I’ve had this for 2 years. My neighbour was an account executive for Givenchy LVMH. I got every single Givenchy and a bunch of Kenzo’s. High quality fragrances.
This cologne smells amazing I sprayed it on after the shower the other night and I smelled it the next day in the morning it's an amazing cologne
Ashton, you will make a man go broke. You have great taste and I want every fragrance that you like. I love the Givenchy Gentlemen line. I love the Iris note.Very sophisticated line.I love the blue theme with you. You match the fragrance.
If you guys like classic Dior Homme, Dior Homme Eau, and Prada L'homme you're gonna dig this one. Iris lovers gonna love this, even more so than others from this line. This is what the new Dior Homme should've smelled close to. Or even a reimagined Dior Homme Eau. Givenchy will carry on Dior's Iris heritage for LVMH.
Dior hasn’t killed iris though, they just made the original Dior Homme, Intense, and Parfum nearly impossible to get officially in the US.
I have it and love it. They included a small gift bottle to go along with it. I put two sprays in my car vents. Makes my audi q5 smell so upscale.
I like that the iris is not overpowering and plays a minor role. No lipstick scent that I hate. The smell is fantastic.
This is the fragrance that always makes me smile whenever i take a whiff of it! My signature scent of all!

Just picked this one up. I am definitely a fan! Fresh-ish Iris. Closer to Dior homme iris but not too lipstick-y at all. Wife loves it and had several compliments at work.

This one is fire but the EDT Doesnt get as much credit as it should in the fragrance world . Its so unique and masculine it has projected for me so well better than elixir fragrances in my collection. Women love it soo much fellas worth a blind buy if you havent smelled it yet 💯👌

@@lottapain3374 performance isn’t spectacular, but how many citrus based fragrances are? I get a solid 6 hours from it, which is fine by me. It smells fantastic. 👍

Know I'm a year late, but think I'm going to pick this up. Been wanting to get one from the line. Had samples of Boisee and Privee, but darker than I want right now. Also, his shirt looks like Chelsea blue and with the lion, maybe he wears it in honor of his wife, or I may be really stretching here. My husband's first fav fragrance. He has 120 bottles of great parfumes but he still loves his first love and is trying to find it ..I think it's discontinued..

So this sounds like Gentleman from 2017 where the opening had a nice clean and uplifting iris and then the dry down was just sweet and generic. It almost smelled like Calvin Klein Obsessed. I’ll have to smell this one.
This should be the standard EDT, along with the EDP and Cologne.
How about Prada Infusion D'iris?
Iris is such a weird note for me. Sometimes I rock it with confidence and feel awesome. Other times I feel super self conscious because I pick up more on the old lady vibes. But hey, that’s just the art of fragrance 🤷♂️.

What's the difference between Gentleman and Gentleman intense? Wow there is a lot of notes in the intense.....
It's been readily available in europe for some weeks now. Personally I get a lot better performance and projection from it than say Dior Homme intense. Givenchy has a fresher profile as well, so imo it might be better suited for spüring and summer.
U know everyone always compares it too Dior but I have both. I have Dhi and most the gentleman line and to me they smell nothing alike the Irish is used totally different
So is there a gentleman G fragrance that's for Spring/ Summer & one for Fall/Winter ? That's also versatile
Givenchy gentleman cologne is great for spring/summer where as givenchy gentleman eau de parfum is great for fall/winter.
As alan previously stated, Cologne for hot weather, EDP for cold weather, and everything in between, Boisee/EDT/EDT Intense all should work for those in between temperatures.

Gentleman EDT is my least favorite of the bunch
The original edt is ok, bit fruitier with the Iris. But the others are better. EDP best for cold, Cologne best heat. And this new one, been testing it, is the most versatile. I like it. Slightly greener with Iris and Tonka.

I've actually been noticing a slight Prada L'homme vibe in this one, just not as soapy and fresh as that one.
@@player9195 lol. My favorite are the EDT Intense and EDP. Those 2 should be the edt/edp combo. The Cologne is nice for warm days. But those 2 are my personal favorites. If you like Iris fragrances like classic Dior Homme and Prada L'homme you're gonna dig this new Gentleman.
How strong is the cypress note in this?
Maybe I'm the Outkast here. I wouldn't say this is feminine, but it is much more on the softer side. Not a huge fan, and neither is my wife. Gives me a soft linen type feel. As for mens fragrances I believe your money could be spent much better elsewhere. Find it hard to believe that many women would actually compliment this on a man.

Do you or anyone ere, keep all the boxes when you buy any fragrance...OR does it get tossed?
I keep mine in a much larger box and put them away in case I sell them or we move.
I keep all mine in the boxes, firstly in case I want to take them anywhere or potential moves but also because I have a four year old that they need a level of protection from 😄
