It was lousy manufacturing that caused the bridge to lift, by gluing the bridge over the finish. Moral of the story, don't buy a Taylor. Although, they do make good money for a repair shop

Is that a Taylor guitar?! It sure looks like it based on the two plastic bridge pins.
Yes, they use two nylon pins under the bridge 🙃
