I watched both videos and wondered how well you cleaned the carbs? After you soda blasted them did you pull the slow jets or the pilot jets? The idle is dependant on clean passages and jets. How about the ignition? A timed ignition is critical in these machines. I have a 77 Automatic to do the same process to after a 78 K model. You made a better video than I could so good for you on that part.
Thanks. I actually plan on separating the carbs to clean and rebuild them. I did develop a slow leak, probably and O-ring. I will also go through the ignition system to make sure everything is one point. Coils, sparks and wire will be replaced. Points will probably be replaced as well depending on their condition.
Amazing!! I just got this bike and have so many questions! lol
It's an awesome bike. I got rid of mine and I regret it.
Nice job!
I'll give you credit man, I don't have the patience for that kind of work!
The bike is coming along very nicely though!!
Yeah, it does require some patience bringing those old bikes back to life. But it’s also very rewarding to me when I finish one.

Great vid, music distracting, not necessary
Thanks, I’ll pay more attention to music volume.
Awesome video!! Can you lower the music or turn it off next time so we can hear you better? Keep up the great work!!
Of course. Thanks for the feedback.
