Please note, firework noises aren't in the video as drones do not record audio due to the propeller noise. If drones could record audio, I would totally use the firework noise over ambient background music 😊 Happy New Years everyone!
I've run into this problem as well. You can record with your phone and drop the audio in later -- works well enough when using drones to film surf 🤙mahalo!

I use a Mavic 3 Cine which is like the Mavic 3 Pro. I basically just shoot in your typical 4K video settings but use a ND4 filter and set it to night mode 😊
Thanks for the upload! it looks like you're using a nice drone that likely records a 10bit HDR compatible video -- you could try exporting+uploading HDR for even more vivid colors! i believe even iMovie supports this option when exporting. Mahalo!

Nice video. People complain about high housing and other living expenses in the islands, but blow (quite literally) all kinds of cash on fireworks. Shows just another aspect of how nuts things have gotten after I left. The exodus to the Ninth Island and other mainland destinations will just continue, unfortunately.
I couldn't agree more! It's mind blowing to think how much money people spent on fireworks. I heard that some entry-level aerials start at $100 a pop and just climb in price as the fireworks get bigger and more fancy. Someone sent me a video of the 9th island and it looked like they sure enjoyed the fireworks as well! Hope you have a great New Year!

Haha yes, unfortunately drones don't record audio as the propellers make too much bee noise. I tried adding a mic to it but it still caught the noise. I also tried to record from the ground but there were a lot of people yelling and having fun 😂 one day I'll get it~!
haha you and me both! I'm hoping one day drones can record audio without hearing the propeller noises. I tried to attach a wireless mic to the drone, but unfortunately that doesn't work with the noise from the drone. Hopefully one day they can either make the drone silent or have a boom mic built into it to record below

Most of them are Filipinos tgey bring the NYE tradition from the Phils
They sure do like fireworks, but there are a lot of other pyros on the island
