Yeah his first game with the cubs he was 4/5 20-9 game with a great start at first base.
@@2nerdsinhell They are good, but there is that other level pitcher...the Cubs need one of those like Arrieta was at his prime. I think this cubs line up is already awesome and getting better all the time, one more elite pitcher would take this team to the next level.

Back to 2020 and 2021, where if I'm correct, cubs had close to 30 runs, and Padres had like 5 or 8 and the game wasn't even passed 6th inning

I hate it whenever the Cubs score so many runs in a game.. This usually means they don't score very many runs the next game.

De La Snooze struckout 3 times against the Cubs last night. Pitcher's are starting to figure him out. He dropped 30 pts on his BA for the month of July. I called it, a flash in the pan. you have a good point. but both teams have used heavy relief pitching, and idk 20 runs feels like a proper statement of the hitting potential for the cubs for not just this game but for the rest of the season. we shall see. go cubs go tho.
