They're bars that are secured to suspension arms that attempt to keep the arms in-sync by linking them across the middle. How much flex the bar allows determines how much independent travel is allowed across the arms. Thus, when taking corners that would usually cause one suspension to compress and one to expand, the sway bar fights this shift and prevents body roll that would lead to traction loss. To little allowance of shift, however, makes it hard to handle uneven terrain
Thanks for the vid. Finally I've got my concern dispelled about how the sway bar should be tighten to the chassies. No other videos of installing sway bars show this
I installed mine but they don't seem to work. Can you make a troubleshooting video? I'm not sure if my shocks are just shot or what. I have the 4x4 slash with the plastic factory shocks. thanks.
Tried installing mine yesterday. The front went on fine with no probelm. The rear didn't wanna go on to well. It rests on the camber link prettt bad and the arms rub into the back end if my chassis. I'm using Strc A arms and i'm thinking the hole where the link for the sway arm goes is to far out? Anyone else having this issue?
awesome video!! i was wondering if you could show me how to change the caster block on the traxxas slash 4x4. i was racing when i hit another driver and my caster block broke into 2. if u can please reply back. -traxxasman1770

Hey I have a question ? Do sway bars even work or help on a slash 4x4 that is 4 week drive? And are they even worth it?
@seadoorider7 they are the upgraded traxxas shocks

Same problem on mine
@Daylo97 honestly, I assume so.
@MaTtJaNiToR2597 it can more smoothly take rough terrain.
This can only be done to 4wd right?
is it the same on a stampede?
TheBubbles069 4x4 yes
@weiss27md well it only makes sense there.
Thank you this made fitting my sway bar kit a breeze
Thank you so much for this video its very much appreciated!
What kind of shocks are those
what type of tires are those
Nicely don! Great job on this vid!
Thank you so much for your help.
Well i know it can work both ways, but its suppose to be the other way around, look at the pictures on RPM web.
Good job!
@motocrossrider183 I think I shall...as soon as the snow melts
@weiss27md iam not shure but i think it could be done on a slash 2 wheel drive. not shure.
What are sway bars?
keep one side of the suspension from moving as much. This keeps the chassis from rolling to one side in turns.
wheels?
ninja!!!!
Yes it is!
You should make a video of you driving your slash 4x4!
Can someone tell me what sway bars actually do?
on an actually car they prevent the body of the car to roll
Yeah he's right, the back piece is upside down. Look for the rpm logo and make sure its right side up.
you helped a lot thx
ya it is
Thanks👍👍👍👍
it goes in from the back
yes it will
