Turkish Airlines B777 Business class, Hong Kong to Istanbul

This is the return flight (on our trip to Hong Kong) and overall, we had a nice flight. We were lucky to avoid the dreaded 2-3-2 configuration on their B777 and book seats 6A and 6B for us. The Ferragamo amenity kit was lovely and the inclusion of a local option both for dinner and breakfast was a plus. Sadly, there was a paper on the plate when they served my main course and Mike´s IFE remote did not work the whole flight despite several attempts to fix it.

Actually, meron silang new business seats sa A350 nila. Yes, sa catering sila nag e excell kasi ang DO&CO ang one of the best airline catering companies :)

By the way, are you aware that you could also have used the Singapore Airlines lounge based on your ticket? That‘s where I usually go, probably better than one of the Plaza Premium lounges (although I‘ve never been to the latter, only to the PP First which is quite expensive)

Hi. Thanks for the comment. Yes, I have visited the SQ Lounge pre-pandemic and really liked it. Sadly, it was closed before our TK flight as they only open for their own SQ flights.

@@TheFilipinoTraveler Well, that‘s a pity.. last time I visited it was still completely closed (Aug 2023), now at least the SQ website says it should be open until 2400h - always liked them for the efficient shower process, but then, next time it might be first time with Plaza Premium for me then..

2-3-2 configuration for a business class is tight and lacks privacy.

Very true. If it was not for the price of the ticket and for Star Alliance gold status that I was aiming for, I would have chosen another airline to fly from Europe to Asia.
