That‘s possible and you get to these numbers pretty quickly without noticing. A typical NY-LHR flight is already 5500km one-way, if you do this every month, you will already have 130000km in a year. And there are other common routes which are much longer.
It's not that difficult and you will be suprised how many people flew more than that. With my first company i flew half way around the world every week (we luckily only flew first class) but never ever choose American or European airlines to fly with as there service sucks big time

It‘s pretty typical. Condor has a similar configuration, although they have some better front seats in their new 339 from what I‘ve heard (their business is on the level of any good flag carrier business).
So translated into normal people. First class: overpriced as shit, the champagne , three course meal and shower don’t make your flight go any faster. Business is great, gets you lounge access, priority security and better seats, also often forgotten: enough place to store overhead luggage. Economy is perfectly fine aswell, however I recommend booking the seats next to the emergency exit. At most airlines this will cost between 30/80€ and will double leg room.
Honestly, I don’t even need all that fancy crap on my 9-10 hour flight. I will 100% bring my own food (couple scones from the local bakery or a couple grilled cheeses) since I hate airplane food. And then, I just need to not feel trapped in my seat or like I’m not able to move on my flight (which, we all know, is not possible in economy so I just distract myself to keep the edge off). I also don’t lean my seat back since I’m already pretty short and I want give the person behind me a good experience on a flight at least once, (plus, after years of flying I can’t physically do it, no matter how hard I try). And I also try to stay awake on flights because sleeping becomes complicated, but sleep does get me sometimes whether I like it or not.
I've flown first class a few times. It's just not worth it to me. Especially for domestic flights I'll never do that again. My last first class ticket was free and I felt scammed especially when I had to sit in that first row behind the bulkhead
I remember when there were just two classes, first class and coach. Coach was nice-the seats were wide, but not 'Murican wide, and they fed you semi-gourmet food like lobster thermidor. It was a low tech time, but they did show a movie that you could rent headphones for. First class had better seats, more food, and almost no children, though my mom and I did get bumped up one time when I was still a pre-teen. Oh, and both classes had free check-ins for your luggage. Deregulation has a lot to answer for.
It still grinds my gears that US business doesn't give you lounge access. Although European business with economy seats seems even worse lol

It is worse. I was on Eurowings Business once and you literally got a cheap sandwich, coke and the middle seats were not even blocked. The legroom and seats themselves were better however.
My definition is on first you are a guest. In business you are passengers. In economy they treat you like herd of cattle and in budget airlines like bulk items. Or from the traveller perspective, on 12 hour flight. In first "Why is the pilot in such a hurry i can easily sleep a ohter 2...3h" In business:"It was nice but I is OK we are there now" In economy after 6h:" We it takes so long LET ME OUT OFF HERE!!"
I know the differences. My wife and I go on tour when The Rolling Stones go on tour. We are very hard core fans, and so we usually go economy plus if we fly to Europe because I have to have leg room. If we follow the tour in the US we usually book all our flights with Southwest. We have discovered a way for my wife and I to get the middle seat of 3 seats for free. That’s right; for FREE. Thus we can put all our junk and food in the empty seat and I can turn slightly and stretch out my legs. Most of the flights are full and as passengers board they see our empty middle seat and want to sit there. But we have posted the boarding pass for that seat on the chair back and tell them it’s taken. The flight attendants will sometimes come over and confirm it to the enquiring passenger, and so it’s easily taken care of. After the flight we get our money (or miles) back immediately. Over 24 flights we save a ton of money and have good comfort at a lot less than first class on another airline. That saved money helps us with our hotel and ticket costs for the Stones tour. We usually stay at the same hotel as the band and we often bump into members of the band and their support staff. And kids of the band as well, who we have watched grow up. These kids know us now and I often get photos with them and a good visit. So traveling by air cheaper really pays off. Southwest wins because we will travel with them exclusively in the US. We win because we save so much money on the free middle seat. When flying you really have to watch the details. My wife keeps logging in and reviewing our flight tickets because she often sees the cost of our tickets has gone down. She immediately rebooks the same flight with the new lower cost. The airline deals with that all the time and are easily cooperative. Of course I would love to fly 1st class everywhere, but we literally save thousands the way we book. It is so valuable to us when we bump into Mick Jagger or Keith Richards and they have their families with them. We are tight with their security guys because we have known them a long time. So you can pick the best deal possible when flying, you just need to know all the best strategies.

As someone else with a lot of flight experience, I can guarantee you that even on the longest flights possible, the only things that actually matter are how close you are to a bathroom and leg-room, with the latter being the only thing I'd tell anyone to seriously consider when buying a ticket. My favourite first class is the emirates game changer , or their normal first class because that’s all I know 😭😭 and I haven’t been in Buissness or economy
I've only experienced the middle seat block in short domestic flights, long haul have always been individual booths with lay flat seats on airlines I've flown...
I’ve flown all of those as my mum works for an airline and I travel fairly regularly economy is well general snack, drink and on my mums airline free alcohol, if you flying at 7,12 or 6 they will provide a prepackaged okay meal. Business class is a bigger seat, has a footrest, seat is more comfortable, give a proper meal and as many drinks alcohol free and alcoholic. They generally include treats as well. First class includes a fully reclining chair with sheets, pillows and blankets to make it like a double bed, if flying internationally their will be a tv, but on my mums airline certain economy seats have tvs to so that depends on which plane your on, you get alcohol just as any other seat, and it also includes generally complimentary products. To be completely honest I only pay $45 for any of these seats seeing I get free upgrades with being on my mothers staff travel but I would say on this airline business and first class are almost the same I know some Japanese airlines have full on rooms but not my mums airline but all seats you can get alcohol also all snacks and meals are free in every class it comes with your tickets and on staff travel if seats are available you get a free upgrade but also if it’s a full flight you GTE bumped onto the next flight because you aren’t paying as much generally they can fit you on and I’ve only been bumped off once in a few years.

Basically classic Titanic ship 🛳️ injustice of the Rich 🤑 and the Poor
Here in New Zealand we also have cocoon class
It’s where you literally get put inside a luxury cocoon
Me: They upgraded my seats to first class!
Them: Woah! Really?
Me: Yeah, *On Sun Country Airlines*
I'm so poor, the video decided to end before she could even get to the 5 star stuff.
I fly business and first class in air India and vistara! You have to see it! It’s really nice!
You should fly from LAX to SJU sometime
This first class reminds me of van life optics - some people life in this much space...
What about premium economy
