Does anyone else feel like these guys are single-handedly sustaining the glory and magic of the early days of MTV with these clever, colorful, and amazing videos?
spot on man, this is what I expect MTV to become, but instead it became all stupid. These guys need to take over the world

As much as I love visiting avatar country on the website, seeing the film getting put on youtube too is such good news.

I literally just got blessed by the RUclips rabbit hole of new videos and came upon Avatar, 2 weeks ago! And what timing for this. Definitely like this band a lot! Only other band I know outta Sweden (I believe they're from there) is In Flames.

Yeah I saw Avatar when they were touring the US with Trivium, I’ve been on the fence awhile but this video has convinced me to join.

I love the fact that itvwas a creepy section of the movie and it was also a nightmare to record. Its sad they didn't feel good recording it but its sort of cool how it was unerving video and production wise
it reminds me of a mix between Haxan, Eraserhead and Evil Dead 2!
The songs for the album make so much more sense now that I've seen this.

Johanne is one of the best singers I have ever heard. He has a perfect guttural scream, and can hit some beautiful high notes. The entire band is great. I caught them late but trust me, I'm catching up.
The one thing I love about this band is the sheer passion for their craft. Most bands focus on "making it" rather than following their hearts with the music and you can really tell that these guys have a passion that has not been seen for so many recent years. It's like when rock and roll was becoming a thing in the 60's and 70's and music now can just never capture that feeling anymore.

Yeah, they deserve it. I've heard they aren't in the spotlight as much as they should be over the wildly successful bands ie AX7 and as a result under the radar. BUT, with fans like you and I we must support and share their music for all to hear!

This has a better story line, characters and a plot twist than modern star wars.
These guys are having so god damn much fun doing what they love! It’s where the magic comes from.

I love this band. I saw them live for the first time last October in Vegas. It was there I realized how serious they take their music. They aren't just in it for the money, but also for the love of music

Avatar is absolutely one of the best and most entertaining bands in the fucking world.
The last time i've happily sat through what was essentially a musical was The Doomstar Requiem. I'm so glad this got funded. Avatar truly is the band we all need but don't deserve.
In chapter 2, Johannes is just living his best life floating around the King.
Story gets better and better each time I watch it
So, it's a movie about Our Metal King, and his loyal Metal Minions, fighting The War To End All Wars, to keep his beloved Metal, in his, even more beloved, Metal Kingdom of Avatar Country; for Him and all His People, to jam and head bang to, and for all to enjoy together, in unity, always and forever.

Their guitar work is just some of the most heavy yet also some of the most gorgeous sounds Ive ever heard.
Avatar is such an important band. Metal in America has been more or less dead since Grunge came along. Avatar not only carries the torch of metal music, but they have elevated it in such a beautiful way with their melodious style. I hope today’s youth are inspired by these great guitarists to learn the instrument and make metal. The Avatar Country theme is so appropriate in a time where EDM, talentless noise, is mainstream.
I’ve always thought of metal as musicians music, because it is probably a bit too complex for simpletons, and Avatar is the best example of this phenomenon. They are almost too good, because I can barely keep up with half of it, but it’s absolutely incredible music and highly underrated. Please keep up the great work! Feathers and Flesh, Hail the Apocalypse, and Avatar Country are all so phenomenal that they should be promoted for generations. It’s certainly not music for everyone but musicians need to hear it.
Avatar and their music makes me so emotional, they gave me so much great life changing experience i can't thank them enough.

Skylar Tucker It was free the first week. Not at first this though, but then they were confronted with fans on their social media and made it accesible for a week and also made citizenship a bit cheaper.

as much as i love this movie ( i have watched it six hundred and sixty-six times) the only criticisim i have is why not end with Statue of a King, seems to be the perfect ending

Avatar is my new favorite band, and has the potential to be forever more. Dude has a HUGE range for metal/rock vocals. Clean, scream, growl, power metal with like Iron Maiden esq vocals. Just a huge talent! Plus, he dresses like if you just crossed The Crow with The Joker and Kefka from FF6. There is quite literally nothing about this I don't like. Yet another Swedish band that is a favorite of mine, them now ranking at #1. Favorite video sequence in this musical is Legend of the King. There's literally nothing I don't like about an evil looking clown dude flailing around the sky shouting death metal!
