Can’t go wrong with Zeppelin. All four members were aficionado’s on their respective instruments. What I love most about them is that you can tune in to just the guitar, just the drums, just the bass line, or the vocals and each part is so duly conceptualized and fleshed out. Best rock band of all time.
I dunno about that! Sure, my generation loved them, but my parents generation wasn't real pleased with it. LOL They thought it was devil music. Of course that was 50 years ago. Don't you remember all that stuff about satanic messages in stairway and all that?
Haters are gonna hate, lovers are going to love, Led Zeppelin is gonna forever ROCK!, New and Old fans alike will continue weeping from there soul.☺️✌️
HazeBruv Great Reaction. I don’t know how people felt about this song when it was released .It was released in 1971 I was born in 1970 so it came out when I was a baby. This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song. It may not be The best Led Zeppelin song but it definitely speaks to me. I’ve only been listening to it since 1983. Thanks for sharing with us.😀👍❤️✌️🌼
I can't listen to this without it flowing seamlessly into the next cut on the album, "Rock and Roll". Next time you listen to this, listen to both together.
Does my soul good ! I’m a guitarist I had a friend from Dtown he had heard I played I picked up a guitar in a music store and played this song my brother man went nuts ! I was a boy when this came out ! I loved it ! This was released in 1971 Zeppelin didn’t tealease 45 singles !
When this album came out I was 17 years old and we listened to this day and night. but the top was going to see them live in 68, opening for the Who! Check out the live video of Zep playing "the Ocean".
Man I can remember like it was yesterday half my friends love disco half my friends love rock and roll but we all love Led Zeppelin. And more importantly, the ladies loved Led Zeppelin, you know what I'm saying
This is the first Led Zeppelin song I ever heard, and it's my favorite. They named the song "Black Dog" because there was a stray black dog that kept wandering in and out of the studio while they were recording the song.
Led Zeppelin never made a bad song. This is my teen to early twenties time. In concert they were even better cos you could see them. I personally liked their entire catalog and still do in my late 60's.
3 suggestions from me are when the levee breaks, in my time of dying and achilles last stand. The drums alone on all of those are simply unmatched by anybody else ever
Rollingstone Magazine's music critics at the time didn't like Led Zeppelin at first. I think it took the critics a minute to figure out how great they truly were. The public caught on really quick though.
Haze, I used to think that Zeppelin was the best band ever but now I realize that there are many best bands ever. Music is like an ice cream shop. You go inside and get what it is that you feel like having that day! 😃 Many different flavors and all of them are the best for what one needs or wants at the moment!
Hard to believe this is such an old song Really?! Zepplin’s songs are all like gold. Robert, Jimmy, Bonzo, and let us not forget the brilliant John Paul Jones on bass.
“Your opinion is invalid and you are lacking is so many areas…” what a great way to covey your intolerance of closed minds. Well said! Thank you and keep up the good work, Mr. Bruv.
This song is a classic. When I was in college I was in the marching band and we did this one and we for a short time became dancers. It gives you stankface
Character growth is important! Nowhere is this more evident than one of the live versions of this, where Plant changes one of the lines. "I don't know, but I've been told / Big-legged woman ain't got no soul... but I could be wrong!" Someone must have changed his mind somehow...
Led Zeppelin has stood the test of time. They are BRILLIANT. Can you imagine the old folks at the time (like people born in the waaay early 1900’s) having their children and grandchildren listening to this? Ah, no they wouldn’t have any of it. This came out in 1969.
I have to add,I first heard this a long long time ago...my youth,a less complicated time,to which I would go back in a second, the superb music, friend's and experience's...
Heh, "Black Dog" rocks! I was still in pre-school when this dropped, so I can't speak to the reaction then, but by the time I got to sixth grade it was one of those cuts you wanted to play super loud but held back a bit out of worry that your parents might overreact to the lasciviousness of the lyrics and confiscate the entire album as punishment. "Hey, hey, baby, when you walk that way \ Watch your honey drip, I can't keep away..."
Dude it is so freaking cool seeing you react to a great song like this it just brings such happiness to a multitude of people I know we're just digging on it watching you here's your stuff for the first time cuz we can kind of remember when we first heard it and how it blew us away man you know there's music like this. Just I don't know sometimes it was so good that it would make your hair stand up on the back of your neck that's the kind of thing that would happen dude it's so rather so much energy from something so original and something you just haven't heard ever before anything like that you know? I remember hearing this song on the day that I got my temporary driver's license when I was 16 years old. A friend of mine came over in his Dodge charger with massive speaker system in it and he blasted this song over and over! It was also the first time I ever smoked weed. He got me stoned and I came home. I remember laying in my bed thinking I could smell the lady next door making strawberry jello. I had to go mow my neighbor's grass and I mowed over the same place over and over until the old lady came out of the house and said aren't you going to cut the rest of the grass? Needless to say I was stoned off my rocker! This song holds good memories for me. Love your reaction Haze! Thanks so much for doing this. Peace and love to you and your family! ☮️😘💞 P.S. If you're not subscribed to Haze, you don't know what you're missing!!! Subscribe.... You won't be sorry. Haze has fabulous reaction videos! He's in my top 2 list. Always got to check out what Haze is up to!! He's the best! 👍👍🤘👨🎤
Keep going with Zep! If you love them after a handful of songs, you'll go nuts for them after you hear the rest of their catalog. In my book, The Beatles & Zeppelin are the two greatest bands of all time (though they're many close contenders.) You could hardly assemble a better group of four musicians than Page, Plant, Bonham, and Jones.
dude your reactions are epic and fresh and real ,your my faverite so far thanks for keeping it real rock on oh and when this came out in 73 ,there sound was unheard of up till that point.kinda like when van halens fist hit the airwaves, ahead of its time
If you're truly starting to dig them, become familiar with band members. It'll amaze you how talented they each are, and how each brings magic to the awesomeness that is Zeppelin. And then get into their live stuff.
When you were asking how people felt when this first came out, man I was thinking we were just like 'watchin fireworks'! That's all I got to say about that!
One of my favorite all time songs is, Hey Hey What Can I Do. You won't find it on any album from back then. I had to call a radio station to request it and wait by my stereo to get a really lame recording of it. Anyway it's a little different, but I play it whenever I'm getting ready to go out. 😆 btw it's an original Led Zeppelin song. ❤✌ Check it out. Even if on your own time.
I'm a old hippie this is our STONERS music and I really enjoy watching how much you enjoy the music
TAKE CARE MY FRIEND
We were all blown away the first time we heard Zeppelin.
For sure.
0:45 stank face arrives! "Hold up!", he says! Love your reactions! ❤️
Never trust anyone who doesn't like Led Zeppelin just saying
Truth!! lololol
And the office 🕺🏻
I don't 😁
I was into Zeppelin and my boyfriend was into Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. We were doomed…
yea jack would agree
After 52 years How many more times is still my favorite Zeppelin
Zepplin can rock the blues. Robert's vocals are always 🔥

Best rock band of all time.
Well said! It's difficult to assemble four better musicians for a rock band. They're each legends of their instruments.
Bonham tears that drum kit UP on this one!
How they stay on tempo with all that syncopation always amazes me. Such a great tight band.
This song sprung me into puberty back in the 70s. First song on their 4th LP. I still remember the first needle drop.
Same. Nothing but hits on that record.
Honey, I'm 16 all over again, hangin with my friends, listening to the best rock band ever while smokin a bong!
I 'm 66, yay Boomers. 🤙
People reacted to it then the way you just reacted to it. Real music like theirs is immune to time.

There's Led Zeppelin - and then there's everyone else. Add "Nobody's Fault" to your Zeppelin que! Ultimate Zeppelin jam. Pure FIRE!
This is one of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs! 💚
Put me in that camp. Zeppelin, best band ever!
Led Zepplin is the Gateway
The Immigrant song by led Zeppelin is my favorite. Great reaction Bruv as always.❤️

Led Zep: Greatest of all time.
Just another one of their bangers. They could do it all.
In the Light by Led Zeppelin, please. My favourite song by them!
Great song!
Epic!
Mine too, and the Immigrant Song

LED ZEPP. Achiles last Stand !!!!!
This song is straight fire
When the albums came out, one by one, we LOVED them! Now, from Physical Graffiti album, please do "In My Time of Dying" live at Earls Court, 1975.
I loved all the new songs from all the great bands when they first came out. It was exciting hearing them and then seeing them live in concert.
When this album came out I was 17 years old and we listened to this day and night. but the top was going to see them live in 68, opening for the Who! Check out the live video of Zep playing "the Ocean".

back then i was amazed at the drummers interpretation of the song. genius.
Always been my favorite zeppelin song. Close 2nd is dazed and confused cause that song represents me 100%

Its all good, brother....great music in many genres, and Led Zep are the GOATs of rock.
Your reactions always make me happy! Especially when you do Led Zeppelin! 🥰
They blew my mind in 1969 and now they just crack it open once in a while. Course I'm much much more cognizant today.

and I'm Gonna Crawl.
Yes!
That song doesn't get near the attention it deserves. One of my very favorites! ❤
🤟🏻😎👍🏻
The solo is out of this world. So gritty.
Zeppelin mastered more different genres than any other band. Ever.

Led Zepplin is low down dirty and ohhhhh so good❣️
Saw them when they first came out at the Fillmore East, 8th row. Complete and utter astonishment.
