For those who are unfamiliar a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. at the end of a block zone is a method to stop the train if the block ahead is occupied, this is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding into one another.
basically block zones are portions of the track that only one train can be in so they dont collide. for example, the lift, and the stations are separate blocks, so if a train is in the station, then the train behind it will get stopped before it enters the same section, so they dont crash into each other and make it so only one train can be in that section
@Rachel Jackson , I'm honestly partial to the Phantasm , and while she's not one in a traditional sense Amanda Waller is one of the few people who could give Batman a true run for his money.

My favorite Batman actor is Kevin Conroy (R.I.P) and my favorite Batman coaster is Magic Mountain's Batman The Ride. Also I think Batwing at Six Flags America should receive an honorable mention. It's not technically named "Batman" but it still pays tribute to our favorite caped crusader.
I always look forward to these name rankings. Some of the absolute funniest vids in the coaster community As for a more serious video idea, what about a list video of the parks with the best flat ride collections
The Dark Knight at SFNE really do be underrated. It's not as tall or fast as other B&M floorless, but it sure is a comfy and painless ride. The steep lift hill is pretty rare, and it's often a walk on because of how far back into the park it is.
@@braxtonradcliffe8448 the little known single rider line helps a lot with getting on it fast, it was a walk on when me, my brother, and his boyfriend used it on a VERY busy day

“Spinning Batman” in China was a Chinese knock-off of the Caripro/Setpoint flyers (think “Scooby Do’s Ghoster Coaster” at Kings Island). It was rough, in the corners, you had to brace yourself, as it swung very quickly and went “THUNK” every time. Painful ride, and as mentioned kinda creepy. I rode both forwards and backwards. Not sure why, as I believe I have permanent Dain Bramage from that ride. (Yay!! Another Skyrush Hater!! TEAR IT DOWN!!!)
If Batwing at Six Flags America were here it'd probably do pretty well... surprised it's not named batman the ride, considering the park doesn't have a b&m invert
Holy Batman. He is my favorite super hero. Kevin Conroy is the best Batman. God bless him. I miss him. Saw the coaster that was at SFno. Fun video, thanks.
Hey me again! Just got done with the gci video, it was great video! But I have been looking have you done top 10 roller coasters with the best ending? If not I think it will be a good video!
Eh? Because kittens like to kill mice? Anyway I think you (airtime thrills) should do this idea! You don’t have to though but I think it would be cool!
be interesting to do a comparison video between all the rides that have the same names and see which one has been named the most times... so how many batmans are there, how many supermans, big dippers, roller coaster... essentially finding out the most popular coaster name, or the most unoriginal whichever way you look at it.
There's probably been a lot of change over time. Seems like there was a period when almost every roller coaster with a name was called Cyclone or Wildcat.
I would love to see a ranking of all the batclones. Surely there is something that makes one better than another. Theming, how well it’s been maintained, operations, paint job, etc. Thats a video I’d really like to see lol
Albeit I was expecting him to also put in the dark knight coasters, batwing, and any other Batman themed coasters that aren’t themed to a villain. That could have its own video.
Good Lord!!! 🤣🤣🤣I have never seen so many Batman coasters. I definitely agree with the number one spot for Batman the Ride and you're right. I've ridden Batman a couple of Batman clones before that were exactly like the original ride.
Best cheesey line in Batman And Robin? "HI Freeze, I'm Batman!" Followed closely behind by Arnold saying "Take two of these and call me in the morning." Adam West hands down the corniest Batman. But, also the best. Great video Chris, or shall we call you Coaster Man?

I haven't ridden that many Batman coasters, apparently. My favorite, though, is Batman: The Dark Knight at Six Flags New England, followed by the Batman: The Ride clones, and my favorite of the ones I've ridden is the one at Six Flags Over Texas followed by the one at Six Flags Great America and the one at Six Flags Over Georgia.
Dude, Batman night flight was a great ride. I miss it. Going down to KD here in a week and a half. Can't wait to finally get back on a coaster. Last ride was new years eve on Mystic Timbers.

I've ridden the Batman The Ride coasters at Magic Mountain and Over Georgia. They are very intense. My dad got sick on one of them. You never get a chance to catch your breath. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of them. It's hard to appreciate the layout when you get whipped around like crazy.
To be honest, I'd have definitely swapped The Chiller (SFGA) and Batman: The Dark Knight (SFNE) in the rankings. Sure, they're right next to each other, but surely the fact the latter one mostly _worked_ should give it an edge?
You could just replace the restraints on Thighcrush. Batman the Dominator at KD is still a great coaster. Now where can I learn about those block zones?

Yeah, if I ever went there, I'd probably say it's the 3rd best ride there, behind Wicked Cyclone and Superman: The Ride.
