I love what you do with the tools at hand! I still think you'd see even better results in polishing with a dedicated DA polisher with a 2 or 3 inch pad. It will spin much faster than a typical cordless drill can. (5 or 6K rpm). Compounding is typically done at slower speeds while final polishing is done at higher speeds. But kudos to you for making these sweet old bikes shine again!
Something I’ve used to remove emblems is dental floss. Cut off a length appropriate to the size of the emblem and run it back and forth underneath the emblem and the floss will work it’s way under the emblem, cutting through any two-sided tape, if it was used. Just spend the money to get the name brand stuff. The generic floss breaks more easily. The tank cleaned up a treat!
I typical use clay bars when I’m not going to wet sand. When the paint feels rough they are good to use before waxing. Here is a video of the CB360 tank we sanded and polished. Results were amazing! ruclips.net/video/Yas1PYG6iYU/видео.html
You had a little something to work with on the paint and Your not doing a full restoration That will be enough to enjoy this little ride for a long time if You keep it up! But the Chrome and Alloy will take a little more work to look like something but will be worth the effort!
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Wow that really pops!!

The zip tie trick is cool. Motorcycle manufacturers should put a warning label on every bike to use a JIS screwdriver!
You are right about the screwdriver warning! 🤣😂🤣Thanks for watching.
Great job on that Fuel tank.Greatings from Zagreb City Croatia!😎👍
Thank you! Cheers!
My 1970 CB175 has the same tank but in orange. Good job brother.

On my 71 CL350, ive replaced most of the JIS screws with Allen Head bolts. Thats a nice old CB.😊
Great job on the 350 tank. I just bought clay bars to try out on my 83 Magna. Any tips on how to use it would be greatly appreciated.

That's the same color my 1971, i75 was. They called it candy apple paint.
It is a beautiful color! Thanks for watching.
WD 40 is just as good as a spray and wax and will also slow down any rust
That’s a great tip. Thanks for sharing.
Needs new handle bar grips, especially the throttle grip, looking good so far though.
You're right, they look pretty worn. Thanks for watching.
Whats that foam stuff you using?
Spray-way cleaner is awesome!
