TOGO actually built an Ultra Twister with a dive loop instead of a switch track. It currently operates at the Rusutsu Resort and it is high on my bucket list, mainly due to how fast you zoom through the last two inversions.
Another thing of note is that building or designing roller coasters in-house are cheaper than many may think. Maybe not build the whole thing but hire certain companies to fit your vision. An Arrow suspended coaster could be built with Vekoma track and S&S trains since they still make Arrow trains. A wooden wild mouse would be an inexpensive and popular ride. Another thing to note is a British company, Taziker coasters, a subcontractor and design firm. They have retracked parts of the big one and have stated that they are flexible and have also provided knock-off Schwarzkopf track for the relocated Zambezi Zinger in Columbia and new track for Colossus at Thorpe Park. If a park wanted to, they and Taziker could bring back an exact clone of an Ultra Twister whilst being rather inexpensive. Great video!

MACK rides should bring back the family multi-launch coaster, I’m talking about Manta at SWSD, it’s a borderline family coaster and can introduce younger audiences to LSM (though weak) launches and more aggressive forces
I agree with this, mostly because a Vekoma flying dutchman was not only the first coaster I rode, but was one of my favorite rides until it was removed from it's park.
I got to ride the Ultra Twister at Nagashima Spa Land earlier this month and it was surprisingly not as bad as I expected. The fact that it's all in one plane and has no turns means there's limited room for Togo to put bad transitions into the ride.
IIRC the ultra twister that was built in the US had very poor maintenance and thus was quickly disliked. This is also why when it was put into Rollercoaster Tycoon as the Heartline Twister coaster, it has absolutely abysmal stats compared to other coasters and attracts even less guests than most flat rides in the game.
For the Schwartzkopf multi-loopers, the only manufacturer who could perfect it would be Maurer. They currently do replacement parts for old Schwartzkopf rides, and I have a feeling they gained control of all their assets, like S&S did with Arrow.

I would LOVE to see a reinvention of the arrow suspended swinging model as well as the bobsled coaster model. Also, I agree in which there needs to be more S&S 4th dimension coasters. SFOT is my home park. La Vibora actually feels scarier than a lot of the much newer, crazier coasters to me. Titan its first few months ran with the MCBR wide open, and that second half was *nuts* in terms of raw intensity. It's a shame that it doesn't run anything like that anymore (and hasn't since a few months into its first year).
2:39 they have a custom launched invert on duelling dragons in china
I loved Lightning Run but I also rode it when I was training for football in high school and those restraints are not thunder thigh friendly. Airtime was like quicker bursts of El Toro’s ejector. I hope I can get on it soon now that my legs are a little smaller and enjoy the airtime instead
Yea the first time i rode LRun the lapbars really hurt the ride for me. 2nd time around didnt bother me as much
🎉 celebrate airtime come on. New airtime thrills video let's gooo. 🤘
It would be a good idea for RMC to bring back launched rides, but with lightning rods constant techincal problems, that probably wont happen for a very long time.
Maybe raptors, and possibly hybrids, but woodies hell no lol
Lighting rods having it ruff this year.
@@cb_styx3392 we were there opening week and got three rides and it’s running well when we could get on, but same week it was down for maintenance about half the time and we had a rollback one of the times we did make it on 😂
The AMA stated they're willing to put a launch on anything (not wood).
Windjammer needs to come back, as a Custom Layout Duel Racing S&S EL Loco.
Didn’t Intamin also bring back the launched inverted coaster with Dueling Dragons in China (Sitdown-Invert racing coaster)?
Btw, there's a Togo ultra twister that has a dive loop
Z-Force/Flashback was also the first coaster to ever use B&M track. I'm so glad B&M took the track from the space diver and perfected it.
A video suggestion, top coasters to ride before they are gone in the next 5 years.
The scale model of a suspected coaster did have a corkscrew inversion before "The Bat" was build. There is a RUclips video somewhere with this.
I do have my video about coasters that could be gone in 5 years. And to think a coaster with swinging cars could go upside down is wild
I’d like to see a Virginia reel as a novelty attraction. Just one in a park somewhere to get an interesting coaster credit
“Togo” and “awesome” in the same sentence is giving me anxiety.
i’m going to visit japan next year & i’m going to ride the ultra twister on nagashima spa land. i’m excited that i’m finally going to get a pretty rare credit (even though they only still exist in japan)
I rided furius baco and although its rough the experience is short and vere forcefull. Its one pf my favourites and so unique
Zierer made two tower coasters. Impulse at Knoebles is the other which was built in 2015. So there's a chance its not dead
Man you do wonderful insightful videos and great on past roller coasters. What do you think about that Spike going in for TTD at CP?
Im a firm believer in the spike idea, i think thats the only way they can get it up to speed with LSMs to get over the top hat
@@AirtimeThrills agreed. Brandon at TPP liked when I said, how about also breaking the speed record. Another record? Record spike and speed? He loved that idea. Lol.
I really want new GOOD arrow suspended coasters! (Maby with inversions)
Vekoma STC is your answer.
Not much people talked about, but modern Vekoma invert train could swing
Being from Japan I love riding the Ultra Twister Models although they are a bit rough. I feel if it is updated and made to modern standards there is a ton of Potential.
I forget where but I heard someone contacted Intamin recently who said they’re still offering the prefab woodie even going so far as to say it can be offered with an LSM launch
Does this mean you’re going overseas?? How exciting! My only request is you take a tiny bit of extra B-roll from your non-coaster travels to sprinkle into the vlogs!
SFOT is my home park. La Vibora actually feels scarier than a lot of the much newer, crazier coasters to me. There's something about the trackless design that seems a little unsafe, similar to some body slides at water parks. Shockwave is a great old Schwarzkopf. Some great airtime, & enough G-force in the loops to be notorious for causing grey outs. I can see how some people fins Titan a little boring, but I like it. Nothing wrong with some good old-fashioned speed, IMHO, & the double helix still packs a punch.
Totallllly agree about ultra twister. I had the pleasure of riding one about 32 years ago at Astroworld, & it was a ton of fun. It was so different from anything else that existed at the time that it might not be QUITE as awesome as I remember if I were able to ride it now, but I'd love the chance to find out! I also tode my first & only suspended coaster at Astroworld. Again, it was super unique at that time. Mellow enough to not be scary for those who aren't big thrill-seekers, but still fun. I always wanted to ride Big Bad Wolf.
Other coasters I wanted / want to ride... Volcano & X2 . Oh, & Roller Soaker at Hershypark, just b/c I love the combination of a roller coaster & water ride.
The Original Bat at Kings Island was unlike any coaster layout. For 1981, it was Thrilling.
I know there are four in America, but I wish there were more Schwarzkopf Wildcat models around the world. I rode the one at the North Georgia State Fair and loved it! Definitely underrated!
