I like that you can walk around the bed and also that the burners on the stove are placed farther back on the countertop. Amazing storage underneath too. Looks like a great rig.
My goodness , legs eleven , very fast delivery Andy , well done , even I'm out of breath , nice rig , very smart , beautifully done , love the shirt , smart , hugs
👏😄 Bravo MrD! I could just tell that you were itching to go more indepth with the features... but showed remarkable restraint! Looking forwards to future reports. 😊👍
Hi Andrew lovely to see you as always & pleased you are looking well! The Motorhome is Beautiful, looking forward to watching the upcoming Vlogs! Lots of Love to You & Dougal 💖💖💜💜 XXXX
I’m exhausted just watching this! Good to see you got a Helllooo in tho! Look forward to the full live in review (please be frank about stupid kitchen mains socket positioning!)
Thank you! The chassis is extended in the factory, and the garage has a limit of 150kg to protect it. As long as the garage is not overloaded there should be no problem.
Hiya... really enjoyed this... as always of course.... still don't think we'd ever have a motorhome though.... just not right for us and what we do .... take care Paolo and Roger aka 'The Camp Caravanners'
The 5 minute tour was fun but another couple of minutes would have been less frantic for us and less stressful for you. A quick mention of the 2022 UK (or German) model price would have been good so that we would have a ball park idea of the sort of price for the 2023 UK model. Autotrader says between £79k for an ex rental with 12,000 miles up to £97k for a top class low mileage model) so I'm guessing we would be looking at anything from about £95k for a "basic" model to £110k or more for all the bells and whistles. There again, I might be way off.
Hi Tony, I think the manufacturers have been caught out by massive price increases on the components over the past 12 months, so are now wanting people to check in 'real time' because prices aren't staying the same for very long at all. At the end of the day, it's to ensure people get the correct info and are not disappointed by over promising. Cheers.
Hari OM Crikey mate, that made me dizzy! It did tease, though, and will definitely be watching out for all the road trip and full review! Trust you had fully recovered and no 'drag' from the lurgy. YAM xx
Hi. Your fault that I have to ask this question after watching your antics, just wondering if you have had experience of a SWIFT BESSACARR 542 2019. I am thinking of buying one fitted with a fiat 130 multi jet engine. Is this engine underpowered and noisy ? Thinking of changing my caravan. What do you think?
Hi Kevin, sorry I don't have experience with that. But being a used model it should be possible to take it for a test drive? I do find mohos noisier than cars by design. Good luck!
Good one Andrew. Question what is the fuel consumption on s loaded beast like that fully loaded? They look lovely campers but too big for the New Zealand places I go. Can't see me digging that out of the mud like I can my wee van. But love looking at them.
My goodness, where did all that energy come from? I've built up a healthy sheen on my brow already. I've just started trying to catch up, looking forward to a more gentile pace over the next few days. 👍🖖🏴🏴🏴
Almost identical habitation to (except the drop down bed) the Bailey Adamo 75-4i. I suspect Defleff quality is slightly superior, but I suspect the Deflett is slightly pricier?
I really couldn't get Dethleffs to even give me an approximate price so I can't comment I'm afraid. I think the manufacturers have been caught out by too many unannounced chassis price increases on pre-sold motorhomes so are now playing it ultra-cool.
We got only a cursory look at your camera woman near the end of the video but I think you are, again, traveling with Sophia. I look forward to seeing where you travel.
Indeed! It was meant to be Shanna filming the first look but she contracted Covid and couldn't come, so Sophia stepped in, but out of sequence for the video releases... if you get what I mean! She'll be featuring properly soon!
Why did you have to do it in 5 minutes?! Was Sophia with you? Great mini review, look forward to the extended one! You sound much better! How are you feeling? I feel a bit weary today so I did another lateral flow! Negative thank goodness! My chest is tight and I feel weak but this is what happens with the 'rona" I did comment on your last vid, not sure whether you saw that one?! Anyway, I really envy you being in Austria as you are now, I would love to go back! I overdid it in Edinburgh between flights and I'm paying for it now! I am missing Cathy's dogs, Cathy too! We shed a tear at Stornoway airport! Take care and enjoy the rest of your trip! Hugs xx
Hi Andrew I found this 1st look interesting as I have recently bought a new Rollerteam Pegaso 740 on 3.5T (I am in the process of an upgrade with air suspension so wont be 3.5 for long !!) This is a good comparison I also have the 9 speed auto gearbox its AWESOME enjoy your tour and big pats to Dougle P.S. how about a review on the Pegaso ?
Excellent Andrew. I've just committed to a 6.6m A class with a very similar layout. But Dethleffs have made excellent use of the extra length. Loved the idea of a whistle stop tour. Take care on the road! ...and WHAT was that on your face half way through!!...carried on like a pro.
Hi Dougal. If you want to go on an adventure with us pensioners in Corby. While your Dad is on travels. Drop us a msg on the dog and bone or Email. Cheers from old George and Jane. 👫👍🇬🇧🐕

Thank you! It's been a great vehicle for the week. Full review coming soon!
Whew, I'm out of breath just watching you Andrew! It's a lovely Motor home. Can't wait to see it in action.
Reminds me of " challenge anneka " ! Can't wait full review.
My goodness , legs eleven , very fast delivery Andy , well done , even I'm out of breath , nice rig , very smart , beautifully done , love the shirt , smart , hugs
Nice motorhome! Good to see you back out on the road in my favourite part of the world
Thanks Chris! Yes, I'm definitely a mountain person too.
You made me smile Andrew, Thanks! Jeff and Sheila in the west.
Thanks J&S! Not sure I'll be doing it at that speed again! ;)
Thank you Andrew 😉
😄 I liked that, it was fun - especially the cupboards 😆
Glad you enjoyed it Mads :)
Another beautiful dethleffs, we love our van and can’t see us changing it forever. If you are going back to the factory I’m after a favour!
Too late Matt! I'm home now, but sadly didn't get to see the factory anyway, just the rental depot where they also do the press vans.
@@andrewjditton Ah damn it, oh well nevermind. Hope all is well
Impressive, thank you Andrew!
Glad you liked it!
👏😄 Bravo MrD! I could just tell that you were itching to go more indepth with the features... but showed remarkable restraint! Looking forwards to future reports. 😊👍
Cheers Mo! Yes, the full review (out in a couple of weeks) is way more up my Strasse ;)

Thank you Susan!

Will do!!
Instant unsub for me if the helloooo was missing. It was borderline already with the lack of Dougal, but an expert save at the end!
Very nice! That's quite a rear overhang... I think this is a potential issue with Ducato chassis on motorhomes over 7 metres.
Thank you! The chassis is extended in the factory, and the garage has a limit of 150kg to protect it. As long as the garage is not overloaded there should be no problem.
Monty python springs to mind. Classic Laugh
Enjoy the ride Andrew.
Look forward to the full review. 😉
Coming soon Robert, thanks!
Why the rush?
Andrew you have become Speedy Gonzalez. Looking forward to more.
Ha ha! It's not my natural rhythm, I'm not sure I'll do that again! ;)
Hiya... really enjoyed this... as always of course.... still don't think we'd ever have a motorhome though.... just not right for us and what we do .... take care Paolo and Roger aka 'The Camp Caravanners'
Glad you enjoyed it chaps! :) xx
Handsome looking A Class! Dougal is missed!
Yes, I miss him too. But with the heat experienced on this trip he was WAY better off with his buddies in the cooler Scottish Islands :)

@@andrewjditton It's not just the components, base vehicle prices have gone mad as well.
I actually like it. I look forward to the full review 😊💜
Thanks! Yes, full review will be out in a couple of weeks :)

Well done! 😂

Hi Glen, for the trip it was 10.5l/100km, 30mpg (UK), 25mpg(US)
My goodness, where did all that energy come from? I've built up a healthy sheen on my brow already. I've just started trying to catch up, looking forward to a more gentile pace over the next few days. 👍🖖🏴🏴🏴

Thanks! Yes, I think the manufacturers have been caught out recently with relentless price increases on the components.

I have to say I agree on the gearbox Steve! Congrats on the Roller Team. If Roller Team want to set up a trip I'm certainly open to the possibility!
Cost at time of filming?
👍👍👍👍👍👍
That’s the way to do it… ✅ 🤪 👏🏻
Almost made me want to buy one and all in just 5 mins, yay! Reckon you should make this the new norm Andrew… 👍🏻 😉
Ha ha! Cheers Rog. I don't think so, my modus operandi is way slower ;)

Speaking as a six-foot man, I am not 75kg!
It's just an average James, and I would never insult anyone by calling them average. If you watch this channel, then you are exceptional! ;@)
No, please don’t do that again.
