least be putting a $350 GPU in there. 7600x is also way overkill for the GPU chosen, especially for 1440p. This is an example of an off-balance PC
Alright I’m a noob, I just want to build something that will be able to run GTA 6 at its top settings effortlessly. Would this be capable of that? If not, how much would I need to spend?

Yeah we linked an alternative for people who care about that.
This is exactly what i want to build, it's crazy you guys agree with my part choices
So what would a good upgrade path for this build look like?
Are all these build ones that your customers order and you’re just building it on the channel?
Would love one see a more relatable build where you buy parts of FB marketplace and overclock the gpu like us average people’s. Maybe a little gpu custom paint and case mods too.
Where have the classic YT Channels gone 😢
Can you guys do the same thing but for a mini pc? Using an ITX case and etc
Any other case that would work with this set up? can't find the Montech Air 100 ARGB anyware.
Are these pc specs for price worth it?
i5 14400F with rtx 4060 - 1749NZD which is 1070USD
OR
i5 14400F with rtx 4060ti -
1999NZD which is 1230USD
No
@@babybezdomovec_8640how much should i be paying for a good 4060ti build
there is wifi built into the mother board right?
👀
genuine question, I have a ryzen 5 3500 and 1650 super but i am upgrading and having a hard time figuring out to what yet.
Hey I love your content but can I ask is a rtx 4060 ti 16 gb good with a r7 5700 good together
Yes that's a good combo
Covet reference 🔥🔥🔥
❤❤❤❤❤❤my bro toasty jelly was here ❤❤❤
Nice work
Nice PC Build guide!
yea, but does it run crysis?
"Rx 7600 performance similar to rx 6750 xt"
did i hear that right?
And 8gb vram is "FUTUREPROOF"?
If you change 1000 dollars to polish pln you can only have ryzen 5 5600 and rtx 4060
Man microcenter is the way to go just put a pc together $934 with a ryzen 7 7700× and a 4060
Very nice .
I am terrified of the Faceapp thumbnail
should i get a rtx 4060 or a rx 7600 xt?
What is this named on the website
I want to upgrade my pc the current specs are gtx 970 ryzen 5 2600 32gb ram 550w power supply what should I upgrade to for a budget around £700 also my motherboard is a gigabyte 450m which is am4
Nice i have almost same build but with way better case 200 argb
W vid but now you needa do an intel and nvidia system for the same budget too:)
Hey toasty bro’s! I was wondering if a 4070 would be a good upgrade option from a 6700xt.
I’m wanting to upgrade my pc to a better cpu. I have a asus b650- plus WiFi wanting to go from a ryzen 7700x to a ryzen 9 7950X3d is the motherboard good enough for the cpu? Or should I upgrade the motherboard first
It'll work, not a bad idea to upgrade though.
8gb of vram is honestly pretty disappointing for an 1000 dollar build. if anyone is planning on building this id recommend to use an rx 6700 xt for only about $70 more. this will give you a significant boost in performance and 4gb more vram.
That Tier E BX1 PSU tho
We linked an alternative
16:42 " ... a few millimetres." That's going to confuse 75% of your audience! 😂😂
i looked at the linus psu tierlist and the smart series psu is in F AVOID tier idk what to do its in my budget so i want to get it but i dont want my pc to be too loud or not work properly
Why would you ever put a $250 GPU in $1,000 gaming PC. You should at least be putting a $350 GPU in there. 7600x is also way overkill for the GPU chosen, especially for 1440p. This is an example of an off-balance PC
Okay broskie we don't care.
I agree tho
@@appelpie2152why are you butt hurt about someone spitting facts?
It makes it easy to upgrade GPU in the future without having to upgrade anything else so its not actually a bad idea, also it puts you on AM5
@@ReqFamI see what you're saying but you build a PC because you want to game on it now, not because you can easily upgrade it later.
Alright I’m a noob, I just want to build something that will be able to run GTA 6 at its top settings effortlessly. Would this be capable of that? If not, how much would I need to spend?
No one knows what requirements Gta VI will have. R* hasn't even announced a PC version yet. It may come 1-2 years after it launches on consoles.
please do make a standalone apu build for the new upcoming amd 8000 series cpus
7:40 makes no sense, then why are all cpus bumpy under the microscope?
Uhhh whut?
@ToastyBros They say that the top of cpus are not flat, they are like a micro mountan, so because it's uneven like that it transfers heat better.
Can we get more 4070super build variations ranging from 1200 to 1500?
Can you make a build with the phanteks g300a
CPU running pretty hot in Fortnight
Fartnite kinda does it own thing. Also the 7000 X series CPU's are designed to run at 95C for optimal performance. That isn't a joke haha, Google it.
bro whats your cat or dogs name ? we see the hair i think we should have a episode to meet them. Love yalls content Thanks for sharing Bros
would a 7600xt still fit in the case?
