@@Quad_Lock I would be stunned if it's not compatible with my infotainment system. My car (Seat) is made by VW motor group who own Volkswagon, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Cupra, to name a few. And i know that the infotainment systems are all exactly the same in the Seat, VW and Audi models from my model year. So that would be a huge, enormous amount of vehicles that it's not compatible with, if that's the case.
From other comments I am starting to suspect that it seems that Seat, Audio and VW users between 2017 and 2020 all having the same issue - so that does make me wonder if all these systems made and installed by same the same brand (VW Group) are incompatible, which is very concerning indeed.

Hi, just connected to our 2018 VW Tiguan. The screen shows the car play home page but is unresponsive to touch other than making the touch sound. For example I can press the play button on music and the screen remains frozen, music starts. My wired car play works perfectly. Does this have delay issues when playing music? Im currently using other brand(carlinkit) wireless carplay device and it has an issue while playing/pausing/switching musics, it has 3-4seconds delays. Does this product also have this issue?
Hey! 👋🏻 Through our testing, we have found a slight voice delay when making calls to another device using a similar CarPlay system. This delay is highly dependent on the signal of the phone along with the head unit used and other external factors. From our test this did not apply to music though! Yes there’s a music delay depending on what the buffer is set to. I increased mine to 2000ms or 2s in hopes it would decrease the disconnection issues (it didn’t) and all music is delayed 2 seconds.

I have the CarPlay adapter and does seem to connect to either the iPhone 14 nor the CarPlay in the car. I’ve got a HAVAL H6 2023. I have updated firmware on the Adapter, just won’t connect red light flashes but no connect.I’ve tried quad lock company, they couldn’t help. Can anyone help please.

I you have a VW, AUDI, SKODA or Seat/Cupra I think there is a massive lack and freezing issue. Certainly seen several comments and my skoda it just lacks and freezes won't load maps. I would say its not compatible

Try my potential fix: disconnect all cables, blow in ports, reconnect cables. Hoping it's fixed it for me, seemed to be solid for an hour after previously it would disconnect just by touching the device.
EDIT: Update to the below original comment. I noticed today that whenever I picked up the device, the connection immediately cut out. So I thought it could be a port or cable issue. I disconnected the cables (1 from device to car, 1 from device to Quad Lock wireless charger) and blew into the ports and upon reconnecting the cables, it worked without disconnects for a 1hr drive today. Hoping that solves it! ORIGINAL COMMENT: It randomly disconnects. I’ve been in touch with support and their suggestions did not fix. It’s been a while now so I’ll reach back out to them. Glitches out and freezes constantly your support takes forever to answer back unhappy with product bought the wireless MagSafe charging head which is pointless because I still have to plug my phone in directly to the car for CarPlay plus having Issuses ordering off your website

@@fly04002 quad lock refunded my money and let me keep the carplay unit. They seemed to think there wasn't a solution to the problem. I'm hoping a future firmware update makes it work.

I you have a VW, AUDI, SKODA or Seat/Cupra I think there is a massive lack and freezing issue. Certainly seen several comments and my skoda it just lacks and freezes won't load maps. I would say its not compatible

Try my potential fix: disconnect all cables, blow in ports, reconnect cables. Hoping it's fixed it for me, seemed to be solid for an hour after previously it would disconnect just by touching the device.
EDIT: Update to the below original comment. I noticed today that whenever I picked up the device, the connection immediately cut out. So I thought it could be a port or cable issue. I disconnected the cables (1 from device to car, 1 from device to Quad Lock wireless charger) and blew into the ports and upon reconnecting the cables, it worked without disconnects for a 1hr drive today. Hoping that solves it!
ORIGINAL COMMENT: It randomly disconnects. I’ve been in touch with support and their suggestions did not fix. It’s been a while now so I’ll reach back out to them. I haven’t been able to figure out what causes the disconnects either.

Glitches out and freezes constantly your support takes forever to answer back unhappy with product bought the wireless MagSafe charging head which is pointless because I still have to plug my phone in directly to the car for CarPlay plus having Issuses ordering off your website

Hi 👋🏻 We have not tested our CarPlay adaptor on that specific model but you can take advantage of our 30 day return policy to test it out for yourself! 🙌 We expect our adaptor to be compatible with most vehicle's infotainment units, as long as they were released in 2016 or later 👍

It seam like a lot of money to spend not knowing if it will work or not based on the few negative comments on RUclips. Tried looking for reviews on this thing and couldn’t find any on RUclips.

if you not in a vw audi group car it should be ok ford seems fine
Does not work with my 2023 Toyota Camry. Just stays in “connecting to phone” screen. I have reached out to support about this issue.
I have same issue on my 2022 toyota 4runner. Stays in connecting to screen 😢

Hey, I want to use this on my Honda NT1100 motorcycle. I will make sure the device will be inside a waterproof housing of some sort. The motorcycle has wired Apple carplay, any idea if it will work?

As for motorcycles, we haven’t tested our CarPlay setup on them, so we can’t guarantee it’ll work with your Honda, even if it has wired Apple CarPlay. But feel free to give it a go, and you can always return it if it’s not compatible 😉
