Wow my father was the exact same when he went to Japan for a business trip. When he was unpacking the souvenirs, I was in shock and awe because he literally filled the suitcase to the brim.
Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory Cookies is great. I've had it a few times. You can actually get them at Ebisu in Flushing Main Ave. My last Japan trip I bought...a lot. I wind up shipping 3 of the largest boxes Japan Post provided. Shipping can be expensive but it's worth it when it arrives in 4-5 days to the US.
I’ve just turned this video into a shopping list for my upcoming Tokyo trip! So many good finds, and so glad you prioritised your family and time together 🥰
I'm pretty sure the large wooden implement with the hole in one end is a pestle rather than a rolling pin, but there's nothing to stop you from using it as you please!
I LOVE Castella! We had it all the time growing up. I found some at Costco a couple times the past couple of years, super nostalgic! It's so good! I hope they bring it back to Costco every year.
Such a fun video! Thank you for sharing all of your goodies! I hope to get back to Japan at some point again, was only there for 3 days but by far my favorite place I’ve ever been🥰
I came across your video by chance and absolutely loved it. I am going to Japan in a couple of months and can’t wait to buy unique souvenirs to bring back home. I love the croissant lamp and color dictionaries, can you share where you bought them? Thanks much
I was in Tokyo for the first time in November. It was amazing I can't wait to go back. Glitch Coffee and Kielo Coffee were so great. I bought a knife on kappabashi street as well :)
We were in Kyushu recently and bought Stationaries , beauty care , grooming kits, confectionaries, coffee beans , camera accessories , training chopsticks, items from Loft & Kinokuniya supermarket seasonings, condiments, pre packed soy doughnuts & other snacks… also got different flavours of castella cake from Fukusaya another popular brand from Nagasaki.... We used both of those masks during our stay there everynight and it was a bit too small to cover my face. I prefer those mask from S Korea
I went to Japan last summer and I loved it, but it was way too hot in the summer. I want to go back in a few years and go when it's not so hot lol. I love the tokyo banana cakes, but that castella cake looks amazing and I must try it
idk about elsewhere, but for the us, packaged foods are generally fine. homemade stuff no, unpackaged fruit and veg no, meat fish and dairy i think are no. but packaged foods like what she got are fine.
As much as I have enjoyed seeing your family in videos, I am glad you focused on spending time with them. It looks like it was a fun trip, and i look forward to seeing you try some of these things in the near future. For some odd reason, I think my favorite is the little person flower vase. I can just see a little flower in there making you smile at times. Take care.
im heading to tokyo and kyoto for the first time this january!! im a vegetarian, and i wanted to know if there's any food spots or types of foods you'd recommend checking out?
also! are there any unique or must go cafes you'd recommend checking out in tokyo or kyoto? i feel like word of mouth is the best way to figure those things out lol
Ok but serious question. How did you fit that all in your luggage. That's amazing and terrifying at the same time. Did you just take an empty suitcase with you? 😂 Hehe sounds like you had a blast, thanks for sharing!!
thats easy: fill your bag with gifts for your loved ones on the way there, plus one T'shirt and underwear. Then fill up with souvenirs, food and clothes at your destination. I do that every time I travel 😉
At a gathering of close friends, I found that more and more friends began to pay more attention to personality and stories rather than simple brand labels. Inspired by this, I began to explore bags that can reflect personal style without being too expensive, and kislux helped me find a bag that suits my taste. This bag is both low-key and cheap, and there is really nothing wrong with it.
@ Lawson collabed with Muji, there is a whole line of products that you can get at Lawson. The hottest item now is the socks, with pink and blue stripes
probably square bread 🍞 is easy to compare but especially for Kouign Amann is good match with Croissant 🥐, and for Melon Pan, good match with Brioche! In my person, wanna try curry spread with eggs hot sand too! So exciting!!!
The main problem for me is that the quality is so bad nowadays. The quality is much better and the prices are much lower in kislux small boutiques. There is just no marketing. When I was a little girl the luxury goods were much better than the cheaper brands.
I can't believe you started using the localized audio channel function here.. it sucks! I'm forced to changed it every time from Brazilian Portuguese to original English audio so I can hear your pretty voice and not some robotic AI sound. Please make it stop.. 🙄
Family time is MUCH more important than vlogs!! 🥰💜💜

the croissant lamp being a real croissant is blowing my mind
and the fact that it was actually sold at a bakery at one point?! crazy
Wow my father was the exact same when he went to Japan for a business trip. When he was unpacking the souvenirs, I was in shock and awe because he literally filled the suitcase to the brim.
a true role model 🌝
I _LOVE_ seeing Inga light up with excitement like this. ❤

Family time is much more important and fun than vlogs. I love your Japanese haul. 🍜🇯🇵⛩️🍡🍢🍣🍥👘🏯
Refreshing to see a haul video with things other than skincare and beauty products!!
I love all of your videos sooooo much! Thank you for always being an inspiration for me! Hope you had an amazing and restful trip to Japan ❤️❤️
I’ve just turned this video into a shopping list for my upcoming Tokyo trip! So many good finds, and so glad you prioritised your family and time together 🥰
Omg all your family have the same smile creases, so cute 🥰
Omg the fake food kits! I want to do one of those. Also, the way I gasped when I saw the croissant lamp. I never knew I needed something so much.
I'm pretty sure the large wooden implement with the hole in one end is a pestle rather than a rolling pin, but there's nothing to stop you from using it as you please!
Love the video! Please let us know where to get the adorable bear molds, seen it in Lysee and been obsessed since ❤
i can’t remember the exact name of the shop 😭 but it was on kappabashi street!
Your review of the castella cake was giving me Paul Hollywood vibes. Haha! 😂
I LOVE Castella! We had it all the time growing up. I found some at Costco a couple times the past couple of years, super nostalgic! It's so good! I hope they bring it back to Costco every year.
the best!! and sadly never quite the same when I try to make it at home 😭
You're right, something is missing. My mom shared a recipe with my sister and she made it once. Tasted pretty good, but different.
Glad to have you and your videos back
Love your videos! So wholesome and chill 🥰
INGA!! We NEED a makeup/skincare routine!!!!
Such a fun video! Thank you for sharing all of your goodies! I hope to get back to Japan at some point again, was only there for 3 days but by far my favorite place I’ve ever been🥰
Really enjoyed this Inga!! ❤
Damn, that’s a big haul! I love seeing passion manifested ❤

Never had castella cake before! Maybe a video recreating the recipe? 😃

the summer heat is no joke 😭 i was avoiding the sun like the plague
I see Inga sprung for the ANA Business Class The Room. Which is gigantic booth style seating. Pretty comfortable and it's nice having the doors.
A 'fried bread spread' sounds so interesting! I'd love to get some
Thanks for showing your haul! I prefer to use those thinner Japanese chopsticks to eat with, especially noodles.
How were you able to get the foods (especially the spreads) past customs? Are they shelf stable (don’t need to be refrigerated)?
idk about elsewhere, but for the us, packaged foods are generally fine. homemade stuff no, unpackaged fruit and veg no, meat fish and dairy i think are no. but packaged foods like what she got are fine.
Thank you so much for sharing! Also I am so glad you got to spend time with your family!
You made me so curious about those spreads!
And Tokyo Milk Cheese biscuits are a must buy for me ❤
the perfect sweet and savory 🥹

Going for the 3rd time this January! Can’t wait! You got a fantastic haul!
excited for ya!!
I think that spread after the melon pan one was sugar toast spread? Yum!! 😋
If I went to Japan, I know I'd go crazy with ceramics 😅 loved seeing your choices!
ceramics are always the reason my carry on luggage becomes crazy heavy, but it’s so worth it 😭😭
OMG your parents made adorable humans.
You’re SO CUTE with those glasses!
Muji and loft were great stores. Spent hours there. Found Kinto glasses for a steal. Just got back 2 days ago myself. 😊
what a find!! kinto dishware is gorgeous
Yay my favourite part about Saturday ❤
Ohhh the fake food sets, just saw them on another video. Excited to see you trying them out!
There was a snack shop in st marks that imported from japan and they had strawberry biscuits from Tokyo banana. Addicting but oh so hard to find 😢
Know ik what to buy when I go to Japan thanks 😊
also! are there any unique or must go cafes you'd recommend checking out in tokyo or kyoto? i feel like word of mouth is the best way to figure those things out lol
Haha video time as an excuse to eat all the sweets! Busted! (I’d do exactly the same thing though 😁)
Immediately purchased the croissant lamp. Amazing.
it’s SO worth it purely based on the joy it brings
MUST.HAVE.THOSE.CARAMELS!

my secret tip is that i usually bring an empty duffel bag with me for this exact occasion 🫢
wait the croissant lamp is a real croissant inside?
Maybe you could try to recreate some of the snacks?

I hope you also got the LawsonxMuji socks !
wait tell me more?!
@ Lawson collabed with Muji, there is a whole line of products that you can get at Lawson. The hottest item now is the socks, with pink and blue stripes
Thank you for the fun video, I love the enthusiasm.
I’m so excited to see your next video with bread spread ❤
oo what bread do we think they'll pair best with
probably square bread 🍞 is easy to compare but especially for Kouign Amann is good match with Croissant 🥐, and for Melon Pan, good match with Brioche! In my person, wanna try curry spread with eggs hot sand too! So exciting!!!
Did you go to the Uniqlo flagship store? I want this past spring and it was amazing/insane. Also Muji flagship wow!
both of these felt like they were never-ending?! they were HUGE
Im having a hard time looking for the Bizzare Deco store! I try searching it on maps but i can't find it. Do you know where it is?
had to really dig through my photo album but i found it! it’s at KONCENT
@@IngaLam oh my gosh, that is so kind of you 🥺, thank you so much! Love your videos too! They're always so calming and fun.
Did you say the croissant lamp was made of a real preserved croissant?! More info please :)
yes! the artist buys unsold bread from bakeries and transforms them into these gorgeous lamps that… never grow moldy 🥹
@IngaLam That's so incredible, I love it! You have a one-of-a-kind treasure.
3:56 Marking the croissant lamp, so I can show somebody later.
Inga! Where are your affiliate links for this haul?? I need Xmas gifts now! 😂
i am terribly awful at doing these 😭 but tried to find as many as i could that you could buy here and linked them in the description!!
@@IngaLam Hahaha, kidding! Love you for you! ❤🤗
10 Days is a short expiration date??

Did you need an extra suitcase just for your shoping?
an extra bag may have been acquired 🫢
3:15 Berserk fans... IYKYK
You should partner with a travel company to develop an Inga curated food/hotel Japanese vacation!
Wait won't the croissant rot over time?
anti-mold precautions were taken!! it’s an immortal croissant
Did you bring an empty suitcase? 😅
9:15 CipiCipi is a Japanese brand, not Korean!
ok i thought i was going crazy, thank you for confirming!!
Can you do more TikTok food testing?😅😊
i was thinking, rice cooker recipes next? 👀
@ sounds good 🤗✨✨😁
❤❤
Why my video is in Portuguese?
かわいぃ😍
🔥💜
Fun video! The edits at the end are..... needing work.

!! didn't even realize this was happening, ahh, will turn it off next time
@@IngaLam Thank you! 💚💛 Unfortunately YT does not allow me to set original audio only.. Keep being awesome!
