So did you know you are one name famous- like Cher? Was watching yesterday’s Dig,Plant,Water,Repeat and she did a really nice private garden tour that a young lady did by herself including building a wonderful shed from scratch. Towards the end Janey asked her who taught her to garden in such a neat way and she sort of said, my mom did a liberal and some friends and then we kind of shouted, “Laura, Laura taught me to garden” and Janey laughed ad said. “Yes, of course, Laura has taught us all to garden!” We all like how you teach us to garden in really a relaxed way. It won’t always be perfect-so just enjoy the journey even the mistakes and failures, and change what you do whenever you want to.
I love that you show the good, the bad, and the ugly. We all have plants that need to be repotted, and plants that die and need to be replaced and somehow it makes you feel better about it when even The Queen of Gardening herself is dealing with it. Which got me thinking....Do you realize what an inspiration you are to literally thousands of new gardeners? You have taught so many of us how to take care of our plants and gardens. There are so many more gardening channels on RUclips now that very clearly learned everything they know from you (they do everything just like you!) and I know you don't watch anyone else on RUclips so you probably have no idea the ripple effect you have caused. It's really quite amazing, and you guys should be so proud of what you have accomplished with Garden Answer. I know personally you (and Jess from Roots and Refuge) have opened a door for me that I always told myself I wasn't good at. I've always had a small veggie garden and was just kind of meh with it. and I told myself I just had a brown thumb and wasn't really that good with any of it. Turns out I was just not good at putting the right plant in the right space. I live for gardening now and am actually kind of good at it. Who knew???? Lol Anyway, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting yourself out there and teaching us. I can imagine it's not always easy so I just hope you know how much it means to me and thousands of others! I broke my wrist a couple weeks ago and have been kind of down not being able to get out in my gardens like normal but it helps to have something gardening related to look forward to in the mornings. You make my day, and my gardens, brighter. Thank you, Garden Answer ❤️
Those asparagus/springeri ferns have those horrible thorns. Learned using it as a florist and repotting. Usually infect me😮
❤😊 Awesome and Thank U for speaking truth, I'm so Grateful too, my Hubby's is learning from both Laura & Aaron just because I didn't say it, butt our yard has befitting because they took and started Garden Answers, Thank's Again From both of Us, Our Hearts are getting healthier too ❤😊
I love that Laura shows us things that aren’t perfect. She shows us her boo boo’s, too. I love that she’s so open and honest! I’ve learned so much from her!!
Thank you for showing us you have days when things aren’t perfect. I really appreciate it.
Hope you have a speedy recovery. I had a tooth pulled yesterday and taking it easy. Laura’s videos are so entertaining.
Thank you, Laura for showing us not just the glamorous side of gardening but all the dirt, sweat and mundane work^-^ You are such a hands-on gardening host!!
Love watching an experienced gardener hack and tear at plants with absolutely no fear. Lol. I’m always afraid of disturbing mine. Laura, you’re such a great teacher😊
It is almost impossible to kill asparagus ferns. If anything all she did was slow it down.
Yeah asparagus fern is a weed of national significance here in Australia. You have to crown them to kill them. Cutting off the roots won't hurt it one bit
Isn't she?!! ❤ She is also a fan of " if you don't love it, let it go and plant something else that brings you joy!"
I always keep a long serrated knife with garden tools just for that purpose. Does the job
I Love “Small Consistent Efforts” ! You hit it out of the park with the parterre garden!!!
Sooo pretty, you cannot go wrong with shades of purple, shades of pink, delicate corals and frilly loose greenery, I really like your sense of genteel and happy colors, it makes you happy!
THE GALLOWAY URN IS THE BEST EVER - THAT COMBO IS JUST PRETTY & SWEET. ALL THE POTS LOOK GREAT - I AM SO LOVING THE FERN ADDITION - I AM SUCH A FERN GIRL! THANK YOU LAURA!
I love it when springeri blooms and then little green berries will follow. When you gave the plants a shower, you could almost see them stand up taller and shine a little brighter. I bet it feels good to check those chores off your list♡ Can we talk about the Galloway Urn a minute? It turned out just stunning! I think this is my favorite combo you have ever planted! That wire vine!♡
The green berries eventually turn red. I had one in a hanging basket drop the berries into a garden bed. The plant has naturalized in the bed and comes back every spring.
This was a fun day Laura.
"Small, consistent, efforts" I love this quote! You are truly an inspiration to all us home gardeners! Thank you so much for bringing us along on your journeys!
❤❤❤
Heliotrope is such a favorite of mine. The pots turned out so lovely. The galloway urn is a favorite, even empty! With the selection of flowers you used in it, wow! Just beautiful.
These arey favourite videos. Much more relatable than the large projects. It gives me the inspiration to tackle everyday garden chores
It's always lovely to watch new things going in but when you show us that you are just like the rest of us and sometimes things get away from you, I have a whole new respect for you. #reality
I’ve never seen asparagus fern blossoms! How pretty❤
The Galloway urn is stunning by itself, but you have taken it to the next level with your planting arrangement! Another beautiful Laura creation ❤
It instantly became a stunner!!! It's one of my favorites, to say the least.
Loving the wire vines!
Your repotting method is so helpful and gives me confidence. Watching you be careful yet breaking up the roots shows the plants can take it and need that.
"Small, consistent effort." Best advice ever. Wow, that's messy work. That fern looks so pretty there in its new pot. Look how green the foliage on that kumquat plant is - remember when Laura repotted it, it was yellowing quite a bit. So happy now - how great. The clematis on the trellis on the house is the fullest I remember seeing - so pretty. Oh my word! That heliotrope - so very beautiful, the foliage is gorgeous. I love the mini coleus. I haven't done well with ferns in the past, but I have moved to a new state, perhaps it's time to try again. I'm loving the Lamium in that one pot.
Yes, the asparagus fern looks much happier in its bigger pot! Definitely the right move!
Hi Laura and family and crew. I just want to say thank you for this video. I don't know if I've watched hundreds or thousands of your videos at this point. I am so appreciative of your content. I really enjoyed the relaxing feeling of this video - I know you're doing a pretty mundane activity transplanting things, but it's both validating and motivating. Thank you so much ❤
Container planting projects are always my favorite! 🪴
You cracked me up watching you working with that fern 😄 At the same time you gave a good demonstration on how resilient plants can be.
So glad you allowed us to see the real life stuff… how many times have I forgotten something only to remember later and it be a mess!! Thank you!!!
Love that wire vine also.
I learn so much about gardening from this channel. Thanks Garden Answer!
"Small, consistent efforts."
Daily disciplines that teach our children, and keep our life in order. ❤
Really helpful to see how you got the hostas and boxwood out of the pots without disturbing the rest of the arrangement.
The Galloway Urn combination is my favorite of all you’ve done in that urn. The scale and combination was just spot on. Love seeing all of the new plants for 2025.
As hard as you work, NEVER apologize for anything you haven't been able to get to! You are a true inspiration and bring so much happiness to we viewers with your positive attitude, your creativity, your appreciation of beauty and your enviable relationships with family! So fun to see you create this amazing estate! Thank you so much!♥
Laura you are definitely Queen of container arrangements…. Stunning
Good morning all have a safe and blessed day ❤️
I never thought of combining the colors coral and purple-it’s so pretty. I love your saying, small consistent efforts pay off. That is so true!
I ooohhed and ahhhhed my way through this entire video!!! The lovely Hartley and the freshly washed greenery of the plants was so peaceful and cooling!! And then those urns are absolutely gorgeous!!! I am with you on loving the wire vines in your arrangements this year!!! I hope I can find some of those for next year!! This was just a joy to watch and I thank you!!!
I've been a subscriber to your channel for over 4 years now and hove learned a TREMENDOUS amount about gardening from you. It's so nice to see those glimpses that you are in fact just like us when we leave pots out in the sun for too long, or put blinders on to maintenance tasks that are easy to put off. Thanks fir always keeping it real!
All the planters are just gorgeous!! You are so down to earth, I love it! You showing us the failures, and admitting your shortcomings is part of what keeps us coming to you daily!! (and bingeing older videos). You keep it real for us, put on no airs, always showing us the nitty gritty side of gardening. That's what's given you the success you have. Blessings on you Laura!!
I’m glad I’m not the only one that forgets plants.
I fell in love with the heliotropium a couple years ago when my son got married outside. I planted the containers with these. Their colors were purple. It was beautiful. Now I buy them all the time. I lost my smell from covid so I really can't smell them. But others can. Your containers are beautiful!
I hope you got to sit back and relax by the kitchen door, later on and enjoy the beauty of your newly planted pots. Everything looks stunning with the color mixes. 💜💚💕
All the plants look happy in their new pots. The area around the kitchen door is so pretty. The wire vine is a great spiller for many reasons including that is allows you to still see so much of the urn is it in. Have a blessed day everyone.
A blessed evening everyone!
Laura! I’m in love 😍. The scent! The purple! of the heliotrop mixed with apricot and lime green! Perfect placement to enjoy wonderful scent of the heliotrope. Surrounded by clematis, ferns, hostas, and Japanese maple!
The urn planting are gorgeous as well. Thank you for another beautiful day of inspiration.
So funny, just when you think the pot is full, Laura pops in 3 more plants!! 🤣💖🌸
The heliotrope with the coleus is such a pretty combination.
The new purple flower is stunning ❤
When Laura said “I’m gonna need a bigger pot”, it reminded me of that scene in the movie, Jaws “ we’re gonna need a bigger boat” 🦈. I absolutely love the partier garden.
Fresh and beautiful planters make the area feel so comfortable--you want to go and sit there ❤
I absolutely love the passion and joy that you have for what you do, it actually makes me happy to watch your videos, and I don't do any kind of gardening whatsoever.
Russell! So nice to see you. Please don't let Douglas usurp your position! 🐈 ❤
Exactly
That Douglas kid is indeed a bully.
I wonder if....the boys are missing Cheddar?
@@janzatovich6677Aaron got rid of Cheddar. What a bad deceitful man and control freak. He is Not much of a Christian. Most healthy watchers like the videos without Aaron.😊

Wunderschöne Zusammstellungen und Kombinationen, Deiner Blumenbehälter vielen Dank ❤L.G.Anja from Germany
That wire vine this year is awesome!! It’s so whimsical!! That unique stone urn at the end is my fave!! ❤❤❤❤❤
The urn with the Cuphea is stunning.
Such a clever trick to put the old pot in the new pot when repotting ❤
The parterre gardens are my absolute favourite in all your gardens, those colours are just magical together and the boxwoods are a great border! Love that❤
It does. Here in the U.K. we would add a beautiful brick wall around it. Very English 😂
I love when I see some of my plants in your videos. You had lamium in one of the pots. I use that as a ground cover in my front yard flower bed. It blooms from Spring throughout the Summer. I also planted heliotrope in full sun one year and it died. I’m going to try again next year. I hope next year the garden centers near me carry the 2025’s that you featured. They don’t normally have a large variety of Proven Winners. Thank you for your beautiful videos Laura and Aaron.
Thanks Laura for this video. You inspired my backyard gardening channel . My backyard, fruit trees and neighboring farms were battered and trashed last week by Hurricane Beryl on the island of Jamaica. Seeing your video gives me hope🎉❤ 🙏
I love the urns outside the Hartly. I've watched you forever and nothing that you have created is as beautiful as those. Congratulations!!!
Thank you for the demonstration on repotting the fern and dealing with such a big root system.
Thank you so much for highlighting Heliotrope! It has fallen out of fashion and is very difficult to find commercially in my zone 8a. I have been growing mine from seed for years! You will love the fragrance every time you walk that path. So beautiful in your planters!
Thx Laura. Collecting Cupvia. Glad to see news coming out next year.
Thx Laura. Everything is beautiful. The Ferns grow crazy here in zone 10.
Love the arrangement in the Galloway urn with the wire vine, gorgeous.
All the arrangements are so pretty to, love the purples
Oh my!!! I think this is my favorite for the Galloway Urn!
Great combination!
I made a pot for my patio table, 4 hours of sun. Never planted Irish Moss before, put some pink clover next to it. After 3 months, it looks beautiful. Clover of course doubled, and the moss has spread around the pot with the prettiest, dainty daisy like flowers. So cheerful in the morning.
Here in S. E. Georgia, we use Asparagus fern for erosion control and after seeing the root system, you can see why. Also, when they loaded with blooms, the perfume they emit is amazing!
So many people tell me they have a fragrance.....I can't smell it😢 but I love them even without a fragrance.
@@rootelation486 They only put out their fragrance for a couple of days. I was out in the yard and didn't know where it was coming from and then I saw their blooms.
@EastRiverHomestead they are along my driveway, I have to walk past them everyday 😭 either to get in or out of the car or turn on the hose. Guess I can't have everything....🤷🏾♀️😊
@@rootelation486 I can't have it all either. 😐😑😶
A grand rejuvenation show! How satisfying! Who knew greenhouses require dusting? Great job, much appreciated by your green friends.
I truly needed to see the cleaning and repotting video. In Northern California Zone 9b dry and windy, Temperatures 85 - 107 My inside plants are struggling in the heat and air conditioning.
I like that wire vine also, adds so much
I love you guys and I've watched you from about the beginning and I'm going to be a little tough here. The annuals are much better than the tired looking hostas. It's good to see some simple pot design as it helps the homey feeling we all love. Don't stretch things too thin with too much big new stuff and expanded business.
Laura,…. All of the planters turned out s o beautiful. Love the combination of flowers, bright and cheery. You work so hard and in the heat too. ❤Pat
When i saw Russell...Anyone else, like me that cant help but wonder how Cheddar is doing ? Maybe Bethany would consider showing us a clip of our little fur buddy settling in at her place? ❤
How did you find out about Cheddar?😊
Love the colors in planters
I love asparagus ferns and it's been my experience that they are so resilient and tough. They take a lickin' and keep on tickin'.
I have enjoyed watching all you beautiful changes to your property for about 7 years. One of my favorite flowers is the Heliotrope.
The replantings look gorgeous!🪴
I love potting plants! Makes me feel so happy to see them potted up!🥰
What a peaceful view of the garden.
I love your pots. I’m planing to go out in my garden and change my things. All because I see how your garden is. Thank you here inSwitzerland we are getting more warmer
Good morning, Laura ☕️I love the kitchen container withe the Fern. It really compliments the Japanese Maple, too! 😍 Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈🐈
will you be showing us your gardens in the fall and winter? It helps to see what others go through during seasonal transition
Oh my goodness your property is just dreamy. So beautiful. It just makes you smile and wish I was there strolling the land and enjoying all your hard work. Everything looked so gorgeous and what I love most about your videos is your human element side. I feel less of a failure when I know that even your plants struggle sometimes due to nature. The heat have destroyed one of my watermelons, and my Japanese maple tree. I love your videos. I watch them over and over again. Very relaxing. ❤ thank you so much for what you do! ❤
I love the color combo near the Hartley. Gorgeous! 💜🩷💜🩷
After seeing you using the wire vine this season, I made a point of adding some to my containers and I’m also loving it so much now! Just such an airy texture. And I was happy to see you still planting annuals recently. In Southwestern Ontario (Canada) we’ve been having 35 degree days, plus 80% humidity! But keeping any new annuals watered seems to do the trick. Thanks for all of the inspiration!
I LOVE those new purple “puff ball” flowers!! Especially beautiful with the coral!! 💜💜💜
Robins will often nest and raise another family in the same spot the following year. If you leave their nest in your lollipop tree they may return next spring. 😊💕
The container that had the boxwood is so gorgeous! New favorite mix!
Love the color in those pots - the heliotrope is stunning! And the combination with the coleus just amps it up.
I am loving the wire vine as well as the new introductions.
I planted a fern fillers once…only once! When I went to clean out the pots for winter that mess is what I found and I was tough just getting them out of the pot because there was a taper at the top of the pots. Even though I love the way they look, I have never forgotten that one experience.
Purple and coral has always been my favorite color combo with flowers!
Your projects are always so helpful. Manhandling the roots of that fern was exactly what I had to do with a potted plant in my yard, and it turned out very well, but looked bad for a few weeks. Your program is like having a master in gardening at my side.i have learned so much from you. Thanks!
Man that asparagus fern roots are something. Love the repotting of it. Perfect place in the greenhouse for it.
Beautiful ❤️. I cut the excess roots off of my asparagus ferns also. I love asparagus ferns. They are so versatile since they can handle full shade to full blistering sun. They also winter over great in my garage. Trim back to the soil and water once per month in the winter. Thanks for the great videos!
Laura introduced me to the wire vine and I am thrilled with my hanging baskets this year. Such a simple plant but what a difference it has made
I’ve been watching you since 2014, and I’m always ready for each mornings episode. The potted plant look amazing. A tip for the asparagus fern especially in hot dry climates. Any of those little bulbs that get into the landscape will take off and they are so hard to get rid of. Cheers 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 Bronwyn
I STILL LOVE your Galloway combo from last year- it lives rent free in my mind.....blessings from Ontario Canada :)
I was just smiling & waiting for you to see those fern roots! 🤣 Whatever you put it in, count on it being root bound by fall! (Ok, now I'm not the only one to have gotten that surprise!)
That plant you dug out of the bowl looks so happy now ❤
….. I know right! I didn’t realize how big it was! Looks SO much better now.
Love the Color’s you selected for the planters…stunning.
Love those coral an purple flowers too! Such a nice pop of color ❤❤❤
EXCELLENT- a video I can relate to, especially the cleaning! THANKS!🌸
The Galloway urn is gorgeous all on its own, but the combination of plants you chose... oh my! Stunning! Everything is looking really great! Way to tackle that fern! 😂
Good Morning! 🪻I love those soft cool colors!! I need to clean & repot a few of my houseplant containers! 😃💜🌸💗🌿
I’m loving the wire vine too. Wish it was perennial in my area❣️
