The western hate for Russians and racism towards them runs so deep. Mind you most of the people in the west supported the Nazis because of their "White power" thing and also as a force against communism/USSR in Europe. Only when the Germany starting aggressing towards them were they forced to take the USSR's support. Their hate for russians didn't even wither when they defeated Germany for them. After the fall of Berlin, the Red army indulged in mass r*pe of Berlin which was seen as a big blow in western psyche. Barbarians r*ping civilised European cities. We are seeing the remnants of same racism in the commentary of Russia Ukraine war. Racism never ends. It gets hidden under wraps. Simmering under the surface. Only to come out in uncontrolled and horrible forms.

1:15:38 exactly, recently he wrote another piece where he said that India should invest in humans (pointing out for services) than chip building (industries), while it is true that human investment is what made Japan, Germany and Britan rise up after the devastation of wars, the investment was done through the process of industrialization, not investing in extremely high skilled service sector jobs. If people so well trained have no oppurtunities in India due to the lack of industries why would they even stay here, they would ofcourse leave for USA or West, like Raghuram Rajan for better oppurtunities. The labourer in Bihar bears the educational and training expenses of these people through his taxes, only for these people to leave India and that's the sad part.
I don't blame people who leave India for better oppurtunities, but industrialization and developing skills of Indians in those areas are definitely more important than creating a highly skilled service sector oriented human skill. The latter is extremely costly yet extremely risky due to lack of oppurtunities.

    • @JOJO-of8vl
      @JOJO-of8vl 2 года назад

Yes you need to let it happen naturally, industrialize first, make trinkets, you will eventually evolve into chip making. It's all a pipe dream anyway, I'm anticipating a US China Pak Nexus. Russia will be too weak to help us of course, and we will be too useless for the US/ West to save us. We are truly screwed. I am changing my name to either Sammy or Neil and moving to the west, if you can't beat em join em.

I am always happy to see people who take the time to research matters.
We are were we are today because others in the past brought us here, the now that we are living is the moment that we have the chance at the rudder.
As fellow cybernauts (in reference the the Greek word kybernetikos and those who preform it) may we take that responsibility seriously.
those who live on the land are to be considered to have the greatest rights, no centralised distant leader has the right to force them tom suffer under their yoke, The People of the Donbass have been forgotten by the west in it's desired to continue the Grand chess game, in order for as Brzezinski repeatedly stated "the United States, as the sole and, indeed, the first truly global power" remain at the top of the game pulling all the strings.

Sir, I write to you regarding what has been happening with ‘The Kashmir files’ review on IMDB and google. I have been following the IMDB ratings of this movie right from its release date. The movie has been continuously rated 10 very gradually and with natural progression. Right now is 12 am Monday March 14 IST. Realizing that most people in India have slept by now, the IMDB website has changed the rating system altogether and deviced an alternative system to drastically lower the overall ratings. This is done citing ‘unusual’ rating activity. I highly doubt this is done to reduce the legitimacy of the facts presented in the movie. If this persists by tomorrow, I think we should voice against this.

    • @sca8217

Did the acquisition of Alaska hurt Russia more than the IMF suggestion to become a service based economy and the expansion of both the EU and NATO combined ? I think it did because I think Alaska is our Kashmir and for Russia it became a hybrid of Kosovo & Palestine . But I want AIM’s perspective on this.

A good overall description with charts on the political issues that plagued Ukraine since the independence from USSR, though the coloring in some maps were different for the East and West that could be confusing.
Another change that is significant is that Ukraine esp Kiev is one of the software centers in Europe. A lot of US and EU companies have their IT development and support centers around Kiev. In my current place of work, we had had many owners as we have gone through multiple mergers, acquisitions and divestures (3 over the last 10 years). All the 3 companies had some kind of software centers in Kiev. Think like Bengaluru. Similarly due to cheap labor and relatively skilled people, a lot of BPOs also in European region are located in UKR around Kiev.
Why is the above important? These IT and tech savvy crowd definitely identify themselves as European as that is where their future lies. Not towards Russia.
An IT person is more susceptible to wokeism and continue to consider the industrial supporting region as relatively backward and more extractive and polluting and have an affinity towards "farming" people as in "environment and organic".
While the mid west states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Western PA were heavily industrialized, with NAFTA and later China they became less important and went down and down to be noted as the "Rust Belt". A New Yorker, Silicon Valley-ite will refer to the Rust Belt with equal scorn as a hilly-billy farmer.
    Agriculture is pre 17th century
    Industry is 17th-20th century
IT and Knowledge economy is 21st century
Also keep in mind that Victor Yanukovych, though deriving his strength from the Russian predominant east, actually skillfully played EU and Russia to get the "best deal" for Ukraine. Infact one of the persons advising VY to move closer to EU was the now infamous Paul Manafort who was also advising Trump. But somehow PM was a Russian spy implanted by Russian intelligence to co-opt Trump while he was actually guiding VK to move away from Russia ;-)
At that time EURO was in a huge crisis with PIIGS (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, Spain) issue and lot of rumblings in the EU on the fourth Reich of Germany being so powerful and economically dictating terms to other countries and forcing PIIGS to fall into the banker's suggestions. Now while the Eastern UKR is industrialized, the standards obviously would not be to the level of Europe, which means EU can easily for example brandish an environment clause and declare that not a single product from Eastern UKR can be sold in the greater EU due to not meeting EU standard and compliance and economically bankrupt the east and will be folded into Europe. Further EU will decide who they can trade with and what tariffs to impose and hence they can even block the trade with Russia.
So VK actually played Putin skillfully as well as EU like to quote AIM how Myanmar plays China, but when push came to shove, Putin was able to guarantee 15B EUR to UKR while EU could not (as it will cause internal fissures as to how the PIIGS was handled) and won him over. So he chose RUS over EU leading to the Maidan protests following which despite the agreements signed by France, Germany Russia and UKR in Minsk(1), a coup was done against VK who was overthrown and US appointed Yatsenyuk to the Presidency.

Sino Soviet split ended up strengthening China because the US embraced them in 1972. That is the main reason behind the rise of China. So how is that great for India? India shares borders with China, not Russia. Before you give a standing ovation to Nehru, answer this. And how do you know what played on Mao's mind and credit Nehru for it? Mao was sliding away from Stalin's influence already, as mentioned in several biographies, including Jason Chung's.
