The fact that they announced it was canceled after almost a year of silence and wondering if it was gonna get renewed too. They were so wrong for this. I swear I don't even start netflix shows that I think look good anymore until they get at least a second season.
I already had this policy, and I broke it to watch this show, only to be disappointed. I'm still furious about it.
Also the renew dumb shows for a zillion seasons like Riverdale and Emily In Paris 😒🙄

ohh audrey we all ask ourselves why JATP didn‘t get a second season!! it was literally trending nr 1 in all the countries on Netflix! won a lot of awards, but somehow it got cancelled and we all don‘t know why🙄🥺

It was originally cancelled because of covid. They required a lot of people on set for concerts and they didn't want to . I don't why they didn't bring it back in the aftermath 😢

I heard that Ortega wanted to buy the rights to the show but Netflix refuses to sell it. He was planning on having 5 seasons for this show.

they can't Netflix owns the contracts and won't let them go. basically they don't want to run it ,but don't want anyone else to either. Netflix is stupid
nah because I hate Netflix for canceling JATP. during covid I binge watched it like 20 times every other month, and when I found out it was being removed I wanted to start a whole protest
I wish we had a second season sooooo bad, but also remember they filmed all this pre-pandemic and the show aired 6 months into the shut down and a lot of filming project were still on hold until they could get the protocols all worked out before resuming filming. Not sure if that is the reason but that’s just part of my opinion
He wanted to have them tour and everything and take them being a band seriously. It was really cute i enjoyed watching it with my daughter.

It's not fair that they left us with that cliffhanger!!! With all the fans they have even now that it's been like more than 2 and 1/2 years. The cast went to Brazil some time ago and people love them.
I guess it was because of the show it's based on "Julie e os fantasmas" which is from nickelodeon and has more than 20 episodes, saw it & it's good
the problem was that netflix just saw the numbers at the beginning and just a few people saw it but that changes and after a year there was a big enough fanbase but netflix already had cancelled the show... that's why many shows got cancelled because they see the numbers of a month and then they choose okay season 2 //:
