It is so funny how so,e products work for me and not for others with similar skin. I LOVE the Fenty stick foundation! Honestly, I really love stick foundations and haven’t been able to use them for years. I have 3 now and I am so happy! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and collection with us! ❤
I’ve been waiting to watch this video all day! My daughter is finally in bed, time for momma to have a glass of wine and watch one of my favorite beauty RUclipsrs!☺️
Wow!! I’m stunned that you can get the Physicians Formula Diamonds Perfector to work!! I’m one of those that tried it with high hopes but it REALLY looked awful on me! Literally the worst I’ve ever tried in my life!(for me) I’m happy to know it worked for you!
You should try that L’oréal Infallible a bit more! I picked it up and wore it a couple times, came back to it after a few months and was like WOW compared to all my other usuals… thin, lightweight, natural/matte finish, i would say medium buildable. Everything I was looking for. Doesn’t break up around my nose and smile lines! I have fallen back in love with it ❤🌸 Love your declutters Kari! So glad I stumbled upon you one day on RUclips!
When you say your changed skin from dry to oily my first thought is you used products that interrupted your skin barrier and dehydrated your skin..because when that happens the skin over-produces oils to try and compensate. I'd say try some barrier repair and hydrating products 😊 and maybe cut down on exfoliants and retinoids vit c etc for a bit and just see what happens. It may go back to dry or even normal
I have definitely considered it to be attributed to my skincare, but I don't exfoliate often, maybe once a month, and I don't use retinoids, almost ever. When I had dry skin, I had cystic acne, and once my skin changed, my acne stopped. So, whatever it was, I'll take the combo skin over painful acne.
@KariMeghan oh yes absolutely! Sounds like your skin is happier and healthier now for sure! As long as you found what works for you and are happy with it. "Don't fix what ain't broken" I just know that's what I've found in my researching (because I'm sliiiightly skincare obsessed lol) so figured I'd pass it along 🙂
Also, this video is fantastic. Exactly the format I wish all declutters followed. Love that you swatch everything. The only thing that would make anyone's declutter videos even better is if face application clips were included as well, but I understand that's a tonnn of extra work and would make the video super long. Also, I know you have application footage of most, if not all, of your foundations. Selfishly would just be nice to have it all in one place 😊.
Dang you did so good!! The first time I used tirtir I used the sponge it came with and the second time I used a brush and didn’t like it at all. The sponge definitely helps the application will have to try again with it
I personally love the sponge but I've heard others say specifically they dislike it. To each their own, of course. But, I find it the best application for my skin. It goes from I don't like it to I love it, when I use that applicator.
I think its one of those makeup solutions that you have to apply correctly. Use the sponge that comes with it, tap it off on the inside of the lid and use a light patting motion all over the face, tap back on the inside of the lid to pick up the excess before you decide to get a lot of extra from tapping on the pan. Less is more, often the one pat from the first collection of product, is enough to dot around and then blend and cover whole face.😊
Thanks! Amazon. There aren't many places that make rings in my size. I wear a 13 on my thumb and forefinger. LOL. I have trouble finding the styles I like that fit me. Not surprisingly.
Suggestion: Buy some foundation mixing pigments so you can make foundations of whatever colour work! I have used the LA Girl concealers in green, yellow, white and also the LA Girl Foundation mixing pigments in various colours (blue, yellow, white) which are 30ml same as a foundation bottle. That way you can still use foundations that are too dark, warm, cool, etc! so if you love the formula but have the wrong colour... you can just easily fix it and still use it!
Wondering I'd you've tried something like mixing the iconic London in with other foundations since you said you love the smoothing aspect of it. Just curious how that would work and if it would make other formulas more smoothing.
@KariMeghan I'm the opposite 😆😆 I find myself constantly mixing mine. So wish I had a collection as large as yours at times because I just looove trying new formulas. Makes sense not to mix them though because you never know how they'll react with each other and they're formulated to work on their own.

Yesss the Lancôme Teinte Idole Care & Glow is another fav! 💕

Use the LA color corrector blue. I love the Lancôme but the glow no the color I want to try the Patrick T. Guess I’ll get a sample
That physicians formula bb cream, for me left tons of glitter all over my face!
Yeah, I have heard that from others. I did not notice a thing.
Love f foundation declutters. Will enjoy this one. It's 4:30 am. Wide awake. Just did a weird look from Cold Moon
Wide awake at 430!? I hate that. Why is it so hard to stay asleep as we get older? Or is that just me?

i need to do this.... didn't wear a single one over summer
Love the video❤ Also your rings are lovely where did you get them?

You are very right. I know they exist just haven't picked any up at this point and gave them a go.

I haven't. I have an aversion to mixing foundations. Not sure why. Maybe I'd love it.
