Another tough day, hats off to you for extending the route saving you from having to return for the last two of the group. Enjoy your trip to America and looking forward to your return to finish this epic adventure. Take care. Mick

      Thanks David
I’m actually going to a family wedding in New York… so won’t be a video for about a week… still aiming for July 17 Ben Lomond as my last Munro

I was on Bidean and surrounding hills on the same day and looked across at Beinn Starav and Loch Etive.
I thought my day was a biggy but yours was epic, well done.

Ah mate! Thanks for uploading this. I had my first trip to Scotland last week and had intended to Wildcamp at the top of Starav but it was far too windy, couldn’t even stand up in it so I had to bail. So I never saw what this route looked like. Thanks for uploading. New sub.

Thanks… this Starav is a fabulous mountain… tough day out, combining all 5 Munro’s .. most guide books only link two Munro’s for a day out

@@baggingthemunros3354 I had a route from a book called Scottish Wild country backpacking which had all 5 but divided it into two days. Looks a lot harder in this video than the book that’s for sure haha.

I am really impressed that you added that extra when you were feeling so tired. Great decision which I am sure you don't regret. Your ridge up Ben Starav is one of my absolute favourites - I'm surprised you didn't focus on the spectacular vertical cliffs on its SE side towards the top - there was a glimpse of them in one video shot. Any hill with the name Tarsuinn is likely to be in the way - it means transverse, i.e. crossing the general ridge line at a right angle.

Absolutely Eddie, no regret’s… in fact the last two Munro’s were relatively easy in comparison to the others, and I began to feel better as the day progressed. I definitely regret not staying on the ridge. Still a great day out and 5 Munro’s bagged.
I’m away for a week at a wedding in New York, so no videos for a few days. I’m still on target for Ben Lomond on July 17th …

@@baggingthemunros3354 Great, a pity you look as though you'll be missing more good weather after the next 2 days.

Another rush of blood to the head…..good decision, make the most of the settled weather and your fitness. A 5 tick day, once again you’ve earned your pint (or two) 😁

Nick when your walking Ben Lomond on your final munro, are you planning to go by the Ptarmigan ridge or up from the car park? Ian Dundee
