Pretty close. I would say Santana at Woodstock playing "Soul Sacrifice" is #1, and this performance is #2 and #3 is Vanilla Fudge on Ed Sullivan playing "Keep Me Hangin' On". #4 is The Sensational Alex Harvey Band play Give My Compliments To The Chef on the Old Grey Whistle Test. Just my opinion.

Mark lives just down the road from me. He is just a genuinely kind down to earth family man. As awsome a man as he is talented. He just booked a show at our local casino, it sold out in under thirty minutes! I came in from working in the garage and the wife said Mark's doing a show at the casino. Made a beeline for my phone to call for tickets. She says I heard the ad before she could come and tell me it was sold out. Thought about stopping in to see him and schmoozing some tickets. Hope he might book a second show.
He has ten yrs on me but he still jams it like he did in this video. Just fricking awsome.

They are arguably the best R&R trio in history for a few reasons .
    1) They are all great rock musicians.
    2)They are all great singers.
    3) they are all on the same page musically
    4) Their sound is incredibly dynamic and full for just a trio which in no easy feat .
Unfortunately, in spite of all that they only had one style of music. If you only heard a couple of their songs, you basically heard them all and they gradually lost favor with the pubic .

And that was just a small taste of a Grand Funk performance in front of a small studio audience at a Pennsylvania TV station. Imagine seeing them on a full side stage. The sold out Shea stadium in 72 hours after it had taken the Beatles the only previous band to play there took seven weeks to sell out. They were kicked off Led Zeppelin's 1970 concert tour after two shows when the Zepps manager realized which band the audiences preferred.

These are my homeboys from Flint Michigan. I was born and raised in Michigan. I still live here. This is my favorite tune by them. You want more Grand Funk Railroad? Do "Black Licorice". That tune is badass too!

Reaction videos like this are bitter sweet for me. I'm happy to see a younger generation enjoying older music as much as we did, but I'm sad that classic bands have become obscure for many.

My favorite GFR song. Listened to them in Jr. and Sr. high school. Still listen to this song as an old guy when I work out or jog to give me some energy.

Now imagine you're 11 years old and this is the first indoor concert ever, that's my personal experience. Introduction to music that reaches greatness started here and keeps me searching until the day I die.

Cinnamon 1970 in Atlanta Georgia as a teenager best live band I've ever seen they kill it on stage. Now ask yourself why are they not in the Rock and roll Hall of Fame they should be.
