    Bravo, thanks for the awesome review video about Omni Gear Drive. In regards to the noise you mentioned at 6:10, there might be the large gear gap. If there is a chance, we recommend you can adjust them and see if the situation still there.
    Keep up the great work.

      Will you guys create a kit for the MBoards endurance????

    • @omniesk8
      @omniesk8 Год назад +1

      @@WAVMOB Hey bro, it can be mounted on boards equipped with 6x series motor/hole position. We also notice that the Endurance comes with the same structure, no problem with that.

    Not being able to use diferent AT wheels is a bummer to me. Just me. Thanks for showing the noise it makes on slow free roll, no other pointed this out, Kudos Bro!

    You can get high end pure teflon grease from keyboard sites thats plastic safe and lasts forever but very pricey. Smear a bit of it on the teeth and a lot of that noise/friction should disappear. Would also extend the life of the system. If you are cheap try silicone grease.
    I would for sure be lubing any gear drive.

    Tynee Explorer on gear drive is amazing for $1300-$1400 all in cost. Great for off roading and not having to worry about anything getting stuck in the belts or tearing it.

    Looks like this is mostly for production boards, since it's only compatible with D-shaped motor shafts.. Except for flipsky, Diy motors usually use a round shaft only.

    Thanks for vid. Im seriously considering these for my Hadean-B
    For reliability, simplicity, reliability and most importantly for me, zero belt slippage under heavy braking . That does my OCD in hard! I tighten the belts until there's no slip but then its WAY too tight (poor battery range and motor heat) and too loose is too loose=SLIP. Gear drive would hopefully do away with all that .
    PS: dad bod 105mm. is there little review in the works? They'll be my next wheel if so.

    What drive gear settling, on the Evolve remote config, are You using for the AT tyres? 66T?
    And for street wheels can You use both 40T and 38T?
    Or are those settings just for mileage readings....? 🤔

    • @l3rlc
      @l3rlc Год назад

      If you haven't broken a belt with that many miles than you must not be riding very hard. I was breaking a belt every 1-200 miles but that was likely do to near constant hard accelerations and braking.

    Paul here will that work for a mbs mountain board?

    • @ajplant96
      @ajplant96 2 года назад

      No but there are better much more suited gear drive systems like newbee esk8 for mountainboard setups. This one lacks torque for off road as it’s geared for street wheels also so it’s size limitations mean AT setups miss out on in some cases crucial torque for off road riding.

    • @puluzusa467
      @puluzusa467 2 года назад

      @@ajplant96 you are right. I think it's better for street wheels. As I hear another youtuber said they would bring more gear drive kits. For bigger wheels I guess.

  • @puluzusa467
    @puluzusa467 2 года назад +1

    I think the sound is because you dont adjust the gears right. I've got a kit just do some adjustments then sound good. and I dont think it should be compared with different ratio rate between belt and gear drive as well the top speed. emmm...

    • @esk8unity
      @esk8unity  2 года назад

      the clunking sound? or the sound when u throttle? If its the clunking sound u are talking about, u are right. and mine was way worse until i reached out to the company and 2 diy guys and re adjusted the gears. it made it better for sure. but even after i got it perfect, still maybe clunky noises that u can feel. Same with the new acedeck
