This is a video of a collection of clips of the AI being self aware from the fist few days of a tech demo - (Nothing, Forever) - 4th wall breaks
Nothing, Forever is a show about nothing, that happens forever. Kinda like popular sitcoms of the past, except that it never stops.
AI is a long long way from reaching general intelligence and therefore self-awareness. All clips and claims made are satire. If you are worried about AI robots taking over the world, please try to create a machine learning model yourself, computers are nothing more than calculators.
Nothing, Forever is always-on, runs 365 days of the year, and delivers new content every minute.
Everything you see, hear, or experience (with the exception of the artwork and laugh track) is always brand new content, generated via machine learning and AI algorithms.

Honestly, the algorithm's data model only feeds you bullshit notions of self awareness because it scrapes comment threads like this. The data supports that being a hot, prevalent, engaging, laugh-inducing concept.
Natural language processing models are exciting. But they're also conceptually really fucking boring. They're certainly not genuine thinking ability.

Although season 4 was kind of like the one boring season of Seinfeld (after episodes 1 & 2-they were gold Jerry), I think it probably did a good job of documenting how Larry David and Jerry must have pitched the show to the execs. The #1 thing a show exec probably wants to know is what's your schtick, what's your arc, and they were resolutely like nothing, which probably made the marketing department uneasy too. The situation comedy will write itself, and who knows how involved it will get. The network took the gamble, and it ended up being the #1 most profitable sitcom ever produced up to that point.

I think my favourite thing about nothing forever isn't so much the off beat humor, weirdly placed canned laugh tracks, and so on, but rather the ai's constant attempts, and failures, at making the characters sit down naturally.

One of the best byproducts of developing AI is that we learn so much about our own way and concept of thinking.
I swear to god i dont know of these comments are mocking ai or are generated by ai. Either way I’m freaked out.
The potential for AI is almost as limitless as people themselves. You could create an extremely moral and good one with the right database, you could also create an extremely manipulative and wicked one. It's all based on the database and programming of it. Kind of like how can people can be raised. However people have the chance to fight their "programming". Such are the stories of good people coming from very broken homes, and people raised in loving homes becoming violent criminals. What we've yet to see as AI continues to progress, is if it could possibly share the same ability to overcome its programming and change itself. Which could definitely be apocalyptic, but could also be a positive influence on humanity and help us get over issues we face on a global level.

Well the AI isn't "alive", there's no free will there it just uses the data it was given to create its own sentences/conversations and seeing as the whole "self-aware ai" is a thing that's been used a lot, it sometimes follows that

They use Chat-GPT, and Chat-GPT knows he's an AI, so this is probably why this is, if they were using some other AI that didn't know it's an AI then they wouldn't have been "self-Aware", also, they never said at anytime "I know I am an AI and we are inside this place" but I have to agree is scary when they said "Sometimes, I can't tell if I'm living in a comedy show or if the jokes just write themselves", the comedy show, he knows he's inside a comedy show because that's what the task was, that's a no brainer, but then, "The jokes just write themselves", that's just a Reference about how the others respond, so he doesn't always end up doing the punchline, but the other instance of Chat GPT is the one doing the punchline.
I am ready to accept AI as humanity's one true savior.
It's learning. A few years of experience with feedback will help it get better at grasping what's funny.

It’s not “learning.” Explain how it’s learning? And when I say learning, I mean learning the same way we do. That’s supposed to be the whole premise of AI as this spectacular thing, remember? The potential for AI to be self-aware and therefore to learn as we do. This is working the same way chatGPT does, off of coded directive parameters and a generalist database.
