Sick video guys, me and a couple buddies of mine have been boarding for 36+ years now with a heli trip, several Cat trips and some sidecountry at Baker, but those trips don’t even come close to the commitment of that trip. Memories you two will never forget
Wow so inspiring! I'm an outdoor adventure enthusiast (through hiked the PCT this year) but just getting into backcountry skiing. I live in Ellensburg and this would be an absolute dream trip of mine. It looks absolutely amazing and thanks so much for sharing your epic adventure. Kendall Catwalk looks like an insane traverse in winter! Seriously impressed with your effort and truly inspired!!!!
Ayyo this is random but we both participated in Jazz Port Townsend in 2013, I recall hearing you play for Wycliffe & Jiggs and thinking you had great chops and a name fit for a mythical jazz trombonist
This is absolutely amazing! Such an amazing looking trek! I have half a mind to learn to ski just to do this since I don't think a snowboard would be plausible.
Split boarding is a legitimate, effective touring tool. Luke Edgar, Gordon Bustamante and I did Glacier Peak in one day, they on snowboards, I on skis, and they opened my eyes to the power of snowboards.
I've watched this video so many times! Great work you two.I've made this hike in the summer, but working toward attempting something like this during winter.. Do you happen to have a GPX or cal topo of the route you did?
Looks like quite the adventure. I noticed one of you using batons. I have been thinking about getting a set myself (Folkrm Wyeast). Is it hard to get used to having a portion of the grip above your hands on the downhill? And how much longer of a pole of you use than you would for alpine
We’re both using the Mystery Ranch Scepter 50. It’s designed as an ice climbing pack but works pretty well for multi day ski trips! Avalanche tool pocket, great suspension, A-frame/side ski carry. Lack of a brain/extension collar is a bit annoying but overall I’m happy with it.

What an amazing adventure and an awesome job of filming and editing too.
crazy that you were able to visit Ice Berg Lake! I've never heard of anyone going there

Fantastic adventure! Great job. Kendall looked mega sketch and Daniel and Pea Soup to Dip Top looked amazing.
Whoa! Different level. Very impressive
Awesome to see that route covered in snow. We'll done!!

You guys are B.A.M.F.🤘
Great video! What is the "bowl" in background at 4:27?
That's the Lynch Glacier on the N side of Mount Daniel right above Pea Soup Lake! Would be an excellent ski
That is absolutely nuts!!!
heyo i stay at a cabin out in yodelin in div. one if you ever want a touring buddy for the area!
Omg thanks for reminding me of holy f***
Wow! Skill! Balls! Fun and the ending! 😂

Yeah I used to use them but don't anymore. The long grip is nice but the extra length is annoying when skiing
Not a bad way to spend Anzac Day.
Very nice my ESTP bro.
Fantastic!
Does that route take you near Goldmyer hot springs.
No, stays more on the ridge
Sick vid!
What mats are you using under your sleeping pads?
Those are HMG ground tarps. They are totally waterproof which is really nice for snow camping
Fuck yeah man. This was epic.
Looks like an epic trip Lane! What kind of pack are you wearing?

Sick AF
Which song is this?!😊
How many miles is this trip? Nice job 👍
Hiking on the trail? like 72. This route, who knows!
It's in their trip report.
Can you share your gps trek?
