I love that they can't resist playing together.
Came here to say this. They just have to start playing when they like it
How can you dislike someone with such a majestic moustache
That opening riff to Hail the Apocalypse is ingenious! "Walk" level simplicity but heavy as shit!
Exactly!
Not to mention Johannes vocals are HILARIOUS AND EPIC!
It's the first song I heard from them.
on point
It’s the way they use the tremolo that makes it so great
I absolutely love when guitar players can’t play their songs without having practiced it recently. It means they are writing things that challenge them and stretch their talent - and not just being lazy. It also proves that they are in fact human and not a robot.
To hear a Trooper cover by Avatar would be insane. Johannes definitely has the range to do it.
I agree!!! The Trooper in B!
YES!!!
It would be cool, but Johannes has expressed his thoughts on popular bands doing cover songs. He understands why small bands do it to start somewhere, but thinks after a while it lacks creativity when bands keep doing it, like Five Finger Death Punch.
Yuuuup !
Johannes has range to everything XD
It's rare to see a king with a shorts
ruclips.net/video/k2GOGmxjpCY/видео.html
The King
When you're king you can come to work in grunge casual any day
For real haha. I feel like I shouldn't be watching this at all 🤣 Don't wanna disrespect the king
He got a One Piece tat
You can hear how incredibly connected these guys are. They jam a lot as band and it shows!
Avatar is such a good band. More people should listen to them lol.
I found them on accident, and my God I'm glad I did. Definitely in my top 5 favorite bands
Yes, they’re so underrated!
Those accents! That mustache! The back story! I'm hooked! Will be looking them up shortly. (Update.... LET IT BUURRRNN!!!!)
@@AllHailTheNoise I heard about them before I knew them. Then I saw a reaction video for bloody angel.
No, they sucks
Just in case anyone was wondering those are Ibanez rg prestige’s 3770fz in transparent red with gold hardware. Jonas uses emg 81 85 with a true velvet and Tim uses Dimarzio dominions with the true velvet
Are you sure Jonas has the single wired up? Mixing active and passive is a bit of a shit show
NIAL_IST yeah it is wired and he knows it’s not the best. In a Q&A he mentioned wanting to go back to passive
I was wondering!
They look like the limited edition fender game of thrones strats, most triumphant!
You're a god damn hero
Avatar is def one of the most underrated bands. They put on one hell of a show.
Just saw them at the palladium outdoors in Worcester they put on an Amazing show!
Avatar with Loudwire! Finally! omg
2012. Avatar - Let it Burn was uploaded by loudwire
@@theguyfromdirethorns8188 yeah i know, my fav performance by Avatar btw c:
About fucking time!
Now they have to do protest the hero
I didn't know I needed to hear Beatles licks played in B standard but I did, I definitely did.
So you should definitely check "Day Tripper Medley" by Type O Negative :) Also in B standard.
And Avatar is beyond amazing!
Love how Tim smiles with his eyes, love them they are so nice guys
the way these guys play together is crazy
At 0:45 you can tell these dudes really compliment one another.
At 2:28 yeah that was Zakk Wylde.
Day tripper on distortion, whoa...that is pretty fucking cool 3:40
"i started practicing on the down stroking..." 5:00 yes, I have been there too.
5:54 HAIL THE APOCALYPSE!
7:02 ENJOY
8:00 that is the absolute feeling playing an Avatar song.
What's the riff at 5:00?
It’s trespass by the haunted
underrated band, easily one of the best metal bands
"Let It Burn" was the riff that got me into Avatar! Absolute balltearer, these guys rock! \m/
Balltearer hahahah wtf
It is great to see Avatar is growing faster and better
I already loved Kungen but the fact he's a Maiden fan makes me love him even more.
These guys are guitar monsters. I honestly I can't think of any better duo.
There is something in the water in Sweden, these guys are unreal song writers!!
I love how their guitars are essentially identical, but the artwork on each is slightly different.
they are probably hand painted
@@jdcp42 yup, carved and painted by swedish artist named Jesper Eriksson. The avatar bass player Henrik has his bass also carved by this artist, I think. Really original and beautiful guitars
I saw them back in 2018 and just drooled over their guitars. Seriously, if you ever get a chance to go see them live do so. They really know hoe to put on a great performance!
@@staceycoultas5014 I've actually never listened to them before this video but wow. So far I'm impressed and yeah, those guitars are beautiful pieces of art.
I totally agree. They are great musicians and their concerts are awesome shows. You can see that Avatar realy love what they do and the fans love them for that 🖤
btw their new album is sick 🤘
They have such a connection, its incredible. Also: 6:45
One of the most underrated bands today!
I loved them in The Last Airbender
Same lol
I thought it was the blue people lmao
wow 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@buckcorina8959 are you okay?
@@AzathothsAlarmClock Toph trained well those lily-livers
Hearing these classic riffs in B standard is just throwing me for a loop 😂
The guy on the right looks like what cliff burton would’ve looked like today
Kinda yeah without the mustache
Never noticed it... Fuck if cliff was still here... Much love for that comment !
Hell yeah I thought this too.
Two Swedish bois just jamming
Yeah finally avatar in loudwire !!one of my favorite bands 🤟🤟🤟
I just saw these guys live first time, they’re INCREDIBLE. Absolute showmen. See them if you have the chance
Would love to see more of them on here! The talent it takes to write in almost every subgenre of metal in a different language than you grew up speaking (in their case two i think) and still have more powerful lyrics than most other bands out there is crazy.
The left dude looks like Barney Stinson before he wore suits.
Omg he does
Also the same accent that Barney has when he was disguised as an Estonian juggler
Would've been him if he went to peace core 😂
Duuuuuuude, you win the Internet
Hahaha legen...........dary!!!!
The finishes on their guitars are SO good... love that they're matched.
To say nothing of their new riffs; long live Avatar!
wormhole from the new album is one of the heaviest things you'll ever hear
Check out demolisher by slaughter to prevail
Check out stairway to heaven. Brutaly heavy song
Sotis175 😂😂
sounds influenced by Devin Townsend
@@dedo3191 ohh that would scare even johannes the singer
Also the fact that Tim played AC/DC makes me cry because I lived in the same street as Brian Johnson, that band is very special to me, knowing he learned their songs as practice just makes me all warm and fuzzy, Avatar is the best band man ❤
In ten years these guys are gonna be on all the 'best guitar duo' lists. Been playing together since they were kids and the way they lock in live is amazing. Saw them play together on one guitar too.
More please! These two I could watch for hours.
They're so good and so humble! Love these 2! All my respect to these guys 🖤
Saw these guys last night... incredible... awesome collaboration and chemistry... together they are a machine.
They sound just as good live as they do in the albums it’s incredible
I love the fact, that Tim has said "ooof" 8:30
Metal Is Religion. Metal Will Never Die!
Religion? Nope.
Dimas Dafirst it's a community so comparing it to a religion isn't a bad thing
@@josephprince3111Yeah, I feel you. I said 'nope' because religion has its dogmas and all that bs and in my point of view metal and music/art in general represents freedom and not a bunch of rules.

I absolutely love Jonas with all my heart, I was inspired to learn guitar years ago when I discovered Joey Jordison and Jim Root but he's the man who made me pick up a guitar and actually learn. I'm only 4 mins into the video and I got to witness him playing Iron Maiden and the Beatles like.. is this real life? I've seen Avatar at Download 2023 and they are by far my favourite band but Jonas Jarlsby has an extra special place in my heart and if I ever get the honour to see them live again or even better to meet them I'd respectfully cut my still beating heart out of my chest for him with zero hesitation
I love Avatar, I'm a proud Citizen, long live the King! 🖤🖤🖤
God of thunder in B standard 👌👌👌👌
Tim sure likes his whammy
One of my favorite bands right now
"Click" waaaHHHHHH "Click"
Bruh, both of them doing that had me in tears lol
I love that avatar has grown in popularity so much lately. I love this band and would love to see them live
these two are like one .. amazing chemistry
It's hilarious to hear them play Iron Maiden, Kiss, ACDC riffs in B standard lmao
Awesome. I could watch these dudes play riffs all day long.
my favourite band right now, couldn't reccomend them more!
This band is exceptional, awesome stage presence and music...the fact that they are so loyal to themselves make the band that much more awesome.
Avatar is really underrated they finally made it to loudwire
You guys are amazing! The guitars is why I love avatar
Two of the most underrated guitar virtuosos in metal... Love Avatar! 👍
These dudes are pretty cool. the first song I heard from them was “what I don’t know.” I now have all their albums
I love their music
Please do more Avatar stuff
I relate to Tim with each album. Be like Tim.
Tim's hair looking majestic as ever.
i love these guys such amazing guitar players ❤️ the new album is amazing!
The first time heard them was when I went to see Babymetal last September for my birthday. They were the opening band. Lets put it this way, I did not walk in an Avatar, but I most certainly walked out a fan I would love to see them again as a headliner. Can't wait for concerts to make their comeback!!!
Saw them last night for the second time, they were incredible
04:58 that’s the Gothenburg sound right there, so good:)
So true! What is the name of that song? 😁
@@krisp2000trespass
Love the Boys could watch for hours
This is awesome!! Thank you for sharing!! 🤘🏻
Best guitar duo ever
Underrated band
Damn those guitars are gorgeous
I feel so lucky i saw these guys in a venue of only a few hundred, such great stage prescence and atmosphere plus me and the king headbanged together 🤘
Both great guitarists in Avatar. Also it's good to know they both have different pickup setups so they can tell who's guitar is which with both playing Ibanez Prestige lol
Diden't really know much about them before i saw them live last year, really enjoyed that show even without knowing their songs :-)
Will check this band out. heard good things about them
Make sure you also check out their videos! They’re the cherry on top of everything :D
@@raccoon404x7 I love how much they put into their music videos. Some of the songs can be a lil strange for my liking but some really awesome songs! Great Band! Loudwire please feature more bands so we can actually check them out!
Iron Maiden has had that effect on all of us. First time I heard Steve Harris play intro to Run to the Hills...I needed 4 strings.
Avatar!!!🤘🎸🤘
Horn's in the air and keep them there !
Great shit! Sure hope to see these guys live again someday
I love that Tim listened to Avatar before he was in the band
Them playin The Trooper was sick
Avatar is freaking awesome!
That riff in When All But Force Has Failed is sooooo good, super complicated though
I love how hard that second guitarist picks, makes it sound so heavy!
you really got me, by The Kinks.
Was jamming their albums yesterday
🤣🤘🤘
I adore this series, such a great idea, thank you!
End of our ride is such a good song and I want the tabs
That on/off switch is amazing.
Afraid to shoot strangers is awesome.
Especially the end part!
This is my favorite series on the channel. I watch all of these even if I don’t know or like the artist
3:10 avatar playing the trooper. Best moment of my life
I first heard about them when they were put on the Sonic Temple 2019 bill. Glad they were. I love em. And they put on a GREAT show.
Them bois finally getting more recognition
I too play the Riff Raff riff all the time and another cool AC DC riffs are Landslide and Beating around the Bush .
I love the groovy riffs in Gwar's 'Knife in Your Guts'
Wow who are these guys? Definitely checking them out!
Love Avatar!! 🤘🤘🤘
Bloody angel. Paint me red. Hail the apocalypse.
Tsar Bomba is still one of my favorite riffs from these guys
