We completely agree with you. At this time (years ago now) we had a deal that required us to insert them into a few of our pieces in 2010. Unfortunately it didn't end up benefiting us very much and they are still tied to those reviews. We hope you'll watch more of our work and see what we're doing now. Thanks for watching and commenting!
The guys reviewed the Challenger last year, and it will get discussed a bit in the wrapups. That video is already available on our channel or site. The guys like it, but it would not have liked the winding roads where this was shot. That, and we felt the Mustang vs. Camaro to be the bigger Coke vs. Pepsi rivalry.
@TheGavio93 - Awesome, glad to hear you found us that way! The infamous "Fob-gina" comment is in the Audi A4 review. Thanks for watching, and tell a friend ;-) Lots of great stuff on the way!
I bought one from 2007, my life is hell now, the clutch is heavy, when I go into my Mazda 3, it feels like I m cutting butter shifting, and clutch is like feather, slow but smooth to drive in the city
I LOVE how these cars review cars. YES....they are actually DRIVING the cars, and actually TELLING us how the cars ride, handle, feel, etc. I favor the Mustang GT....but is also OK for me to feel some affection for the Chevy too? Both of these cars deserve to be celebrated....Ford refused to allow an American icon like the Mustang to get stale, and Chevy did the right thing by bringing back THEIR icon....
I still really like the 2010 to 2012 mustang gt interior with the 2013 exterior would be perfect. I’ve been looking to get a 2014 mustang gt but the prices are going up like crazy over the last 6 months.
This show is awesome can't wait for the next one. I think you guys are the only car reviewers besides Matt Farah that are honest about the car good and bad
Honestly, This channel and the smoking tire are both great car channels, probably some of the best on youtube. But I have to hand it to you both in terms of wit and writing. After watching your reviews, I can think of so many great one-liners and quirky metaphors. Do you also do written reviews?
I agree with the unanomous opinion that your guys' videos are much more fun to watch than other ''professional'' articles. You're entertaining, informative, and yet oddly swave in the way that you make someone view a vehicle. Though the rating system is kind of gimmicky to me I really think you guys point out flaws and points of every vehicle in a way that would make someone look at them differently.
@EverydayDriver don't worry! i'm originally a G419 fan and saw an ad for this show on one of his Smoking Tire episodes and had to check it out. what was the episode of the car that had the "fob-gina"?
I've never been a Mustang guy. At all. Everyone and their dog, drives one. I swear you see them everywhere. Whether it's the teenage girl, or the 'tuff guy.' Still...Nice review. Im looking forward to the next part.
i love how the ford guy does nothing but talk up the mustang, and the chevy guy talks down the mustang. goes to prove that its all about your opinion. im actually glad the camaro keeps up and surpasses the mustang in many areas. competition always benefits the consumer. love both cars, but im a mustang guy.
The 4.6 feels a bit unsophisticated, but then so is the live-axle rear end. Thank Ford for creating the 5.0 DOHC V8 & soon (in 2015), the IRS rear suspension.
you know it's funny how the guy says ( of they change the suspension then the car will go world class lol which it did because now it is selling all around the world now :D
... I know this is an old video uploaded to RUclips back in 2010 but to call your partner an idiot seems so unprofessional. But usually when someone's going bald and someone's rockin' a ponytail well...! Great vid, thanks for sharing! 😎
Does the Mustang's glass roof open, or is it fixed? If it opens, then the Camaro REALLY needs T-tops! Also, why isn't the Challenger in this? Sure it isn't as good as the other two, but it just felt like it should've been compared here for some reason. And how does the Genesis coupe compare to the three? It's not a 'muscle car' per se, but still a RWD coupe in the price range. I know you've tested it before, but it still seems like a good comparison on paper at least
BOSS 302 , LIVE REAR AXLE , its the excuse cuz you cant drive ,and if your drag racing a live rear axle > IRS , people swap the IRS for live axle , its lighter and can be made to handle too
Well when the 2015 comes out it'll be pretty impressive. They're already aiming at the boss 302's lap times for the standard GT model. Should be interesting to see what they can achieve when they've fine tuned everything all these years.
matt farah and these two guys are the only good american car reviewers, and that's not an understatement or an exaggeration... that said, ford needs to get rid of the live rear axle. that's what's keeping this car from being appealing to proper sports car enthusiasts, and it's what would keep me in a genesis coupe.
i like the mustang. if someone asked you what is a mustang, you would know what it is, but have a hard time answering. it's a mustang. it has it's own identity and cannot be described using another car. I'm sure the camaro is this way to, but the mustang more so. This is what makes a truly great car. Compare to a genesis coupe, yeah it may handle better, but it's not iconic. it's a copy of a copy. And there are many more like it to come. but there is only ONE mustang. (ONE camaro)
Since the return of the 5.0 in 2011, Ford put the smack down on GM and Dodge. The Mustang costs less and out performs both of them. Plus it gets better gas mileage.
wow i love mustangs but wait until 2011 for the new 5.0 with 412 H/P and the v6 with 305H/P and i know camaro have the big 6.2 but wat about the new mustang gt shelby 500 kr HAHAHA no competiton ford is the best and the mustang never been away like the camaro for 10 years the mustang always been here for 46 years!!!
Unpopular opinion: I prefer the 2010--2014 mustang live rear axle over the 2015 IRS. Having owned both, 2012 V6 manual, and 2015 GT manual performance pack. I like the way my older 'Stang drives better, the '15 on a straight road will grab the grooves agressively and wiggle the car from side to side, similar feeling to a trailer that is slightly fish-tailing. This does not happen too terribly often, but on certain roads, and enough to annoy me. Also I have not found the IRS a very big upgrade from the live axle, having taken the same windy, not so smooth roads at high speeds, I find that the '15 feels those bumps just as much. When the '15 first came out everyone was raving about how much smoother it rode too vs the live axle. And thats the biggest thing it seems to be bad at, my '12 is a fair bit smoother riding. Less maintenence, too. Already had a CV axle shaft seal leak quite badly. With double the miles on it my '12 has had no such issues. Just wish that '12 was the 5.0.
I like how the first thing they said was that they were pony cars not muscle cars. Every other review ive seen of the new Camaro, Challenger and Mustang have just been called a muscle car not a pony car like they actually are
"It's down on the Carmaro by more than100 horsepower" What did they do, use 2011 cars and use 2010 specs? The Mustang 5.0 makes well over 400 hp, and that's being conservative. I've seen dyno tests where the Mustang puts out MORE than the Camaro. Guess the government paid these guys more than Ford did. After all, that's who owns GM now.
Yeah, ST is fun to watch because the guy actually knows little about cars. He seems like one of those 18 year old kids that thinks because he drives a fast car, he knows a lot. And the thing I don't get, is how everyone keeps downgrading the Mustang, all because it has a LRA. Is that seriously the only complaint that people can possibly come up with? I like the review, its unbiased, but that LRA thing gets repetitive after awhile.
Guys, I promise, I love your reviews and I stay update with all of them, but Paul, your opinion on the Mustang in this video is so biased toward Ford, it isn't even funny and it is so obvious.
why couldn't they hire you guys for US top gear!? No one else deserves it or has nearly as much talent...in the world (Clarkson voice). Please take over US tg PLEASE!
what are they talking about the mustang has had no competetion since the 60's! the camaro had a model for almost every year the mustang did. i would even argue that the 3rd gen camaros were better than the 3rd gen mustang.
Shhhiiiit. Corvette is where it's at. Them Bitches are Expensive as hell. Even used Vettes. -_-. Otherwise it would be Vette vs Challenger vs Mustang vs Camaro
Ahhh man.... This video really takes me back. It's interesting to see how far this show has come in the last 4 years.
Wow, thanks man, that's huge. We are very flattered to hear that!
And we hope that all Matt's fans will find and watch us... and vice-versa.
With car prices being what they are in 2024… I can’t be the only one going back in time looking for a nice V8 lol
The seat feels like a leather covered park bench lolol I'm a huge mustang fan, but that was funny.
@drbuddyjul - That's a huge compliment, we really appreciate it! We'd love to get the Top Gear gig, but that's not up to us.
Thanks very much!
aw man if yall woulda waited a year that would have been a 5.0!
I bought one from 2007, my life is hell now, the clutch is heavy, when I go into my Mazda 3, it feels like I m cutting butter shifting, and clutch is like feather, slow but smooth to drive in the city
Thanks! I still believe it 2 years later - thumbs up for you too sir!
I really like how one guys says "i like it!" While the other guy is all "nope." Classic!
I still really like the 2010 to 2012 mustang gt interior with the 2013 exterior would be perfect. I’ve been looking to get a 2014 mustang gt but the prices are going up like crazy over the last 6 months.
@XMG3 the track time is the same as a bmw m3 too if im not mistaken
This show is awesome can't wait for the next one.
I think you guys are the only car reviewers besides Matt Farah that are honest about the car good and bad
im curious about insurance prices. is there a difference in the Mustang and Camaro? and well insurance costs go up in the Mustang next year?
i really hope you guys can test the 5.0 mustang, preferably a 2011 or 2012.
I couldn't agree more. I just want to watch more.
Honestly, This channel and the smoking tire are both great car channels, probably some of the best on youtube. But I have to hand it to you both in terms of wit and writing. After watching your reviews, I can think of so many great one-liners and quirky metaphors. Do you also do written reviews?

@EverydayDriver don't worry! i'm originally a G419 fan and saw an ad for this show on one of his Smoking Tire episodes and had to check it out. what was the episode of the car that had the "fob-gina"?
Touche. Well done. The Camaro's Canadian origin will be discussed in the Camaro piece.
I've never been a Mustang guy. At all. Everyone and their dog, drives one. I swear you see them everywhere. Whether it's the teenage girl, or the 'tuff guy.'
Still...Nice review. Im looking forward to the next part.
where are these roads??? anyone know??
@EverydayDriver I agree! you guys and matt farah!
i like them both
Muscle car rocks !
i love how the ford guy does nothing but talk up the mustang, and the chevy guy talks down the mustang. goes to prove that its all about your opinion. im actually glad the camaro keeps up and surpasses the mustang in many areas. competition always benefits the consumer. love both cars, but im a mustang guy.
@steamedturtle true! if i ran speed tv it would be this, smoking tire, fld, bull run, over haulin', that american muscle car show, and racing of corse
The 4.6 feels a bit unsophisticated, but then so is the live-axle rear end.
Thank Ford for creating the 5.0 DOHC V8 & soon (in 2015), the IRS rear suspension.
ford doesn't change the live rear axle because of the complaints about the terminator cobras irs
The mustang is a muscle car for people that don't like muscle cars. That's why they sell better
@EverydayDriver cool cool. i might be renting a camaro for my birthday :) would be awesome
Lol, the dude from Texas talks like a Californian😂😂😂lol
by the way, you guys have got to review the new mustang 2013 as soon as you get a chance
"You're an idiot" lol. Gotta love the honesty and contrasting opinions.
royal purple is the performance oil that out performs
@EverydayDriver
2 thumbs UP!!!
Where's part 2?
Yeah yeah, but they were a common presence on the road, and always a icon, they never left the public eye.
lol people bitch about the live axle but when they go drag racing , they swap the heavy IRS for the light , strong live axle , the boss proves it
Exactly any true car guy knows to get the live rear soild axle ! Thats what ford is known for strong ass rear ends!
You guys should try to drive one of those Trans Am Depot Trans Ams
What about the 2010 dodge challenger????
not a fan of those fog lights on the gt
@CountryMichael no, the SVT Cobra had IRS.
I like both GM and Ford (GM quite a bit more), but the world would not be the same if the rivalry didn't exist.
@EverydayDriver Where the hell is the Challenger?
mustang all day baby !
I totally agree with that guy! You guys are hilarious! Baha
Coming back to these older videos. Lol the plate name was a poor choice. ED driver😂
you know it's funny how the guy says ( of they change the suspension then the car will go world class lol which it did because now it is selling all around the world now :D
... I know this is an old video uploaded to RUclips back in 2010 but to call your partner an idiot seems so unprofessional. But usually when someone's going bald and someone's rockin' a ponytail well...! Great vid, thanks for sharing! 😎
Yeah, their "good cop bad cop" banter is pretty unique
Does the Mustang's glass roof open, or is it fixed? If it opens, then the Camaro REALLY needs T-tops!

@Rockit181: I totally agree, Camaro better watchout!!!
Says you! Plus the Comaro looks way better and with more power.
Its at the dock.
the smoking tire and everyday driver are leap leaps leaps and more leaps better than ANYTHING you can find on American TV for cars. LEAPS.
🚗💪
The showdown I'm waiting for is the new 5.0 vs Camaro SS.
BOSS 302 , LIVE REAR AXLE , its the excuse cuz you cant drive ,and if your drag racing a live rear axle > IRS , people swap the IRS for live axle , its lighter and can be made to handle too

vidurc well 2015 model will come with both IRS and LIVE REAR AXLE if you're dragster!
David BMW Really? Didn't know that. That's pretty cool
vidurc you welcome man! i can't wait for Detroit Auto show a lot of great stuff are coming out this year:)
cmon whens part 2!!!!!
no way, this mustang corners simularly to 135i and S2000 ?
I like the Challenger :D
@NoxNoctisUmbra 2011 model
matt farah and these two guys are the only good american car reviewers, and that's not an understatement or an exaggeration...
that said, ford needs to get rid of the live rear axle. that's what's keeping this car from being appealing to proper sports car enthusiasts, and it's what would keep me in a genesis coupe.
REVIEW THE 5.0!
I like this Mustang, don't get me wrong, but I'm a little put-off by the fact that the new V6 'stang is nearly as fast as the old V8 :(
WHERES THE CHALLENGER AND CHARGER... PLEASE DO A VID COMPARING THE TOP 4 MUSCLE CARS!! PLEASE!
i like the mustang. if someone asked you what is a mustang, you would know what it is, but have a hard time answering. it's a mustang. it has it's own identity and cannot be described using another car. @testify221 Well, that's debatable.
Mustang turns in better, but Camaro is definetely more stable and safer at the limit.
That and it would add about 5K to the price of the car.
then the challenger comes from behind ad smokes both haha.... but seriously i like the mustang.
You should have waited for the new Mustang!
wow i love mustangs but wait until 2011 for the new 5.0 with 412 H/P and the v6 with 305H/P and i know camaro have the big 6.2 but wat about the new mustang gt shelby 500 kr HAHAHA no competiton ford is the best and the mustang never been away like the camaro for 10 years the mustang always been here for 46 years!!!
they stopped production in 2002
Live rear axle makes it a Mustang :)

What are you Muscle boys doing up on the mountain pass? LOL The mountain belongs to us JDM Men ;)

WHERE IS THE CHALLENGER
Pretty sure the camaro never went away either...

red + white stripes
what are they talking about the mustang has had no competetion since the 60's! the camaro had a model for almost every year the mustang did. i would even argue that the 3rd gen camaros were better than the 3rd gen mustang.
Ever heard of a 2007 Camaro? Try and google it
These cavemen never heard of the Challenger and Charger. I'm a Dodge person!
Shhhiiiit. Corvette is where it's at. Them Bitches are Expensive as hell. Even used Vettes. -_-. Otherwise it would be Vette vs Challenger vs Mustang vs Camaro
My car crashed into your channel.
