    Hi Paul, loved this one. Shame about the clag up there but great views when it cleared a wee bit. What a bouder field on Starav. I walk below Starav, but high above Loch Etive from lnverawe and round to Bonawe. The views are stunning. Have to say not been down Glen Etive for a couple of years since they started the Hydro stuff, and in the Summer its too crowded for me 😁 Thanks for the trip......Alioban ❤

      That’s a wee oldie that one! I need to go back to these hills in the coming years as the views are apparently amazing! I seen mostly cloud 😂😂. I’m always fascinated by these bunnets of rocks on mountains! It’s like some giant sprinkled them on like a giant cake! I can picture it now 🤓🤓🤓. Cheers Ali 👍👍 Paulo

    Good morning Paul, what a treat with our breakfast, popped you on the big screen this morning 🤗 the cloud was think and romantically clinging to the mountains at the start, really adds to the magic of the day. The summit of Ben S was nice to see, walking in the cloud is a strange thing, very calm and quiet ❤ the ridge itself looked like walking along a dragons back, we moved it, can just imagine two glowing red eyes peering through the cloud. Always nice to have the safety of a bypass path too, conditions and jelly knees playing a part for me 👍❤ nice to look back and see veiws, thanks for the video Paul, fabulous as always, have a great week, Ceri and Kat 👍🤗❤⛰☕🌫

    Good tidings, indeed! Such a beautiful hike, with the clouds hanging on the ridges and peaks. So dramatic hiking along the ridge, scrambling over the rocks, with air and clouds below you. An amazing landscape once you were below the clouds. Love the open hills going on forever.

    Best remedy for being holed up with a thunderstorm is going out for a wee walk with Paul. Perfect timing on dropping this video, couldn't have been better (from our perspective!). The peak you were hitting shortly after the 4 minute mark is just a bit of a rock pile isn't it? Looks a lot like some of the balder peaks we have here where all that's left is what the glaciers dumped out. Pity we couldn't see too much of the steep drop along the sides of the ridge you were walking, but can totally tell it's there. not a great place for a slip is it?
    Haven't asked this before, but have you climbed all of the munros yet? Surely you must have with how many you've banged out just in the few months we've been watching?

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  2 года назад +1

      Thanks JR! Yeah Starav has a boulder field sitting on top! Like a big rock icing on a cake! As far as munros go, I am miles away from finishing! Two years ago I decided to start a fresh and scrub all my walks over the years. Mainly because I had never kept a proper record of where I had been! So in the last year and a half I have done 94 and recorded them properly. Only another 188 to go! Hopefully you will stay with me through the journey. I reckon another 5 years or so! Cheers again guys!,, Paul
