Thank you so much for putting this together. Just like a few other viewers, I broke something in that area and didn't know how to properly disassemble.
very helpful, as I was not sure what to do with the hex shaped plastic part. Getting it off was as easy as shown. Getting it back on, which involved perfectly centering the pin, was a pain.
my stub axle didn't break but the piece next to it, i guess you called it the bearing carrier, broke in half on my rustler. this video was very helpful. Thanks so much for posting.
@InsaneRebel360 wow awesome! thanks so much for the kind words and the thumb! Hoping we helped, and hopefully you subscribed and help spread the word :)
Thanks. You know how you have several umbrellas. One at home, one in the car and one at work so you will always have one handy but somehow they all end up together? That is what happened to my needle nosed pliers. It took me longer to find a pair than to finish this job. Thanks again.
Great video, I'm new to RCs. U mentioned to clean and lube the bearing housing. What kind or type of lube do u recommend. I have to order a rear stub and wanted to order the lube too. Thks 👍 👍
I personally find it easier to just get entirely new bearings if they are not to expensive, tho in the long run if will be more expensive. But easier. Hope this helps?
Great idea using the needle nose pliers on the stub axle to get off of the metal U-joints (metal ball with spikes) and then get it back on. I could NOT figure out a way to do that. FYI, I have a Rustler and did not need to remove the stub axle carriers at all. Instead I just rotated it down and retracted the axle at the same time and it slid right out. Saved a lot of time.
thanks alot! the left rear stub axle on my stampede broke, lol it sucks with just front wheel drive. ima repair it when the part comes in useing this video. *Thumbed Up*

Would this work for a 1997 Saturn SL1 ?
Thanks man, this video just helped me tons and saved me some frustration.
That pin is frustrating me cause I can’t put it in!
Thanks for the great video. Just one detail you forgot there is washer on both sides of the bearings.
hi i was wondering what shocks and springs do u have on your traxxas?
do you think the rear ones would work on a rustler?
Great video, exactly what i needed to see.

@adanali63 they are the traxxas big bore
Thank you for your help with this video.
one way that wont damage your new stub axle is to actually remove the pin and then slide it back in, like this you avoid stretching your part.
Actually it's not a pin. It is one solid part. Very annoying...
WHAT TIRE R U USING
Great video what tires do u have 😁 I want them lol 😂
thanks man, this confirmed how to do it :)
