Watched most(if not all of your videos) and i love them. You're not shy about showing where you stumble, which makes these projects approachable. Hero worship over, since you you've leveled Leathercraft higher than most, how about tanning a hide? I know that is something I've watched on other channels and it's a project I'd love to do as it can yield more crafting materials(because buying finished leather is EXPENSIVE).
For a guy who says he doesn't know what he's doing, generally, you make some kick-ass stuff. Holy heck. That gorget is gorgeous. WHY DOES THIS VIDEO ONLY HAVE 891 LIKES AFTER TWO FRICKIN' YEARS!? It's a frickin' CRIME, man.
I love this idea. I'd give it magic resistance from evil (not good, though!), or maybe some kind of immunity from a specific type of damage. However, a penalty to magic being cast by wearer (25% failure chance, maybe).
Niiiiice. As a fellow leather crafter, who likes to dabble and make custom stuff, I have a few ideas for you that all tie together. So first, decide on pewter or aluminum and make a smelting device (probably forge for aluminum and simple hot pot for pewter). Next, get a roll of 3d printable wax filament for your 3D printer. Then finally, either design or find some designs to print for your armor and print them, then cast them in metal and attach to the armor. And each of those steps would make for pretty cool episodes. This was basically the method I used to get a nice replica of the spell book from Hocus Pocus :P
When you wear this, you should do some corrupted style make up on the same side as the corruption on the gorget, like, creeping up from the neckline! Also, I think it would've been cool, to have some smaller eyes growing in place of the leaves on that side. Small sized glass cabochons pushing outwards from the center of the leaf, the leaf becoming like an eyelid. Oh oh maybe sticking one on your neck above the gorget collar.
omg thank you thank you thankyou.... i actually loved your idea and did my own version😁 i did corrupted wizard and won third in local bar's halloween costume contest!
I like the method you used for attaching the cooler to shoulder. If you use your swivel knife on the side that you want to bend, it's easier than trimming off the leather with a knife. The leather will bend to whichever way you want it to. Just trying to help.
Make sure you make a playlist for the Corrupted Druid starting with the Staff also for then skull mask I reamend use an actual animal skull and maybe paint something on it
Awesome build. Been waiting for you to make a gorget. Since others add eyes to their leather work and I always wanted to know how its done. Good to know and knowing is half the battle. Look forward to learning more.
I'm finally catching up on your videos and holy crap, man, this piece is dope!!! And I love that you have a story coming together for a complete character. As a writer, I'm super excited.
Why are only 10% of your viewers liking your videos? If they all like the video and comment it helps the algorithm promote it! Get on that viewers! You know he earned that like!
Man, you’ve made an axe, a spear and a staff, don’t you think it would be cool to finish your weapons expertise with forging a sword? I think it would be really cool! As always a very good video and extremely high quality creations :D
@@rayous5480 or he could throw every one for a loop an make a broad sword for a barbarian. I'll bring him a 30lbs train spike I have if he wants to do that.
Maybe you could do a different type of corruption for each armour piece? Also, if eyes appear on my armour - I should probably be a bit worried? Do you offer any kind of counterspell to this problem?
No. It first started as a little story I told at the beginning of my "staff of the druid" episode. Madi and I got to chatting about the story and developed a whole background for it and what would happen next. We liked it so much we just decided to use it 😁
Not sure if you will see this as this is an older VOD, Was wondering if you ever finished this set? Also i wanted to ask permission to use the idea of the corrupted? mine will be different in the way yours is more corrupted Nature. I am going to do like a good vs Evil corrupted. Where when my wife and I hold hands walking it looks like the corruption will be Transferring between us. I am going to try to build two costumes for next Texas ren fair 2025. Cheers.
Not to be a stickler...as I wasnt the biggest Next Generation series...but wasn't Commander Riker called Number 1? Because he was the 1st officer? Number 2 was Robert Wagner/Rob Lowe in Austin Powers. Otherwise a great video.
No shame in going the 90's tinkerer route there on detail work, when i do my detail dye/painting work on my armors I sit at my draftsman table with a lighted magnifier.

Corrupted Gorget: AC 10 Enchantment(s): Grants wearer animalistic senses, Water breathing, +100 mana, shield magic cost 40% less
Oh man! Now I want to make this for all of my armor/builds😂

@@cetx good Idea 😀
Super awesome I can't wait to see a corrupted gauntlet
Oh man. The plans we have for that are SO EXCITING. It is the piece I am most excited about.

Thats sick the way the cabochon kinda follows you when you move it is just awsome
Agreed! I love those so much. I can't believe how easy they are to make!

Dude!!!!!! That's so awesome! Well done sir! Well done!
Thank you! This one was a ridiculous amount of fun!
Those triangular gaps are called "darts" :) Another awesome vid!
Great to know! Thanks for the info and for watching!
So keen for the complete set. Awesome work as usual :D
Also, if you make a helmet for this, it needs some deer antlers or something, much Druid.
omg thank you thank you thankyou.... i actually loved your idea and did my own version😁 i did corrupted wizard and won third in local bar's halloween costume contest!
Uhh yeah! The Dragon eyes are used 😁👌
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels. I look forward to seeing the rest of the armor!
Can you wear all the armors you made together with quiver
I definitely will!😁
Such a cool piece of armor, way to go kit, great use of all the skills you've learned thus far. Can't wait to see what you make next

GREAT CALL! I will make the playlist ASAP!
That thing came out great.
Eye rivet! Yes!

Thanks for the great video and another dose of your endless creative energy!

can we see you make a tasset ? maybe upper leg armors as well ? this is awesome
You’ve done bracers but vambraces would be awesome.
7:33 It kinda looks like the Hero’s Guild Seal from Fable.
This was awesome. And yeah I kinda do the same with crafting, so I think it's most people :D
I can’t wait for gauntlets
Let one be corrupted and one untouched
Great build! could you post a sketch of the finished costume or is that a secret? Looking forward to the completed outfit!
This would be nice whith a dragon scale armor (dragon armor)
That WOULD be cool. I need to do some good scale tooling done soon.
11:30 the crafts smith that says hes not very experience in crafting
No. 2 is Dr Evil (Austin Powers movies.) Picard's first Officer and Dog is No 1.
I was JUST watching TNG and thinking of this mistake 🤣. "Who does number 2 work for"! LOL

He should make a rapier to complete his rogueish style or a scimitar for the elven armour.
Bret Lemieux I couldn’t agree more
@@rayous5480 or he could throw every one for a loop an make a broad sword for a barbarian. I'll bring him a 30lbs train spike I have if he wants to do that.
Eldridge horror of corruption....was that a Sabrina reference?? 👀 probably not but my mind thought of the new sabrina witch series 🤷♀️
Why is this a tragic story corrupted can be fun and awesome
The story we came up with for it is super tragic. Corruption, loss, betrayal. So good 😅
I told you my life story was private
Maybe you could do a different type of corruption for each armour piece? Also, if eyes appear on my armour - I should probably be a bit worried? Do you offer any kind of counterspell to this problem?
Is this corrupted Druid a character you’re playing in a dnd campaign? Btw, this is looking awesome

@@SkillTree nice. But you should totally turn it into a dnd character. Like you started out as a druid, and then multi classed into warlock.
love your channel ... but I want MEAD!

The tree symbol gave me lord of the rings vibes

🤣 you are correct! Still, calling someone by a number makes me feel like Picard.... or a prison warden I suppose.
go with 1.58" and you can get 20 of them for like 15$ instead of 2 for 10
This part of the build is done. Let's move on to...dying
Pharaoh Kheops, probably
please make a dnd campaign out of this story
We were thinking about it! A group of adventurers showing up where the animated story we made out of it ends off. Have you seen the story yet?
It would be better armor if you hardened it.
What do I win for being first?
A like.
AAAAND A GOLD STAR 🌟 😁
A wink from The BG. 😉

If any one watches critical role it kinda looks like okatoah style armour.
