- Hey! Hope it's useful!
- This song is originally played in D standard tuning, which means every string is tuned a whole step down. But sometimes it's simpler to just tune the low E string to D (drop D). I'd recommend playing this song in the usual way, because I think it's more comfortable, sounds and feels better. But it can also be played in drop D when it's not appropriate to detune all strings (such as playing live) or when you're too lazy (guilty hahahaha).
- I'm sorry for the main solo...it's a bit sloppy, I didn't focus too much on it. It's almost the same thing as the original, only played two frets lower. If you're not happy with the way I played it, there are plenty of tutorials out there.
- I recommend playing the main riff in the stretchy way (like I played it in the first time, at 0:23) to sound more similar to the original. But it's a bit harder, so it's okay to play it the other way as well (like at 1:40)!
Hope you like it! 🤘 I explained what I did in the description.
Great video!
Thank you! 🤘
Sick pantera shirt man is that a slash signature epiphone?
Thanks!
Yes, it is
Well I’m pretty sure it’s in standard or half step down ? But still sounds good I had that same guitar I think and oh my love the pinch harmonic in there \m/
Thank you!! It's originally tuned 1 step down.
