  • Greetings! This is a trip report of Turkish Airlines business class flight from Istanbul to Hong Kong. My flight started with a visit of the airline's well-known lounge at its hub. The Boeing 777 aircraft is equipped with flat bed seats in business class that offer great comfort - considering that the cabin is not fully occupied on this flight. What's most impressive about this flight is the availability of free high-speed WiFi and high quality dining. Please join me in experiencing my flight experience.

I have flown Turkish Airlines to Phuket, Maldives, Seoul, Jakarta, Colombo, Boston, and San Francisco in both Business and Economy. I have never had a bad flight with them. And yes, they are famous for their food. I like Turkish Cusine, so I always choose the Turkish dishes. Of course, I have had delayed flights and sometimes noisy and ill mannered pasengers, but that is the normal these days. But overall, Turkish Airlines is a good product, and I agree with you that the privacy is not so good on their 777s and A330s. But their 787s and A350s have much better seats. Thanks for your review.

A great experience, but one point is not good for me: 2-3-2 configuration. When business is good or fully booked, this could be a problem:
no direct isle access fro every seat and no privacy.

I went last year from Zanzibar to IST with Turkish Airlines in Business and it was the worst flight ever in my life. The plane was a A330 wide body - but I think 25 years old. Seats would not deline at all. Not sure why I had paid business for that flight - food and service are OK but it did not justify an increase by that much. I was not happy at all with TK on that flight. not a 5 star experiance. so be careful what you book.

That is unfortunate. But Turkish's service sort made up for the seats' lack of privacy
